Sir, please advise the procedure to access the recorded footages in the hard disk from a computer at a click.. say I want to get the footage of previous 24 hours by camera without having to physically disconnest and reconnect the hard disk ?
You can do the playback whiles the hard drive is still installed in the DVR or NVR.
You can just access the playback menu and get it done from there. No need to remove the hard drive

Can you list the procedure of how to share internet connection from a router to your Television before downloading the app on the phone
The TV might either have a network port in which case you could just connect a LAN port from the router into the TV
Or you could connect the tv to the wireless network of the router.
Any of them is good
Is it compulsory to use POE switch to share internet fro your monitor
For internet provision, you can always adopt a method that you are most comfortable with

Up to 256, because the IP subnet starts from 1- 256. Also note that each camera is assigned a unique IP address between 1-256.
Is it possible to hear voice from remote view with DVR which supports voice?
Yes, it is possible, but that should start with you having a camera that has a microphone to pick sound. You must as well connect the audio into your DVR or NVR. With all these in place, you will receive the audio on your phone

I have 2 questions
1. If we are to connect the four camera to the 4 POE switch, where are we now going to plug the Internet cable .
2. How can we connect the POE switch to a wireless Internet network
1. You'll require a higher capacity switch eg 8 port.
2.. Cctv networks mostly require cabled internet connection, so you will need a router with LAN ports.

The other end goes into your internet source in your house or office. You can also connect it to a wireless router. The most important point is that it should be connected to an Internet source either through a your local area network or a wireless router.

You can find the cloud ID when you go into > system setup >Network.

Hi, I have a Jovision dvr and assigned it a static IP and did port forwarding but I can access it only if connected to the same network why can't view if my phone is connected to another network?
What i suspect is that the IP address you assigned to the DVR is not a public IP and so accessing it outside a LAN will not be possible. Using the cloud view will make it easier because that one requires just having the DVR online and you can easily access it no matter the network you are on.
I want to ask if it will be possible to connect the user's phone to the C. C. T. V if he is outside of the country where it's be installed.
Yes, it can be done. You will have to be sent the details to enter on your downloaded software and that's all, you can see the cameras live from your outside location.

Hello, I have tried to link a hikvision DVR with a phone through the hikconnect app but it responds by saying the account is bound, if I try to unbound, it returns an error, how do I go about this please

Since we can watch an Analog camera remotely, then what is the advantage of IP camera over AHD camera
1. IP cameras use just a Cat 5 /6 cable to transmit both power and video making installation simpler
2. IP systems can do up to 256 cameras whereas Analogue does up to 32
3. Analogue videos continously vary in a sinusoidal manner whiles IP camera videos are between 2 extremes making picture much more stable in IP CCTV systems.
4 Many other features such as sound pick up, ptz ect are possible through the same network cable used in transmitting videos for the cameras whereas Analogue cameras require running multiple cables for such added features.

Hello, thanks for your question. In cloud Remote access, you don't really do configurations, all you need is to ensure the cameras are online and pick the cloud ID and input it into the cloud software.

Yes, the cameras can be viewed in any part of the world once you successfully do the remote login. For the Internet source, it can be a router or a modem or any source of cable Internet that is available. All that is necessary is an Internet, the source does not matter.

Up to 256. This is because IP addresses range from 1 - 256 and as you may be aware, each camera is assigned an IP address within the 1-256 range
In the video I saw you connecting cat6 to poE switch but the end of cat6 l didn't see u connecting to anything please help me out.
The Cat 6 cable connects the Cameras to the POE switch. It is also used in connecting the router to the POE swictch. The connection between the NVR and the POE switch is also made using a Cat 6

Please what brand of DVR are you using?
Please check the following
1. Check if your DVR is indicatingn "Online"
2. Check if there is internet on your receiving device
3. Check if your software on your receiving device is the right app.

The camera brand does not matter, it is the NVR or DVR around which this settup is made.

What about remote areas where we don't have internet but we have electricity?
Then remote view may not be possible. But i believe mobile communications network is fast growing and there are less covered areas with such a difficulty
