Excellent,keep on the good work . Please my question is will it work if I connect a video ballon and a dc connector at one end of a cat 6 cable and an RJ 45 plug at the other end to a bullet camera with a b and c connection to an NVR
It would not work, because cameras with BNC terminal are Analogue cameras of which the NVR is strictly used in Digital or IP camera installations.
The AHD or analogue high Definition cameras cannot work on NVRs

The videos are stored on the hard Drive installed in the Network Video Recorder (NVR)
Once the cameras are able to connect to the NVR, the recordings are done on the Hard drive.

You can just pick a cabled LAN connection into the NVR or DVR.

The NVR does not come with a Hard drive, you would have to buy and install into the NVR by yourself.

The NVR takes a Hard Drive

This particular camera system is wireless and does not require the use of the LAN cable.

Great videos 👌🏼 but I have a question. How much radius can the nvr cover?
This particular one covers 300m in open spaces like supermarkets but in partitioned wall environments, it can only work through 3 walls. Giunf beyond 3 walls weekens the signal to the NVR
What distance does this wireless setup allow? That is the distance between camera and NVR?
It covers a radius of 200m in an open space or passes throgh 3 walls for indoor installations.
How about if the house is 3rd. Floor. It will not affect the viewing if I installed 2 from the 1st. Floor, 1 for the 2nd floor and 1 for the 3rd floor?

It is thesame as device ID, it is not the device serial number.

They will work no matter the location but you must be within the coverage distance of the NVR
May I know if this works in Nest and Dropcam?
The technology is the same but Dropcam is more of a standalone camera system

Question: for accessing the video with your laptop, can't I use vms? Why use IP address and not cloud ID like previous videos 🤔
This particular brand does not have a VMS, i could use the Jovision VMS but that would require the use of Onvif settings. I would teach how that works in future videos.
So if one installs these cameras outside where will one get power for all. I doubt the power adaptor wires are long enough to plug into house sockets.
In installing these cameras, you would have to make power provisions at each location where you wish to place a camera.

You need to do port forwarding for your NVR to be able to just open it up in a browser. You can alternatively use a VMS software to view the cameras on a computer

The cameras come with night vision ability. You can stream using the rstp address.

The video recorder does not have a wireless network adapter

It is not advisable, the adapter will be overloaded

My NVR is showing System Initializing, what can I do?
Please disconnect your Hard Drive and power up the NVR without it and see if it comes on. I suspect hard drive failure.

Yes, you can do that.

- open browser on tablet, type in NVR IP address

My problem is, connection to the laptop.
I entered the ip of the dvr in the browser and the hikvision log in page appeared.
I entered username and password and the live view page opened but there was no video meanwhile the live view on the tv was showing
The video port is not opened by your network provider. This method requires port forwarding and opening the TCP & UDP ports in order to have video displayed.
Pls what is the best device for viewing...a monitor or tv?
All of them are good but each of them have their features. Eg, A TV may give you the luxury of a bigger screen and an HDMI input. A monitor may be smaller, with a VGA or + HDMI. So you may want to choose one depending on what you wish to get out of each choice.

The remote view process is similar to what is done on this one.

It is advisable to get the cameras and the NVR as a complete package, mixing different brands may not work.

2. Resolution/ quality of your recordings, the higher the recording quality, the faster it takes to exhaust your recording space

Check power connection into that camera and re-scan your system again.
Try using the power for a working one and see if it works, if it does, consider getting a new power supply for your camera
On the cloudsee app it shows I'm online but no video shows. I get connection failed

You need to do port forwarding for your DVR or NVR. But you don't necessarily need the port forwarding to do your remote view, you can use the cloud P2p to achieve remote view from anywhere
