What did invasion, conquering, subjugating, genocidal murder, slavery and colonization mean for European and their descendants?
For Europeans and their descendants, Slavery was to wealth, what the Big Bang was to the Universe. I look at slavery as a Big Bang of wealth creation. An instant explosion of Wealth that ripples through space and time, creating compounded wealth that transcends generations. The benefits of which is still being felt to this very day by Europeans and their descendants.

For Africans and their descendants, Slavery was to Poverty and suffering, what the Big Bang was to the Universe. I look at slavery as a Big Bang that created great human suffering and poverty. An instant explosion of human Suffering that ripples through space and time, creating compounded suffering and hardship that transcends generations. The negative effects of which is still being felt to this very day by the descendants of the conquered and enslaved people.
Marcus Garvey showed us the way.
All we have to do is follow his model.

I wish the female would speak more clearly and say what she means, and mean what she says. How can we engage in communications when conversations can't be spoken? There is tension by those in the know, the question is why?
being a minority on the inside of power structures does not allow or make it easy to be "outspoken" or too progressive on these subjects - without being unseated, or in the case of mr obama at the time, somehow assassinated accidentally or whatever..
The discussion of reparations and the general welfare of Africans worldwide...needs to be pried from the hands of the Boule, and put squarely on the shoulders of ALL Black people.

Reparations? I wonder what £20 million; £27 million; or a total of £47 million in old English money [1835-1838] would be in today's money? And that does not include an average daily pay rate for millions of slaves, over about 200 years - and this is just for the UK's part in slavery and its potential compensation to Afro-Caribbeans in its former empire - and those of its diaspora! Could they even begin to afford to pay at today's rates? But first they must first recognize the evils that were perpetuated!
ADOS/ FBA is the only group that should receive reparative justice. It took me being educated to make this Facts/ Feelings determination. Many are truly ignorant of their attributes and continued hardships many that were created by governmental agencies. Education is the Key to correct depictions.
Slave society in the America's was modeled after the deplorable conditions formulates in the Caribbean specifically Barbados and even Jamaica. This model was later implemented in the Carolina's in America. Your argument solely for so-called FBA/ADOS is very faulty. Likely due to being based upon emotions as you so openly admitted
You have the audacity to espouse that education is the key and yet you also espoused that “ADOS/FBA” are the only ones who are deserving of reparatory justice.

It is very informative to listen to an expert in the field. But I may see things a bit different. Acknowledging the facts that 1. The Africans in the Caribbean were sold by other Africans to the Europeans during the slave trade.

Ironically all parties you have listed HAVE ALREADY received reparations 10x over. But only the enslavement of the Black Americans built much of Europe’s wealth and ALL of Americans wealth.
