      These aren't mutually exclusive. Without force to enforce your laws, they become useless.

      Well , after seeing the replies to my comments and the number of likes to the incorrect version and the correct version, I am baffled by these responses.
      Laws are only enforced by the hands of courts, nobody else. The police work under the rulings of the courts. The minute you take law into your own hands, you are stepping out of a civilised nationhood into the unknown territories.
      Of course you could break a perfectly proper system and still pretend you are still operating in accordance to the proper laws. That is when the people need to step out of their hibernation state and concentrate on the what kind of action.

      The history taught to the American People is a huge and grotesque distortion, and yet we have Right-Wingers and people like Donald Trump maintaining that we need to institutionalize what he calls "Patriotic History" in US public schools.
      I wonder what these people think we are taught??

    • @berniepeng
      @berniepeng 3 роки тому +20

      So, why is this version of "history" true, but not other versions? Chomsky may be an intellectual, but he's not immune from error. In fact, he may be more deposed to error. This is his version, and it is just a far from the truth as others are. If you think Chomsky understands this situation more than anyone else, you are mistaken. The truth will never be told, because the truth is that both sides are guilty of wrong doing.

Sorry to break it to you buddy but Jewish people living in that area aren't going anywhere and no amount of ethnic cleansing you're calling for is going to change that, maybe redirect your play activism to actual issues the Palestinian independence movement needs like cleaning up its internal administration, cleaning its image internationally, Actually practicing democracy within the PNA, etc.
