This is meaningful conversation... as it should be. The local, state, and federal governments here in the United States of America should be paying attention and model there so called reparations panels and councils after what I'm seeing here....

You're wrong about your history. The word Slav comes from the word "slave." The term slave has its origins in the word slav. The slavs, who inhabited a large part of Eastern Europe, were taken as slaves by the Muslims of Spain during the ninth century AD. Slavery can broadly be described as the ownership, buying and selling of human beings for the purpose of forced and unpaid labor. 2] In Constantinople (present-day Istanbul), the administrative and political center of the Ottoman Empire, about a fifth of the 16th- and 17th-century population consisted of slaves.[3] Statistics of these centuries suggest that Istanbul's additional slave imports from the Black Sea have totaled around 2.5 million from 1453 to 1700.[4]
Even after several measures to ban slavery in the late 19th century, the practice continued largely unabated into the early 20th century. As late as 1908, female slaves were still sold in the Ottoman Empire.[5] Sexual slavery was a central part of the Ottoman slave system throughout the history of the institution.[6][7]

Thanks for that lesson in history
But it should in no means justify the chattle history of africans
      All slavery should end
