  • DON’T overthink the conversation on the first date.
But DO keep in mind that healthy men communicate more through ACTION and healthy women communicate more VERBALLY.
The man shouldn’t carry the conversation.
He may guide it gently, tell some effective stories, make objective points or ask some poignant questions, but ultimately he should allow space for the woman to open up, get comfortable and connect to assess for compatibility and chemistry.
You’re looking for a nice flow and balance of curiosity, connection and chemistry between you without feeling it’s forced one way or the other.
You don’t want to flood them with talk about yourself, either. Take your time but do open up gradually as you feel appropriate.
A woman who talks too much comes off as arrogant or uninterested in the man. A man who talks too much is likely trying too hard and showing up in his feminine energy and feels insecure.
The goal is to demonstrate curiosity in the other and be present to listen and respond authentically. To feel at ease to open up and connect energetically.
Being shut down or bull dozing the situation signals disconnection and avoidance.
Like with most examples, we are looking for #thesweetspot
I also suggest doing active things on the first date, which should come after you qualify or VET them over conversation first so you know you share the core aspects of compatibility through shared values, lifestyle and intention.
The “first date” should be an encounter that makes you feel energized and comfortable like you’re exploring a new chapter and get to relish the beginning before all the details are known.
