@@RetroRalph No your video just made me want to sing it. Awesome Mod love the channel keep up the great work and go in for some rare arcade ports. I remember RoboCop as a Kid.
Here's the thing; as sweet as the Arcade1Up machines are, I just don't think I love the games enough to justify the price of them. I don't think I'll return to them enough. Street Fighter 2, yes, I would - but I'm a controller boy, not a joystick fan. I really love the look of the 4 player Turtles game - but I think it would gather dust very fast.
Great feedback man! I don't recall if the original had colored bat tops but I think that would look really nice! I might need to try it and see how that looks! Thanks man!
The official cabinet has a re-recorded song. They didn’t want to pay royalties for the rights to use the original song. But everything else is basically the same as the arcade. Time is unaltered, intro song and all.
Look I know this video is old Retro Ralph, but I would mount that TMNT 1989 board (as if inside an arcade cabinet on a nice plaque that you decorate in TMNT theme and hang it on your game room wall! Would be really sick, and you would not have to damage the board to do it!
sick mod! though wish there was a way to do at least a simple menu so you could also have turtles in time on there to switch between, but as is still a pretty awesome setup!

Nice the cabinet turned out awesome. Love the sub. That's what I plan on doing. Every mame arcade cab needs a sub. Especially for games like Killer Instinct.
That sucks about the board. I got a 2-player version (Teenage Mutant "Hero" Turtles) and luckily that still works. I got a Sunset Riders that doesn't, though, so I feel that pain.

Thanks again for supporting the channel man. I really like the mods you’ve posted so far, looking forward to see what you come up with next!
Retro Ralph So I think I finally might have someone who is going to print Killer Instinct graphics for my Arcade1UP. I tried going to Arcadegraphix to help get those for me, but he told me that there are no good scans on the internet for Killer Instinct. I have scans but I think they are the same ones that he found online. I’ve been searching all over the internet for good scans of side art on Killer Instinct. I’ve got someone who might be able to print me graphics but this guy does full arcades not Arcade1UP but is willing to print them for me. I just hope they fit right. Then I have to found the control panel art. Marquee is the only thing that’s not hard to find

FourCo OpPop Thanks Man! I actually started with arcade cabs. I went to Pandora’s box, Game Elf and RetroPi’s for a while.... I’m kinda slowly migrating back to original arcade hardware. You’re totally right about it giving you the best experience! I mod these for fun and just the ease of working with them. Full cabs are pretty difficult to move around and take up a lot more space. In a perfect world I would have a giant arcade in my house and space wouldn’t matter but sadly I’m a little limited on space. Thanks for the feedback and continuing to support the channel. I plan to do a lot more traditional arcade boards with Jamma soon. The first one I’m going to do is an MVS overview and how to wire everything. I absolutely love working with the Neo Geo hardware! Have you worked with it before? I think you would dig it, if you like Neo Geo game.
Retro Ralph I love Neo Geo MVS, and want to do an Arcade1UP version soon. Maybe use a n ever drive for the best experience without going bankrupt. I know I’m going to go nuts on modding wallcades. It’s a slow process, I have 4 one year olds (quadruplets) and my five year daughter. So I’m a full time dad by day and a arcade modder at night. I’m hoping my daughters will enjoy these when they are older. I’ll let you know when I’m close to finishing the Killer Instinct. (Next week I’m getting the graphics for the unit side art, and logo under control panel). Still trying to get control panel to match the Arcade1UP layout. Marquee is going to be easy to get. Thank you for messaging me back and keep up the good work on your videos.
On the right side of the arcade it need a screwed metal holder that u can add a external arcade controller..make it easier for playing or the 4th player use a regular controller.. not arcadeish..hehe
Sick Cab! Did an awesome job! Love the turtles, let me know where and if you find purple leds for the buttons. Also if you want to reduce vibes from the sub, try adding sound damping mat that ud use in a car for reducing rattle. It's super sticking and sticks to anything, maybe also add a hole facing where the sub fires towards.... Also "CRACK" kills lol
twodollars2 I’ve heard rumors of arcade1up possibility making an TMNT, X-Men, and Simpsons cabinet. It’s just as you saw getting the fourth player in there is difficult, they may have to actually make this cabinet bigger if they intend to make this work.
Dude that thing is sick👀😮🤘👍 love it🖤💚 tmnt is my s*** big collector in the tmnt vintage toys from the 80's and early 90's..again the thing is dope and I straight up dig it
Thanks man for the awesome feedback! TMMT is also near and dear to my heart so I appreciate your excitement and passion around it! I feel bad for leaving a turtle out of the mix so I’m going to work on options to get all four players onto the cabinet (without it looking ridiculous). Anyway... thanks for watching and supporting the channel, it’s much appreciated!
Hi hey I live in Arizona to is there anyway you could customize/build a cabinet for me that is neo geo and has all the metal slug games on it and only the metal slug games on it I could buy a arcade1up cabinet for you to modify and pay you a handsome fee to do it would that be something you’d be interested in.
Thanks man...it actually was set that way but it kept reverting back to 4:3. I changed the global settings and it's persisting across reboots of the system now. Thanks for pointing that out. I appreciate the support of the channel as well!
The 1989 TMNT arcade game is one of the best arcade games ever made. Thanks.

BLAKER crack is wack ... haha. Thanks for the tip and for supporting the video!
How much would you charge to possibly build one. I would like to purchase one of thees?
twodollars2 I’ve heard rumors of arcade1up possibility making an TMNT, X-Men, and Simpsons cabinet. It’s just as you saw getting the fourth player in there is difficult, they may have to actually make this cabinet bigger if they intend to make this work.
Hype for 4 player TMNT cabinet intensifies
Dude, your just awesome!
Edit: wonder if you could add a ButtKicker in there, might be overkill.
Arcade Party yes you can
Dude that thing is sick👀😮🤘👍 love it🖤💚 tmnt is my s*** big collector in the tmnt vintage toys from the 80's and early 90's..again the thing is dope and I straight up dig it
Thanks man for the awesome feedback!
Hey man... Thanks for supporting the channel. Can you send me an email offline? Here's my email address: retroralph1980@gmail.com
Arcade 1up just announced they are making a tmnt cab but cool mod
Your emulator is set to 4:3, set to 5:4 and you won’t have the black bars onscreen
Thanks man...it actually was set that way but it kept reverting back to 4:3. I changed the global settings and it's persisting across reboots of the system now. Thanks for pointing that out. I appreciate the support of the channel as well!
Retro Ralph in retroarch you selected save game overrides?
Damn nigga lol you got some dope elf ears bro, good video too
Great mod!
GREAT CAB ! LOVE IT BRO !
when ya have led buttons your better to use a power usb strip to be sure that the pi gets enough amps
