Night addition looks great. Love a front bench seat truck. The suede looks great! Hemi is a great option for those that don’t tow often and want a truck for truck things. This truck didn’t even have the 5th wheel/Gooseneck prep so they are catering to someone that won’t be towing a bunch/heavy.
I have a 21’ 2500 Laramie with 6.4 and 4.10 gear, can tow almost as much as the standard Cummins at 17k lbs and had a higher payload than the 2500 Cummins but it is thirsty
Im about 1-2 months from getting a 5th Gen 2500. I think they knocked it out of the park with the seat trim mixture. It just looks very sharp the way its done. Suede, leather, perforations, and piping come together perfectly (In my opinion)
$65k and no bed liner. I was pissed about my $32k ranger coming without a bed liner. These truck companies are doing absolutely everything to save a buck. Ridiculous
Add the Borla Touring muffler exhaust and your Golden. I'd go for the Limited Night Package with the Hemi 4.10 rear end anti-slip axil. I have yet to see one out here. Try for one of these if you could locate one. Great video as usual Ben. Thankyou.
Excellent review/driving video! This 2500 next best truck to the power wagon in comparison. Would replace those street tires with off road tires, since the truck has the off road package. Totally agree on the color!
It’s definitely a nice truck, and a good way to save $9500 up front compared to the cummins. But that 6.4 is thirrrrsty. TFL truck towed a 6000 lb boat with one of these and got 9 mpg. That’s about half what you’d get with the cummins.
I have a 2019 1500 Laramie. I will be towing some trailers and equipment, but not daily. This will probably be the set up I will be going with. I've had a couple of 2500 Ram with the Cummins in the past and they were very nice motors. But rarely will I ever need that much motor. 10k more for the Cummins, plus DEF, and more expensive service costs, would take many years to offset the cost. Thanks for the review.
trippy thing on 2500s is the steering......you have to intiate turning the wheel alot earlier and correct minor adjustments sooner than 1500,.....you get used to it but was strange when i first switched....for a truck that can do so much more well worth it

But like always it depends where you live..Almost all crime is at night so if you don’t go out late at night like me you will almost never actually see a crime..

Great truck great looking truck but for the life of me I do not understand why why why ram insists on putting those white letters on the tires facing out it in my humble opinion it ruins the whole character of the truck it looks so stupid why do they do that

Towing a boat with my Cummins trucks that I’ve owned I’ve gotten around 12-13 no matter what it is.

Fuel tank capacity? It gets relatively poor fuel economy when compared to the Diesel, so I like a larger tank so we get at least comparable range.
32 gallon tank, I've been getting about 12mpg

How reliable is the 6.4 hemi? Much has been said about this engine online, it is hard to tell if and how prevalent these issues are?
