I know ur not buying much pops but this you tuber pulled a Batman with an error box thought u might wanna check it out since ur into all sorts of errors paint , box art ,spelling how the print is off on the box(like off center) or variants in general ... I've had to settle for diff channels since u hadn't done ur pop videos lately...
Also ratio variants, if you have any super cheap I would love to buy them all. I think I paid $10-$20 for the 1 in 100s if you have any in the $5-$10 range I will buy those.
Oh yeah so many amazing covers, I love collecting comics for their cover art so its hard to resist when there are so many amazing covers for great prices.
I love whatnot and the streams you mentioned are ones that I too frequent. Street level hero, I have won their ceiling pack before and it's amazing. So many signed comics and slabs.
Cool just used the $15 to buy the Kyle straham exclusive twig on his whatnot show. He was auctioning off the 1:100 skottie young variants too. And a twig and violator spawn special that sold for $330
Comics featuring beautiful females always sell well especially in bulk, along with many Various types of Collage Covers,Single Poses,Group Poses, and Team-UPS as well but I never neglect the basic Comicbooks primarily important within a particular Character and Various other Titles also. But you have définitiely out done yourself in this video-"Thanks Again,Wonderful To Actually See."
Dang you did go nuts on the comic traders stream. I’ve done that too😂 You might be interested in the smz comics stream on whatnot. A lot of Tyler Kirkham stuff, but also prints and some original sketches and art
I think I have watched a few SMZ but nothing that caught my wallet yet haha I will definitely check out more of their streams. And yeah comictraders is purely selling their books wholesale, its not hard to spend a small fortune with them.
You surprised me with this haul. Normally you are big on Archie comics and many other cartoon characters so I was was amazed to see so many Venom comics and many recent DC, Marvel variants. All great covers, don’t get me wrong, maybe covid gave you too much time to buy on WhatNot! Regardless it’s an amazing haul and you are clearly into everything!
I collect tons of this stuff, but normally mainstream stuff I buy giant collections and get it all that way, I rarely buy them issue by issue unless its an amazing deal.
32:30 If you like the White Widow check out Absolute Comics Group, late night on Fridays and Tuesdays. The writer and co creator Benny has awesome buy nows, and auctions that I feel run at robbery prices.
@@pop-comics I am sure you own a lot more comics than me, but I ordered over 200 comics this weekend and they were all 75% off. There were 41 pages of 75% off books when I ordered my books on Saturday night. I didn't bother looking at the 25% off books. I had a bunch of gaps to fill, and I wanted to do it on the cheap.Your videos make me want to buy as many comics as possible!
I thought it was real cool when venom fought the submariner it was a good battle but venom was being a real smart mouth so the submariner rips his tongue out.
My main issue with whatnot is sellers not filling out the auction item info (so all my purchases just have no listing information) as well as just the inability for me as a buyer to really see the condition of the comic. There are a lot of sellers on there that either don't tell you the quality or are bad at evaluating the grade.
Yes keeping track without info does make it hard. If I remember to take a screen shot they save a 1 minute clip of the video for me. I wish they did that automatically for each purchase. Or a way to watch the show again with a time stamp of the purchase. That is something that needs to be improved. And buying older comics is kinda hard, I have not really purchased much more then exclusives from vendors who make them.
@@pop-comics I can see the value for incentive variants if those are directly from the sellers, but I'm trying to stay away from modern variants at the moment (unless they are an artist I like such as Adam Hughes, I find all of these variants to be gimmicky). I actually just got in a Sensational She-Hulk #1 that I bid on thinking it was NM (maybe VF at worst) only to see a ton of abrasion damage the seller didn't bother to highlight or mention on the stream. At this point I would rather spend time sifting through sites like HipComic auctions for good deals than hope something good ends up being thrown up on Whatnot and then find out the condition is bad once I receive it.
That is a bummer it was much lower grade then you thought. I personally would stay away from older stuff on whatnot since you can see pictures. Hip definitely better for older stuff. I have a hard time finding a deal on HIP so I dont buy as much on their compared to ebay which I can find great deals on the old stuff. For me I love variants with beautiful covers, I am cool with that gimmick since I collect comics for the art. Plus I like things being more limited.
I don't know a lot about comics but I inherited a cpl hundred of them when my uncle.passed ..Im gonna being them to NY when I come in January maybe u will be up to trade for a pop or something.. Maybe at least lmk if I have trash or cash!! Alot of 70-80s pops and I have mine from the 90s by the grace of god they weren't in my storage unit when it burned down and lost all my other stuff
There are a few golden age streams here and there but not a huge selection. I would love a dedicated show or two on what not featuring golden age, I would be there buying every show.
Yeah definitely, when so much is 10-50% or more below ebay prices its really easy to overspend. I need to pull out some duplicates and see how well they sell. That can determine how much I can buy.
Its Draculina on the cover but not 100% sure which issue and cant find it online. When I see it next in my collection when I am sorting I will check to see which one it was.
What dont you like about it? So far I am finding so many comic deals I love it. I see so many negative videos about the platform that I avoided it for a long time but I kinda love it now. What has been your experience that makes you not like the company?
@@pop-comics Well there is a laundry list. Special contracts for "influencers". People peddling books that in a week or two will fall flat price wise. Carnival game style auctions. Plus, anyone speaking up negatively can be banned and put aside. I'm not saying you are doing those things, as I generally feel you love what you do and this community, but I've seen a lot of negative, and that's not just on the Comic side of things. There's a laundry list of what I've seen, experienced, etc that I could go over with you lol
I appreciate your perspective, thank you for spelling out your dislikes and concerns instead of just trashing me for joining up on whatnot. I am a bit biased, I contacted them to get a sponsorship to cover the cost of selling on there because people have been asking me to sell stuff to them directly for years and I find all other methods very time consuming so I avoided them like the plague. That being said what not is really about the personality of the people selling in addition to what they are selling. Having whatnot compensate some creators to join and promote their platform I think is great. UA-cam does not pay very well, I make like $5 an hour for the work I do here and that does not even cover the expenses of equipment let alone labor of creating content. So if whatnot wants is offering some income for select creators I think that is very fair. Way better then just expecting them to promote work with them for free.
As for people promoting the whatnot exclusives like Ninjafunk, I can understand that can be annoying, I am not really into that myself either but it does not personally bother me. I just focus on deals, I am a deal hunter so I will always follow streams that I am getting comics I actually want for an awesome price over some new hot thing etc. But that should be true with any venue you're are buying comics from.
I am not a fan of carnival games in general, you over pay for a chance to win something crappy. But I do find some of the mystery packs and things on whatnot fun, I just focus on the ones that give you good value even if you dont win the best pack or box etc. People like Comictraders really give you awesome value for your dollar. I like that. Some of the other games people come up with are a bit scamy and carnival like so I understand that concern. I personally just focus on those channels I enjoy and get value and ignore the rest. Also I really enjoy how often you can win giveaways, something free is pure value and fun.
Comic collecting is about however you enjoy it. I collect single issues for the covers, trades and hardcovers to read the stories. I prefer reading them in collected formats. The best comics have an awesome cover, awesome interior art and a wonderful story. Hard to always find all three in one book.

I wish more people on you tube would go through them the way you do. It allows time to look at each book and also keep a good pace going. Thank you!
I really do enjoy showing a ton of books, fast enough that its not boring but slow enough to have a few moments to see every book.
Almost 5k spent on modern comics? Good deal bro. I have a store full of the comics you just bought for half price
Do you sell online? I would love to buy 9.8 graded signed comics for half price. Or store exclusive virgin variants for $4-$5
Also ratio variants, if you have any super cheap I would love to buy them all. I think I paid $10-$20 for the 1 in 100s if you have any in the $5-$10 range I will buy those.
You’ll find this funny, I’ve won 250 giveaways on whatnot and my collection has doubled because of it. Cheers.
Very cool. I am up to 10 wins in 2 weeks so I totally see winning a long box worth of comics over time.
@@pop-comics I saw you win 1 in comic traders brother. Congrats and happy holidays.

Awesome that you are feeling better. Hugs from Wisconsin.
Not 100% better but getting there. I see a ton of gambit stuff on Whatnot for great prices. Just got to find them deals.
🤔...No words can express the magnitude of awesome that was done here...🤘🏼💯✔️
hehe yup!
I think I will try whynot! I wish u bought some spawn
Spawn is fun, I don't really go out of my way to buy Spawn because it gets traded into my shop often enough to keep building my collection.
I love whatnot and the streams you mentioned are ones that I too frequent. Street level hero, I have won their ceiling pack before and it's amazing. So many signed comics and slabs.
Oh I think I bought from Street Level Hero as well, if it did not make this video it will be in the next. Sounds like an awesome pack of comics.

That peach momoko signed We Live Slab🤩
Oh yeah such a cool comic to have signed and graded a 9.8
