They are from 2000. It was verified by an independent third party (Fierce Panda Records). Andy’s solo project has been active since around 2003 and Owain has performed numerous times throughout the 2000s.

I’ve been collecting charity shop CDs for years and have found tons of old demos that weren’t online yet, many with the same distortion that occurs on old CD-Rs. There’s absolutely no way it’s fabricated, at least from my perspective.
