4:48 I say "ruined" I mean "damaged". Ruined clothing can NOT be repaired. Badly-damaged/damaged clothing can be to worn.
I do say in the video you can't repair ruined things somewhere else, but I just wanted to make it clear no ruined item can be repaired or worn or used or ate.

Even as someone who's been playing DayZ for many years, I learn something new from your Beginner Guides every time. I wasn't aware that punching a player or Zed with a bandage in your hands may take away the disinfected state of the bandage. While I know it's important to go inland asap, you did mention that the MK is found in coastal towns. Can we expect to find ammo for the MK in coastal towns as well?

I’ve always found keeping light and only keeping what you need useful and always wear gloves even if ruined saves you having to wash your hands after cutting up chickens cows etc…. And always make sure you have plenty of bandages and for me personally I’ve always made sure to carry a splint.

Dayz in concept is amazing, but having to die 5 times before you can get enough food and water to get inland, just to be shot, because you have a gun w no ammo, has made the game suck. If you dont have online friends to play with, this game is garbage on console.

I like to run to train car for gear when fresh. Usually can find some warm clothing and a few other useful items right away.

I have a lot of videos on how to specifically find food on my channel. Search the word "food" on my profile. Honestly, it's such a difficult thing to start with but once you figure out the basic spots and ways to get it, you'll never starve.

Great video, I brought this game a couple years ago and I thought my PC was not strong enough to run it. well, after 800+ hours of Dayz youtube videos, I'm finally ready to never play and just watch more videos. I cut up a dead pigs body and got sick pretty fast I just died. Very sad
Now , I cannot confirm it because I’ve only played Xbox dayz unless it’s a mod on a community server, I noticed that the PlayStation servers when you walk up to a player close enough whether they are alive or dead you’re able to read their gamer tag and I think that’s a shame I think the ability to maintain the anonymous nature of the game is one of the greatest things about it you don’t know if Jim or Bob, you’re talking to on the coast is really just someone who’s super insanely well versed in the game and that’s part of the fun they could be the greatest Dayz players, or they could be noobs I’d never want someone to be able to look at my gamer tag. It just leaves the door open for so much spam and harassment. Of course you can just block that person or ignore them but I digress running into strangers is part of the fun absolutely

Yeah, that's a thing. I think it has to do with the consoles ToS though and not BI themselves but I could be wrong.

I’ve heard you can only get them with snare traps? take this with a grain of salt tho cuz idk anything about hares, never seen one either.
I've only ever caught chickens in snare traps. You could be right though
Unless it's a mod you probably wont. Snares are the only way, but they'd be super fast xD
To catch hares, you need to add fruit to the snare trap. We catch them in base with dried or fresh tomatoes 😉@@zombieapocalipse2020

This is the easiest part. The fruit u spawn with is enough to get inland. Just grab some water and maybe 1-2 more fruits and ur good. Dont waste any time looting the city u spawned in. Its not worth it. Just run to the nearest inland city. This is how I be looting military areas ~1 hour after spawn before I die from a cold cuz I cant find any tetra pills😂
