The thrill and adrenaline rush you get from chasing it is one unlike any other. Chased it from Tower 55 to Midlothian, it was a blast to see it in action
I'm over in Texas and seeing big boy up close was the first time I ever saw a steam engine in my 30 Years of Living it moved me to tears and sent chills up my spine.
Glad you were finally able to see a steamer in all it's glory! If you're from Texas, look into the Texas State Railroad. They run steam powered trains every year.
Your videography and photography at the end was most excellent sir! I was fortunate enough to get to chase the 4014 all the way from North Little Rock, AR to St. Louis, MO over the course of two days. It was truly a sight to see. Hoping I get to see the 844 some day as well.
Bishop, I have watched a bunch of videos of 4014, and I believe it is the best I have seen. Also, I think it may be the best video you have produced. The whole 4014 experience was great. The only thing that could have made it better would have been that it passed through Ruston.
Excellent video. I was fortunate to see 4014 in Opelousas then filmed it speeding through Port Barre. So happy my schedule worked out for me to see it.
Awesome video! I am glad you got to see the Big Boy. I would like to see it sooner or later, but I live on the east coast. It seem amazing you were able to get videos of it without crowds in the way!
I caught Special footage of the bigboy my self threw my Home town of shreveport Louisiana it was Moving at 50 MPH threw Linwood Ave as it entered the area I saw it up close and personal so much fun but didn't know the track I was by was the high speed track
What a beautiful Railway and 4014 .makes you wonder why the engine and 2 diesals couldn't haul some UP REVENUE LOADS TO HELP OFFSET THE COSTS OF RUNNING A STEAM LOCOMOTIVE 🤔🤣
Thanks for watching everybody! It was an absolute blast chasing the Big Boy once again!
Excellent video I enjoyed watching it 👍😀😀😀😀🚂🇬🇧
7:30 It was later given a patch under it's running numbers with the UP Shield that says 4014 steam helper
I was so happy when 4014 came and stopped in my home town of Bunkie it was loud though but in the end it was worth it. :D
I was able to catch it in Luling,La. about 25 miles west of New Orleans. Thanks for sharing this video, very well made.
Absolutely love the shots and overall edited very nicely. Keep up the good work Bishop!
Saw 4014 all 3 days while in Fort worth and It was truly a sight to see

@@LouisianaRailProductions always a pleasure my guy!
I saw her in Donaldsonville. Great to see her again after almost 2 years!
Bunkie was always a gas stop for us on our trip to see my sister in New Orleans. Got some good photos back in Mopac days.
Lucky you! Wish the old MoPac or T&P was still around. Then again, we wouldn't have gotten this excursion if they were. Thanks for watching!

That really means a lot! Thanks for the kind words! Unfortunately, I don't see any steam rolling through Ruston anytime soon.
Great coverage!
Amazing being a local and experiencing this!
Thanks Clint!

Thanks for watching Cliff! Yes I was thankful that it would roll through on my off day!
Excellent job Bishop, I think seeing it in person was a top moment of my railfan experience so far.
It definitely is a top moment! Steam on the main is very hard to top!
@@LouisianaRailProductions that’s the first steam locomotive I’ve seen in operation and for it to be such an iconic piece of history is surreal.
I've been in love with steam since I was a very young railbuff. You'll have to visit Texas State Railroad when steam is running there.
@@LouisianaRailProductions yes I hope one day they get 610 running.
Great job Bishop, glad you had a successful chase as well.
Appreciate it Ty!
Brilliant! What a machine!
Thanks! Quite the machine indeed!
Excellent video! I caught him in Palestine 2019.

Fantastic video Bishop! I caught it alongside LA 1 just north of the Port of Shreveport/Bossier. It was a sight to behold!
Thank ya Jess! They made sure to keep y'all waiting over there haha!
@@LouisianaRailProductions It was definitely worth the wait! Better than seeing it in NOLA like I did the Saturday before!

Great video!
Loved the narration and locations you picked out! Excellent shot at Natchitoches as well, really shows why you wanted it the most.
Appreciate it friend!
Me being a Louisianan and a railfan I've always wanted to see this Beast roll down the railroad but never had a chance because I can't drive I'm 11
Chased her across Wisconsin. Good job on the video!
