*My wife just purchased this model and the instructions weren't anywhere near as clear as yours. The video was a big help and your camera work was fantastic. I just subscribed to your channel for her. JUKI ought to hire you to do instructions videos for them. Thanks a million, Rosie!*

This is an excellent video because the pictures are close enough to see clearly, the person giving directions speaks quite clearly and appropriately slowly as she demonstrates exactly-there is no question what she is demonstrating. I was able to complete the functions with competence, which was quite a relief for me. I have watched a number of this type demo and this is one of best. Thank you.

This is the best demo I have seen on this subject (and I watched countless UA-cam videos). Speaker clear, concise, and instructions given at a slow pace, allowing me to follow. I had given up on my needle threader but I may try again after watching this. The Juki written instructions were not at all helpful.

Agree with the previous comments. Thank you sew much for this comprehensive and concise video. I bought the machine about 3 weeks ago and the dealer helped me set everything up, wind the bobbin, etc right in the store. I finally needed a new bobbin this morning and couldn’t remember how to wind the bobbin (and I kept missing something when rethreading the machine…and how I made it through a whole bobbin without having to rethread I will never know.). Yours was the first video that walked through the entire process without me having to go to another video, and was so easy to follow.

Thanks so much Rosie- just took my Juki out of the box and your instructions were clear, concise, and helpful. I was even able to thread my needle after the second try. I appreciate your close up shots of the bobbin casing area as well as the needle threader area. I will be coming back to this tutorial often in the next few days while I get to know my machine. Would love to see a tutorial on adjusting for proper thread tension, e.g. trouble shooting when tension is too low or too high. Thanks again!

oh god, you just saved my sanity with your comments about troubleshooting the pin in the threader. I just unpacked my machine and the threader would stick on the needle. I checked the pin and just like you said, it was pushed too far forward. I nudged it to center and FINALLY threaded the needle. geez luiz! thank you!

Just got my 2010q and was having a horrible time winding the bobbin and the manual es no Bueno. 😢 So I naturally turned to UA-cam. You've no idea how relieved I was to hear Rosie's voice! I had just randomly picked a video and got the gem of all explainers! Thanks Rosie!
I also found the problem I was having had to do with how fast my thread came off the spool. Put a little net on it and solved that problem as well.

OMG(oodness), I completely echo Carolyn B’s and UFOs over Vegas comments! Was able to wind bobbing, thread machine and use the automatic needle threaded on the first try. I’m a fairly experienced sexiest, but my Juki is completely new to me and I wanted to be sure to do things right, from the start. Your video and instructions were terrific. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a video as clear as this one. Thank you!

I have this machine and it is fantastic. But the needle threader is very difficult to use. So I removed the needle threader from the machine. I purchased a three dollar hummingbird needle threader. I can now thread this machine within five seconds and be on my way sewing instead of being frustrated trying to thread the needle. Not only that, but my sewing visibility has improved since I removed the needle threader. I would suggest this to everyone who is frustrated threading the needle on this machine.

This is the BEST video I've come across for threading the Juki 2010. Most videos show the parts from the side and you can't even see what they look like; you need to look at the bobbin area straight on, for example, same with the auto threader. Thanks for using the screwdriver so your hands don't get in the way of our vision!

Thank you so much I have always struggled with threading my needle, in fact I have tried to use the needle threader and never been successful. Hopefully I can do it now. Also, I struggled with inserting the bobbin casing. I think I understand how it works now.

This is the best and easiest video to understand how to do these things with the Juki. I’ve had mine for a number of years but haven’t used it due to a busy work schedule, 4 kids and 2 moves. I definitely need to relearn how to use these things. Thanks for the video. I’ll be saving it and rewatching. Do you have a video on maintenance?

Thank you for your kind comments. I do not have a maintenance video, but it is fairly straightforward. Brush out the bobbin area to remove all the lint and routinely oil all the places the manual tells you to. There are 7-places that need oil.
