This company is unique in the world in term of process and quality. There is no other company producing plastic parts at this level of quality. Most of plastic parts around us are assembled one way with few others. In a Lego set you have hundredth to thousands of parts in multiple colors that you can assemble in millions of combinations: it ALWAYS works. Amazing!!!
As someone who works in a very small plastic molding facility, this makes me so happy. Wouldn't it be something to work for Lego in one of their facilities one of these days...
Now I understand why Lego sets cost as much as the do, it's amazing how much science, math, and big brains got into the little plastic toys that we loved throughout our childhood and that our parents' bare feet hated.
I've only seen 1 factory error for Lego in my entire life. It was in a set based on Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones. A spaceship had 2 right wing pieces instead of 1 left and 1 right. The fact that I've been playing with Lego for as long as I can remember and that is the only blunder really goes to show the quality control!
I really, really love this toy. If there's one thing I can keep doing all day it's playing with this toy. It helps me to focus, keeps me happy, and distracts me from whatever problems I have everyday.
You fine people, are some of the most spectacular people in existence. No matter if your job isn't as hype as others Anyone who works with Lego is a hero in my eyes
I always got really excited when I'd get a brick in a set that was deformed due to the mold not filling all the way. I had so many Legos over the years, and I only ever found like 3 or 4 deformed bricks. I kept them in a specific spot on my shelf, the super rare special bricks. 😂
Fascinating how much automation is going on during production. I wander how many maintenance workers are required for the molding and storage process. Looks very efficient.
Pretty amazing to see all the industrial machinery, processes, and just how big the factories are to make Lego. Still and will probably always will be my favourite toy. The colorful vast assortment of bricks and infinite creation possibilities. It keeps me in the joy of feeling like a kid.
I have been buying sets ever since late 2011 and like other people say, “no missing parts or misprinted/Miscolored parts”. Incredible quality for a toy that I love even thought I’m 15.
I want to say thank you for this wonderful and creative construction set, every time my mother bought me a small set, which for me was the best toy after my soft toys, thank you very much again for a kind and happy childhood, your designer still gives me the same feelings as in childhood. 👍💙
one time I got a set with a large piece missing. Sent it back to the lego store and they were really surprised XD. Don't know how rare of a chance that is.
maybe they were surprised that you sent it back? they have a whole thing on their website where you can order missing parts which would have been better than returning the whole thibg
That was pure engineering bliss. The automation, the organization, the infrastructure...the planning that had to go into it... That scratched a long lost itch. Wait, maybe it missed a spot. I'd better watch again to make sure. ;)
decent? tolerance in clearance between two pieces is less than 11 microns and the machines punch 15000 of them every minute. this is the best engineering i know about.
I am 67 years old and have been building Lego kits since i was 6 years old I don't want to EVER stop way too much fun!! NEVER a problem or malformed part or anything missing from a kit
Legos were always a favorite toy of mine. When I constructed a retaining wall on the drainage ditch when our street was worked on in 2017 I laid the concrete blocks just like you would Legos.
38 years old and my spouse got me a box of Legos and it was amazing! Brought me back to my childhood and I made a cool bulldozer, which I still play with. Want to get more to make many more things.
When I was a kid, the first LEGO was soviet prototype with metallic and plastic pieces, few years later father bought few packages of original LEGO models, including LEGO Technic. Now I am working with CNC machines as well! Which control panel do you use during the process? We have Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, but I use mostly Heidenhain with Hero OS installed because of its intuitive interface (but also a bit limited, because the machine itself has only 3 coordinates and additional table with 2 axes of rotation).
After hundreds and hundreds of sets purchased i experienced a single missing 1x1 tile, got it shipped to me for free after 2 days with a lengthy apology letter. The quality control of Lego is truly unrivaled! And amazing customer service.
It's really insane the quality and precision and engineering that goes into this whole process. I mean I bought one of those big Ford car models for my girlfriend and it was missing 1 peice. Really easy to have the missing peice sent to us for free. Amazing customer support and satisfaction.

So this is why I have to sell one of my kidneys to get a LEGO set. It’s worth it.
Nah. Other producers sell better sets cheaper. You have to sell you kidneys because LEGO knows they can get away with it
been buying lego technic, city and ninjago sets, never had a missing piece, never had a problem with any parts not fitting etc...LEGO's quality control is simply amazing, never went even a bit down over the years.

I'd imagine they will have replaced every human worker by then.. They even have robots replacing the boxes lol.
@@noire1001 lego still need people to test tolerances, clean and maintain molds and design sets
Now I understand why Lego sets cost as much as the do, it's amazing how much science, math, and big brains got into the little plastic toys that we loved throughout our childhood and that our parents' bare feet hated.
They still get super greedy with lego star wars
@@dathomirpizzagirl9686 pretty sure the film studio is the reason.
@@sadiporter2966 no but youre free to think that
I work in plastic material forming industry and I can’t stop admiring how cosmically high is the level of technology and organization of this faktory
Lego misprints are so rare they are worth more than normal minifigures, lego has insane quality control
Anyone else love the sound of fresh bricks hitting the bin? 😮😮😎😎
eh?
MY FEET HURT JUST LOOKING AT THIS
invent this SAME XD
Foot: NANI?!
Me too
It's so interesting to see how Lego really creates the bricks that we've all known and loved for years. This is insane!
I want to press thumbs up about 50 million times! I so love Legos!
Bennet Fox “Legos” what is that?
I really, really love this toy. If there's one thing I can keep doing all day it's playing with this toy. It helps me to focus, keeps me happy, and distracts me from whatever problems I have everyday.
You fine people, are some of the most spectacular people in existence. No matter if your job isn't as hype as others
Anyone who works with Lego is a hero in my eyes
I always got really excited when I'd get a brick in a set that was deformed due to the mold not filling all the way. I had so many Legos over the years, and I only ever found like 3 or 4 deformed bricks. I kept them in a specific spot on my shelf, the super rare special bricks. 😂
What flavor is the tooth paste. Forgot I made this a year ago thanks so much

Wtf
don't eat molten plastic
I imagine you building a LEGO™ toothbrush and using it...
then puking out blood...
Lego
Awesome! Id love to see more of the factory and how they sort parts for each set. I love Lego even at 51!
I love videos where you can get an insight into how a lego brick is made ... i love Lego❤💯
I want to say thank you for this wonderful and creative construction set, every time my mother bought me a small set, which for me was the best toy after my soft toys, thank you very much again for a kind and happy childhood, your designer still gives me the same feelings as in childhood. 👍💙
Building sets is so satisfying. Even hours into building a larger set I’m still enjoying it and time seems to fly by.
one time I got a set with a large piece missing. Sent it back to the lego store and they were really surprised XD. Don't know how rare of a chance that is.
maybe they were surprised that you sent it back? they have a whole thing on their website where you can order missing parts which would have been better than returning the whole thibg
@@Spoonable idk, was probably easier than waiting for the shipment to arrive
@@circumplex9552 bro it only takes like a week for the piece to arrive
@@BroDgamer1 I aint waiting a week it was a small set
@@BroDgamer1 Not at the moment. Took months for a part from my Lego Lamborghini set to arrive due to covid :(.

The logistics of the Lego Group is insane.
The fact that the factory has the perfect balance between human workers and machines is just beautiful
Dear Fennel Fox: ua-cam.com/video/y_NFOTLf6ZM/v-deo.html
That was pure engineering bliss. The automation, the organization, the infrastructure...the planning that had to go into it...
That scratched a long lost itch. Wait, maybe it missed a spot. I'd better watch again to make sure. ;)
That's a decent and professional engineering!
decent? tolerance in clearance between two pieces is less than 11 microns and the machines punch 15000 of them every minute. this is the best engineering i know about.
Now I want to play with it.
lol

I wish they still made the 2012 Ninjago spinners.
I still have one! I think
They do at least the crowns of the 2012 spinners today and thats something ^^
Irsyad Aman me too TRIPLETS!!!

The machine that presses the plastic into a brick is still the same! Just massively scaled up and and super technologically advanced. I love it!
Amazing. When i was a child, i only had red and white bricks to put on a grey carpet...
Thanks for the visit !
Awesome, I love this behind the scenes!

38 years old and my spouse got me a box of Legos and it was amazing! Brought me back to my childhood and I made a cool bulldozer, which I still play with. Want to get more to make many more things.
i'm glad that modelling a lego brick is possible. nice history video!

That was impressive. Lego is a part of my childhood and a bit of now. And it was nice to see how this wonderfull bricks get created :D
That's so awesome you guys got the How It's Made guy to do this voice over. Adds authenticity.
The customer service is what really amazes me. No other company I have ever interacted with has come close.

When I was a kid, the first LEGO was soviet prototype with metallic and plastic pieces, few years later father bought few packages of original LEGO models, including LEGO Technic. Now I am working with CNC machines as well! Which control panel do you use during the process? We have Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, but I use mostly Heidenhain with Hero OS installed because of its intuitive interface (but also a bit limited, because the machine itself has only 3 coordinates and additional table with 2 axes of rotation).
yuritopoop we own Fanuc, making, hmc,Zeiss and operate around 150 CMC machines in total

Love How they keep their model when working with plastic it’s kinda amazing
After hundreds and hundreds of sets purchased i experienced a single missing 1x1 tile, got it shipped to me for free after 2 days with a lengthy apology letter. The quality control of Lego is truly unrivaled! And amazing customer service.
A man has fallen into the Lego river
HEY!
Now i think why i have double pieces in my lego boxes
It'sAlexisGamer holy shit what the fuck
It usually those small pieces that is easy to lose like round studs, they give multiples just in case u lapse one
I got a lego 31072 and it came with 2 2X (some long studs) plate instead of 1
It's really insane the quality and precision and engineering that goes into this whole process. I mean I bought one of those big Ford car models for my girlfriend and it was missing 1 peice. Really easy to have the missing peice sent to us for free. Amazing customer support and satisfaction.
dream job... in love with technic series from my childhood.
