- This build is incredibly simple for how magical it is, and is my most popular build by a wide margin across all platforms. I call it the 'Waving Square', and the LEGO color is medium lavender. Hence it just gets called the purple waving square. : )

The manufacturing precision of Lego is just insane. You can take thousands of any old pieces and stack them up like this and get zero stack up errors, no pieces that won’t go together etc
I think it's only 18 pieces per million that are considered defective, which is nuts
I definitely have some old LEGO that doesn't fit perfectly together with its own bricks and even worse with newer ones. It was from my grandparents and is around 40 years old, though.

A block that is a cube that can tilt it's surface quads to become a cylinder or sphere or maybe hemi compounds maybe with a rubber exterior...that has a magnet and motor inside it that allows it to move over other "blocks" the "blocks" can configure into different shapes by moving to location...then the blocks lock position and power off...an object orientated unit...depending on resolution you could make anything from chairs to bed pans...tables...etc etc...

Having never heard of such device (we were small kids) we invented a machine with gears of different sizes that could puncture holes in a strip of paper. By switching gears with some levers we could alter the pattern of holes. We then created a code language that we could write secret messages with this machine.
