You've clearly never gone for the relics in slippery climb, high road, or stormy ascent... Hell, slippery climb is ridiculous itself. . Note: I've tried. So many times. None of them are acquired yet.
+ElComandanteRiky Me personally, I got the colored gem for Slippery Climb in my fifth attempt. Not too bad. I still have yet to get a platinum or gold relic for The High Road, and it's the last thing stoppin' me from gettin' the Platinum Trophy for Crash 1.
in the remaster i beat in those levels in my first attempt and the gems too, in the original took me about 2 weeks so compare, the relics can beat if you are a crash master i had experence so it would be easy for me
"puts native fortress 10th because its a big difficulty spike after all the handholding levels before it" "puts hog wild 3rd which is a handholding level before native fortress" 🤔
I prefer hog-wild to native fortress because at least with hog wild you can memorize the timing. With native fortress you have to have precision timing and if you don't: lights out.
I agree. Nowadays games are so easy that even a snake can beat them. Like Mad Max, where you have the shotgun, when you aim it goes slow motion and lock on the giant red barrel to kill your enemy
It wasn't accessible in the original version normally, it was only included in some versions and only accessible through cheat codes (also the level was unfinished and buggy).
You guys are absolutely right, the revamp of Crash Bandicoot is bloody hard compared to the old ones. I do not remember the PS1 version to be this bloody frustrating!
crash 1 was made 100x easier in the nsane trilogy. having a proper save system, being allowed to die in most of the levels and still getting the gem, being able to do bonus rounds multiple times to name a few
Yeah, I was pretty confused when I saw that you could repeat them as many times as you wanted. How was that with the cortex and brio levels? Was that also a one time thing? I don't remember anymore.
Jesus, die once? I know that I still somehow got all the gems back then. But I don't really know how now if you could just die once in the bonus levels :D damn
Hog Wild isn't hard, but last pig is tricky one. Requires to hit right on time. Not too soon or too late, it requires to hit right when you're really close. Took me about 4 tries.
Sebastian Ulloa Pérez yeah you can't die in the first crash game while destroying all the boxes if you wanna get the gem. I hate the first crash so much is not even fun to play. The second and the third one are the best!
I am surprised Bee Having is not on this list. That level is almost impossible to get past mainly because of the bees. I thought Toxic Waste was another tough nut to crack especially how you got to get the timing right to spin away those thugs throwing toxic barrels and those bouncing toxic barrels.
I actually didn't have too much trouble with Toxic Waste this time around, because they added scuff marks on the floor where the barrels bounce, so you can easily figure out how to avoid them. Those bee levels in Crash 2, on the other hand...
Toxic Waste wasn't hard for me at all, and I didn't even notice those marks on the floor where the barrels bounce. I just guessed where they were going to land. I only died twice on that level, but that was only because of a few silly mistakes I made near the very beginning.
Too right Bee Having had me fucking pished off! And one time the game actually glitches and he wouldn’t jump back up from being underground, at a point further on that I’d ever got before.... you can imagine how I felt!
No, it's not a testament to anything. Modern gaming might be less difficult than back then, but at least it's usually fair; when you die, it's generally because you fucked up. Crash 1 is infuriatingly hard and unfair, so much so that I do not understand how it got two sequels despite my love for the franchise. How any child, which this game was marketed for, could beat even half the levels in the first game without breaking their controllers first or sending them through a window is beyond me.
Not agree. I've played and finished the 3 first Crash Game on PS1 before starting the trilogy (two weeks ago so...) and there's clearly a difference that make the remake way harder. The hitboxes are totally fucked up. Jumping on the edge of a platform will eject you (really frustrating on high road for example...), spinning on ennemis don't always work, getting us kill for nothing, hitboxes ennemies are weird (turtle and electrics things in the end of Crash 2) Jumps are heavier... Not really a problem in fact, but combine with the first problem it's really annoying. Vehicules are not fun to play... Mostly the moto which is almost unplayable when doing the relics. (A trick became impossible on Orange Asphalt on the remake... Or maybe it became a frame / pixel perfect... I've not seen anyone succeed it), Coco's jet ski is weird... but doable (even so, few tricks became almost impossible 'cuz of the controls), The plane is probably the best vehicule, I didn't find anything wrong with it. I also noticed few bugs on the moto levels. - Launching pads are weird... The heigh taken isn't always the same, even with the same speed. - Speed pads can be buggy when we fall on it. At the end of Orange Asphalt, the second pad bugs for me. Crash doesn't take it, there's the sound, but I lose a lot of speed... Tomb Wader : By restarting a lot, the doors can bug and stay wide open the whole run. In general : By restarting a lot, the obstacles patterns can change and loose synchronization. Loading time are crazy for that kind of game.... And I could continue... Overall the remake is excellent, but there are a lot of failed details that need a patch to improve the experience
Hog Wild is on the list, and Sunset Vista isn't. Huh. Also, Hog Wild is number 3? Above fumbling in the dark, slippery climb, totally bear and others? I'm baffled.
While I agree that Hog Wild is abnormally high on this list, I don't think Sunset Vista deserves a spot here (as Scribble said above). Not even Lost City- the hardest parts are the bonus rounds, and you can die as many times as you need in the bonus rounds and still get the coloured gem.
Hmm right, I always forget that you're allowed to fuck up on non-colored gems in the remake. In that case, the Lost City is indeed harder. Also Generator Room. Always hated that level.
One of the Ice levels from Crash 2 which involves backtracking through most of the level for the gem on slippery ass ice is the absolute worst. Any level that required running towards the camera really were the worst ones.
To get the clear gem in Cold Hard Crash, you must: - Complete half the level and get all available boxes without dying to get to the death route - Complete the death route on slippery ice avoiding large crushing pillars, murderous penguins and porcupines, and nitro boxes - Backtrack through the death route avoiding the same things still on slippery ice - Complete the rest of the slippery ass level getting all boxes It’s just... it’s not fair...

slippery climb is so hard and you know whats the hardest of all... is destroy all boxes WITHOUT DYING TO GET THE RED GEM AND THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE AND UNFAIR!! so F*** THE SLIPPERY CLIMB!
I did. until my 93% complete file got overwritten with a 16% one because of the fucking broken autosave. made it back to 90% by the same night and 93% the next morning.
Bee Having was soooo difficult! Took me ages to finish. Native fortress is a nightmare as well. Ironically I found polar bear levels quite easy. But the good thing is, with Crash with practice you get further each time you play.
Indeed. Vista is just long as all hell but not really too difficult and since Stormy Ascent hasn't been added yet, it can't be included in here yet. What had me off-guard was that I didn't see Road Crash on here; fuck that level. The most devastating difficulty spike in the game. For now, however, the uncrowned king of difficult levels in the trilogy is The High Road.
Natalie lol well I'm a veteran at these three games, at least the original versions. I've never played the original stormy ascent. Even I find stormy ascent to be a challenge. But right now I'm getting better at the level as I'm constantly going for the platinum relic.
I'm screaming right now. Oh my God. OH MY GOD! After 10 plus years of beating the original ones. Who would've thought that a REMASTER would creep up on me? RIP PS4 controller lol. Someone give me a gun so I can end this insanity (n. sanity).
I'm saying. Hog Wild ranked higher than Slippery Climb. Hell, I'm still puzzled why Native Fortress made it on the list, too. My guess is that they probably didn't bother with the death route in Cold Hard Crash. And Yes, the bees in Diggin it and Bee-having travel much faster than they did in the original.
Hog wild are you serious? Both the hog Levels are a piece of piss. Only 2 platinum relics I've got on crash 1 lol. Agree with pretty much every other level though. Sunset vista should be in place of hog wild
John Young agreed, sunset vista used to be the level that would take me days of coming back to to complete on the original. I passed it in 2 lives with a diamond this time to my surprise.
10.Whole Hog 9.Sunset Vista 8.Spaced Out 7.The lab 6:Totally Bear 5.Native Fortress 4.Road to nowhere 3.Slippery Climb 2.Fumbling in the Dark 1.Highroads
I'm surprised Sunset Vista wasn't in there at #2 behind The High Road. I completely agree with your opinion of The High Road though! Overall Crash 1 is ridiculously hard because you can only jump and spin. The amount of precision in it is Super Meat Boy standard difficulty.
Cold Hard Crash is the CB2's version of The High Road. Fuck that level, especially if you intend to complete the gem. I hated it in the original just as much.
followthereaper665 I totally agree with you, you just have to be with aku aku mask to complete Cold Hard Crash death route and there was a checkpoint, but the freaking route in Piston it Away is at the middle of the stage, where you have to go through the entire level and go back to get both gems within the route
Eustace Bagge Yeap, but the originals were a bulk harder alltogether. Like for the Crash 1, where you could not retry bonus levels if you died in them. And Crash 2's dark levels were a lot easier in N.sane trilogy too.
No it's not on the list because its a DLC not everyone can play that level so stormy ascent dose not make the list. if it's a playable level with out DLC or Internet it counts so they have it right high road is the hardest level everyone can play it if they got the game.
I presume this list is based on merely getting through the level rather than getting the gem, because Cold Hard Crash's box gem is one of the hardest parts of any of the games.
ClassicGamerX11 I was wondering why that one wasn’t in there. I spent literally hours trying to get the box gem. I finally got it by sacrificing my masks to those goddamn nitro boxes. Those. Goddamn. Nitro boxes. OMGAAAA!!!!!
Fuck the High Road! I spent over 60 lives and 2 hours on that shit! I got the gem on my first run, but only because I knew once I finished that level, I could never, EVER bring myself to go back to it again.
This is my fifth attempt on Native Fortress and I’m ready to rip my hair out. I’ve lost over 40 lives to this piece of crap level. I get all the way to the hole in the gate and then I fucking lose. Fml man.
darksymphony777 I keep telling my husband that I’m SO looking forward to that one and the Slippery Ascend levels. And because I want to finish the game in its entirety with sapphire relics on all of the levels, I’ll be torturing myself over and over again to beat the levels.
Ashley Shahan I sense the sarcasm in there and I agree even before getting to high road for the first time I heard of it's infamy. Thought it an overreaction on their part. Followed by two straight days of that level kicking my ass and losing close to 80 LIVES
Hector Guevara I actually also did good but I got pissed how long the level is I only lost 26 lives cause of the first Jumps of the level then I did really good
I have to agree that I had a lot of trouble with most of these levels. Although the worst level for me, by far, in the N Sane Trilogy has to be the bonus stage Stormy Ascent. This stage is only available as DLC and was said to be a scrapped level from the original game. I understood why when I played it. This stage is only for the expert gamers and I died a good 'bout 40 to 50 times before finishing the stage.
Mate, I just beat the level recently and it took me 8 hours straight. Played it from 8pm to 4am. Its 5am now. I really need sleep. Defo the hardest level I've played yet.
Yea I got platinum first try, also only played with one hand. Never played the series before, in fact I'm 4 years old, and blind, forgot to mention that.
Yeah, easy peasy lemon squeezy. It just took about 50 attempts and about 99 (each attempt) lives for me. That level is a joke. But seriously though, I managed to do just fine, but those last three birds? Somehow I just could not get those right.
I actually feel the N.Sanity trilogy is easier. Maybe it's because I'm much better with analog controls and I am now allowed to use them and the graphics make things easier to determine as well.
Idk why people are saying Stormy Ascent is crazy difficult, Crash Bandicoot is such a trial and error game so by the time i played Stormy Ascent i had already mostly mastered Slippery Climb with the Red Gem and such so Stormy Ascent only took about 20 minutes of trying to complete. same with The High Road, The Road to Nowhere took 4 hours for me to complete and once i got to the High Road it was only about 10 ish minutes, cause i was used to the mechanics and precise jumps
Agreed. The Road to Nowhere was pretty hard for me at first. I lost so many lives when I first played it. However, I didn't have much difficulty completing The High Road. When I replayed The Road to Nowhere to get the gem, I only lost maybe 2 lives.
I've been on the high road for 5 hours and I still failed to complete it yet. And out of those 5 hours, I only managed to make it to the end twice... not meeting the required time limit. The most painful level ever for me.
Happy Kuriboh Someone I know completed the first game 100%, when he finally got the relics and stuff in Slippery Climb, he was on the break of insanity. ;-;
I platinumed both The High Road and Slippery Climb today. Now working on Fumbling in the Dark. I don't want to give up but it's 3:00 AM and I've drunk a bottle of wine. Today has been a hard day.
4:20 AM. Platinumed The High Road, Slipper Climb, and Fumbling in the Dark in one day. 1.5 bottles wine drunk. And I'm going to drink more to forget this torment.
High Road: I am the inevitable! Stormy Accent: Well, I am Stormy Ascent! Slippery Climb Red Gem: Well, I have to be done in one go! Based on my true story
The High Road was the easier bridge level. I'm stuck on Fumbling in the Dark. How the fuck do they expect you to make the jumps onto the moving platforms when the fucking light never stays on ?! I literally just rage quit the level.
Fumbling in the Dark may be hard in the remake, but it’s actually 100x easier than in the original. Imagine that same level, but you have slightly lower traction, shorter jumps, higher falling speed, and you can’t die at all in the level to get the box gem. That’s the original. In my opinion, that was the hardest level in the original, although in the remake, Slippery Climb holds that title.
First time I did it, I started the level with 99 lives. At the end of it, only 39 lives remained. That level was pure nightmare. At least I got the gem, so I never had to did it again ...
franko brahamabeats That level made me almost cry for its difficulty! They were right at removing it. I won't NEVER do that level... Never again. I'm lucky I got the gem the very first time I tried, even if it costed me 30 lives.
I think its funny how everyone is complaining how “hard” every level is on the first game remastered. Yeah try beating every level without dying on the original. Smh
Steven That level is easy as hell, just cause you can't get a perfect time trial doesn't make that level hard, it's still laughably easy to finish, just like all of Crash 3
YOU PUT HOG WILD ON THIS LIST BUT NOT DIGGIN IT OR COLD HEARD CRASH!?!?!?!?!? DID YOU EVEN PLAY THIS!?!?!? OR ARE YOU JUST MAKING THIS TO ECHO-CHAMBER FOR THE COMPLAINERS?!?!?!?!?
I HATE THE LEVELS WHEN THERE IS SOMETHING RUNNING AFTER U AND U HAVE TO JUMP OVER THINGS AND AVOID IT ITS SO FRUSTRATING AND I JUST WATCH TO BURN MY SWITCH WHEN THEY CATCH UP TO ME
Wait, THERE'S A SHORTCUT IN NATIVE FORTRESS!?
I SPENT OVER AN HOUR ON THAT LEVEL AND THERE WAS A SHORTCUT THE WHOLE TIME!?!?
DarthFenrir 777 hate that level, took me 15-20minutes to finish it, bc I kept falling or getting burnt.
Wow I can't believe if I didn't see it
It says in a the hint. Grass is greener on the other side of the fence or something like that
I spent 3 days everyday 1 hour on that freaking level
You aint old enough to know this secret :P
The High Road is a pure example of Shell Shock, PTSD and Vietnam Flashbacks all in one.
Audi exactly
Audi more Vietnam flashbacks and Shell Shock
Let me re-correct myself...
Stormy Ascent Flashbacks
It's easy
@@peepee3742 you're easy
My hands have never been more sweaty, when trying to get the gem in Slippery Climb.

Slippery climb ain't that difficult. Try Stormy Ascent..

I beat the high road without getting a game over
Because I farmed 99 lives and walked on the ropes
same here; well, I only had about 70 lives before the level (and about 40 when I finished it).
Even then, I think they fucked up the ropes because i keep falling off them.
But is the time trial gold though?
I Finished On My First Try
AFTER I RESTART MY PS FOR 20-50 TIMES.
Same. Farmed 100 lives & ended with 78.
*FUCK THE HIGH ROAD! DAMN LEVEL SENT ME FROM 99 LIVES TO ALMOST 30!*
Darkstar Darin thats still pretty good ^^

Darkstar Darin took me A WHOLE DAY TO GET A GOLD RELIC!!! A GOLD!!!
I'm dreading going for the gold relic....I'm doing that one last haha.
I got the Gold Relic on The High Road after a whole day of trying.... and forgot that I disabled auto-save :).
::High Road:: "I'm the hardest level in this game." ::Stormy Ascent:: "hold my Wumpa fruit..."
High road is harder imo
Sunset Vista: Hold my Moving Bricks Suckers
its good to see the old games of crash still are difficult like the old times...
YORCHspartan117 Not really.
I got to say, your detailed analysis of the High Road was the most spot on description of a level I've seen in a good while.

what about dark souls - literally tosses me right in there to learn techniques
Funny hearing them talk about slippery climb, now that stormy ascent is in the game
Late response but you didn't have to get a colored gem on Stormy Ascent.
Stormy Ascent is definitely the hardest level, it cost me 50 lives and 2 days to finish!!!
Why do you think it was cut from the original version
It wasn't accessible in the original version normally, it was only included in some versions and only accessible through cheat codes (also the level was unfinished and buggy).

Yeah, same everything else was easy but thats pig...
This game is the perfect definition of trolling. The idea that you can't die when trying to collect all the boxes are just absurdly annoying!
Erik Jamin In the n sane trilogy it isnt like that, only for colored gems you cant die

The game was always this hard. The fact that we all find it so hard is a testament to how easy games have gotten.
SCP Jack That is true
It's way easier now. The controls of the first were most of the challenge.
game is actually harder, crash 1 and 2 use 3s physics. The jumps were not designed with these physics in mind.
No, it's not a testament to anything. Modern gaming might be less difficult than back then, but at least it's usually fair; when you die, it's generally because you fucked up.

God Cold Hard Crash took so much more effort on the trilogy version, without the invincibility mask you’re done because of those nitro boxes.

- Complete half the level and get all available boxes without dying to get to the death route
- Complete the death route on slippery ice avoiding large crushing pillars, murderous penguins and porcupines, and nitro boxes
- Backtrack through the death route avoiding the same things still on slippery ice
- Complete the rest of the slippery ass level getting all boxes

Bee Having was soooo difficult! Took me ages to finish. Native fortress is a nightmare as well. Ironically I found polar bear levels quite easy. But the good thing is, with Crash with practice you get further each time you play.
Amen the high road is is the most ridiculous level ever. It's basically the road to nowhere on fucking steroids
Cole Redman wait till you play Stormy Ascent.
JacobP-123 I thought Stormy Ascent was easy compared to High Road
The High Road takes the cake for causing so many game overs
and the road to nowhere was pretty fucking hard
Cole Redman LOL i did it in 3 tries
Seriously, no Stormy Ascent, or at least Sunset Vista?
CrashFan95 Oh....that fucking vista...
Technically, Stormy Ascent is not yet in the N.Sane Trilogy.
CrashFan95 sunset vista is just long and with timing easy, stormy anscent is the older brother of slippery climb
Taser9001 true
Road to nowhere is absolutely crazy! I'm going insane trying to do this level! Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone!
I still haven’t beat it 4 years later 😩
I just beat it actually omfg 😩❤️
Using the ropes on the side is a huge help if you can stick the landing and balance.
#0: Stormy Ascent
FUCK STORMY ASCENT!
Big Nigga still pretty good
i had 99+ lives and at least 3 game over screens till i completed this hellhole
Don't ever mention that damn level
It doesn't really count because it's a DLC
Scott Holt I had 99 lives and finished with 55 and no game overs 🤗🤗
I finally got the gold relic on it lol
8:05 that needs to be a T-shirt.
For me it was stormy ascent, the DLC. The first time I played it, I went through about 50 lives before beating it.
Just 50? I don't believe you! =P
Someone give me a gun so I can end this insanity (n. sanity).
how on earth did cold hard crash and diggin it not make it...... but hog wild???
Logic Lunacy Hog Wild isnt even that hard. Once you get the timing of the enemies down, it's simple as shit
Logic Lunacy since when are cold hard crash and diggin it hard?? crash 2 is the easiest of the trilogy and I got the platinum
Cold Hard Crash is only annoying if you're trying for all crates.
magiclapras I suppose going for all the crates can be difficult but the level I had most trouble with for the crates was the extra bear level
10: Piston it Away (Gem)
9: Fumbling in the Dark (Gem)
8: Rings of Power (Completion Gem)
7: The Lab (Gem)
6: Dino Might (Relic)
5: Unbearable (Relic)
4: Digging It (Gem)
3: Slippery Climb (Gem)
2: Cold Hard Crash (Death Route)
1: Stormy Ascent (EVERYTHING)
Hog wild are you serious? Both the hog Levels are a piece of piss. Only 2 platinum relics I've got on crash 1 lol. Agree with pretty much every other level though. Sunset vista should be in place of hog wild
John Young agreed, sunset vista used to be the level that would take me days of coming back to to complete on the original. I passed it in 2 lives with a diamond this time to my surprise.
John Young True
John Young fuck sunset vista. It was only fun at the end. Hog wild was actually nice except for the third moose part
10.Whole Hog
9.Sunset Vista
8.Spaced Out
7.The lab
6:Totally Bear
5.Native Fortress
4.Road to nowhere
3.Slippery Climb
2.Fumbling in the Dark
1.Highroads
NerdKiller 0.STORMY FUCKING ASCENT
FUCK THAT LEVEL
NerdKiller #1 stormy accent.
Mega Brodie Player Stormy ascent wasn't released on PS4 when I posted the comment
The native fortress almost made me snap my switch in half
I'm surprised Sunset Vista wasn't in there at #2 behind The High Road. I completely agree with your opinion of The High Road though! Overall Crash 1 is ridiculously hard because you can only jump and spin. The amount of precision in it is Super Meat Boy standard difficulty.
Sunset Vista, I died to that level for TWO hours straight, just for a piece of crap relic
I love the fact they didn’t even bother showing their last pick because it was that excruciating of a level
Cold Hard Crash is the CB2's version of The High Road. Fuck that level, especially if you intend to complete the gem. I hated it in the original just as much.
I'd say piston it away
followthereaper665 I totally agree with you, you just have to be with aku aku mask to complete Cold Hard Crash death route and there was a checkpoint, but the freaking route in Piston it Away is at the middle of the stage, where you have to go through the entire level and go back to get both gems within the route
AND in the original you HAD to leave that one tentacle bot alive!
been there done that got all 42 gems in cb2 and all 44 in cb3
Road to ruin was fucking nuts
Area 51? was one of the easiest levels throughout the trilogy. Even got the platinum trial first go.
Z3ZP me too. got second on the leaderboard. still there last I checked.
Z3ZP that level was hell in the original... so glad it's easier now
Eustace Bagge Yeap, but the originals were a bulk harder alltogether. Like for the Crash 1, where you could not retry bonus levels if you died in them. And Crash 2's dark levels were a lot easier in N.sane trilogy too.
Eustace Bagge I got platinum relic in the original area 51? too.
me too! I thought i would be so angry with it, but two gems + platinum in 2-3 tries
Area 51 was one of the funnest levels ever. I loved it
Same it was my favourite
You missed Stormy Ascent that was removed from the game because of its difficulty but it was readded in the n-sane trilogy
I don't have Stormy Ascent in my version - is there a way to unlock it? I did see it was available as a purchasable add-on at one point
i bought the game early so it was included but you can buy it from store for $2.99
Eric Wadowsky Download free on the playstation store
it's not free anymore, that was just for the first 1 or 2 months
zeregaa its free now
You missed Stormy Ascent!
No it's not on the list because its a DLC not everyone can play that level so stormy ascent dose not make the list. if it's a playable level with out DLC or Internet it counts so they have it right high road is the hardest level everyone can play it if they got the game.
This is so reassuring to me that the High Road (which I'm currently stuck on in Crash 1) is actually extremely difficult....
I agree with all of these except hog wild.....shits easy as hell
TheSchnitzelCrew yep, i think in its place should be... (wait what level? Oh right) Cold hard crash
I thought Area 51 wasn't that hard except for the fact if you want to get a gold relic in that level. But The Bridge level's "SUCKS!"
Why is it in number 2? Should've been Sunset vista at 10 then native a 9 :D
Trying to get all the boxes in piston it away on Crash 2 made me break my controller
Still not as bad as Cold Hard Crash
Unpopular opinion:bee-having is more annoying than any level
I presume this list is based on merely getting through the level rather than getting the gem, because Cold Hard Crash's box gem is one of the hardest parts of any of the games.
ClassicGamerX11 I was wondering why that one wasn’t in there. I spent literally hours trying to get the box gem. I finally got it by sacrificing my masks to those goddamn nitro boxes. Those. Goddamn. Nitro boxes. OMGAAAA!!!!!
that gem nearly gave me a game over and i had 30 lives going into the level
Fuck the High Road! I spent over 60 lives and 2 hours on that shit! I got the gem on my first run, but only because I knew once I finished that level, I could never, EVER bring myself to go back to it again.
Volteire so no platinum relic?
Im new to the crash games. I Beat it in 30 minutes, I would get angry when I see a checkpoint and die 2 inches away from it, I lost about 27 lives
This is my fifth attempt on Native Fortress and I’m ready to rip my hair out. I’ve lost over 40 lives to this piece of crap level. I get all the way to the hole in the gate and then I fucking lose. Fml man.
Ashley Shahan .... that's nothing on what I went through with the high road
darksymphony777 I keep telling my husband that I’m SO looking forward to that one and the Slippery Ascend levels.
Ughhh I hate that level. I’ve been trying to get the gold relic and I’m so fucking over it xD
Ashley Shahan 3 beated it. Next level is easy but the third from native is so god damn hard
Bridge levels are the worst who's with me?
Hector Guevara no, this has to go to slippery climp/F**KN STORMY ASCENT
Slippery climb is easy for me
Hector Guevara I actually also did good but I got pissed how long the level is I only lost 26 lives cause of the first Jumps of the level then I did really good
I did Road to nowhere without the ropes but I did with ropes in High road
I'm glad that the top 2 were Spaced Out and High Road cause those are the only 2 levels I genuinely struggled with
I spent about 2 hours trying to finish Spaced Out, that 5 coloured gem path drove me up the fucking wall!
Stormy Ascent will shatter your mind.
JRPG I just got the game today and did it on my third try
chain reventon Now try get gold relic and see how you do.
UA-camaccount177 I already got gold it so easy to get
Yea I got platinum first try, also only played with one hand.
When I replayed The Road to Nowhere to get the gem, I only lost maybe 2 lives.
would be fun if you can design a level like super mario maker with bandicoot
The Hog stages are easy the only stages I got platinum on.
Me: pshhh I’ve been playing platformers since I was 5. It can’t be that hard
*gets to Road to Nowhere*
Me: %##%^#^*€>%%}#!!!!
I had to listen to Angry video game nerd while playing this
Jacob Johnson AAASSS!! FUUUCCKK!!
Area 51? Is actually the easiest race level for me
I think the first bike lever is easier, but yeah, Area 51? is not the hardest one by far...
ikr? i got the plat relic on my first try too
"Road Crash" is the hardest of all four bike levels.
Road Crash and Orange Asphalt are worse
I've been on the high road for 5 hours and I still failed to complete it yet. And out of those 5 hours, I only managed to make it to the end twice... not meeting the required time limit. The most painful level ever for me.
Your nuts will drop afeter playing the High Road. Welcome to man-hood.
Now we have Stormy Ascent to increase the rage :)
It’s called Slippery Climb because of how sweaty your hands will be while playing it
And the other one is called Stormy Ascent because it will make you storm with rage
The Lab has actually been made easier in the remake, e.g. less green "blobs" during the double-electric-fence section.
The lab is easier in the original crash bandicoot game.
The proplem is getting the Gemes Not the Levels
"You have to be SURGICAL with your timing." LOL XD
Life feels great now that i got a gold relic on Slippery climb, The lab, The High Road, Road to nowhere and Native Fortress.
You are a god than. After seeing the shear brutality of Native Fortress, the idea of platiuming the first game totally disappeared.
Happy Kuriboh Someone I know completed the first game 100%, when he finally got the relics and stuff in Slippery Climb, he was on the break of insanity. ;-;
I'm Sorry. Bee Having or Diggin It aren't on this list? DA FUQ?
How the hell does Hog Wild get on this list but Bee Having or Diggin It don't?
Fireboy I agree, Bee-Havin' is way harder than two or three of the levels on this list.
the list was about difficult levels, not easy ones
High Road: I am the inevitable!
Stormy Accent: Well, I am Stormy Ascent!
Slippery Climb Red Gem: Well, I have to be done in one go!
Based on my true story
The High Road was the easier bridge level. I'm stuck on Fumbling in the Dark. How the fuck do they expect you to make the jumps onto the moving platforms when the fucking light never stays on ?! I literally just rage quit the level.
its called "go faster."
Zeroshiki you have to go really fast in that level but at the same time be patient it's hard a little.
And you can't get hit
The Joker Devil Jdiablo The Jersey Devil yeah that too
Fumbling in the Dark may be hard in the remake, but it’s actually 100x easier than in the original.
Imagine that same level, but you have slightly lower traction, shorter jumps, higher falling speed, and you can’t die at all in the level to get the box gem. That’s the original. In my opinion, that was the hardest level in the original, although in the remake, Slippery Climb holds that title.
What about Toxic Waste? Everyone hates that god damn level.
No only plumber boy mustache man finds toxic waste hard. Toxic waste is not hard and toxic waste is my favorite level.
But we can all agree the music for that level is fucking badass
Easier in the PS4 version because the bouncing barrels only bounce on the dark spots on the floor!
MAYFLY01 toxic waste is the easiest colored gem as the level is very short
Stormy Ascent and Future Tense are the only hard levels in the entire trilogy, especially if you are a completionist.
Can you skip future tense?
Stormy ascent
Yup!
Good Luck (You're gonna need it.)
franko brahamabeats I somehow beat that level after a literal 5 hours of having my fucking ass handed to me.
Was not out when this video was made
First time I did it, I started the level with 99 lives.
How is Cold Hard Crash not on this?
The swearing beeps in Spaced Out cracked me up.😂😂 but so right.
I think its funny how everyone is complaining how “hard” every level is on the first game remastered. Yeah try beating every level without dying on the original. Smh
I thought the high road was difficult, then I tried it on time trial
I love you you didn’t censor the “Fuck the high road”!!!
They now added stormy ascent
what about rings of power, it is the only one in warped i can't get a platinum relic on
Now I don't remember that level being hard in the original
its fucking shite. Area 51? was easy too
Steven That level is easy as hell, just cause you can't get a perfect time trial doesn't make that level hard, it's still laughably easy to finish, just like all of Crash 3
it's a hard level just to finish in first, and crash 2 is by far the easiest.
Steven yes to get the relic its easy af but to win in first place its hard and I beat Crash 2 in only one day
I agree except for the “Road to Nowhere” one.
That level was relatively simple, instead you should’ve included “Sunset Vista”
How is cold hard crash not even on the list....
"I know you can use the ropes but try and do it consistently *grumble*"
Well um... not to be a show off but i did do it consistently. So. Yeah.
TSMT me to but to be honest I never knew you can use the rope in that level I thought you would fall off
Super sayian Jay Had the same thought as you really, i'm so glad that I used the rope in that level, or i would've been more angry than what i was
Zooms in to Uka Uka's face. "Is a F%CKING LIAR." Hilarious!
Damm i was expecting the great Hall as number one
YOU PUT HOG WILD ON THIS LIST BUT NOT DIGGIN IT OR COLD HEARD CRASH!?!?!?!?!? DID YOU EVEN PLAY THIS!?!?!? OR ARE YOU JUST MAKING THIS TO ECHO-CHAMBER FOR THE COMPLAINERS?!?!?!?!?
I HATE THE LEVELS WHEN THERE IS SOMETHING RUNNING AFTER U AND U HAVE TO JUMP OVER THINGS AND AVOID IT ITS SO FRUSTRATING AND I JUST WATCH TO BURN MY SWITCH WHEN THEY CATCH UP TO ME
5:39 something Jontron would say😂😂
6:51 Thank god I'm not the only one
I noticed that most of these difficult levels are from the first Crash Game.
Ya It seems like the hardest of the original 3
The hardest level I've played is Road to Nowhere. It took me at least 75 tries. Maybe more...
I've made it past the road to nowhere without a game over. However the high road already gave me 3 without making it to the first checkpoint.
