I've only been flying just a bit over a year. I went to my first Oshkosh in 2018 and it was just wonderful. I hope to go again. Kudos to you 4 flying into the busiest airport in the world.
I am 51 years old and have been seriously considering getting my PPL. I used to fly fairly often with my Father and his brothers when I was young. I took a couple official flying lessons with my Uncle (who was a CFI) when I was a teenager. I did not have much money at the time, so I shelved the lessons. Then life happened. Got married. Had kids. I feel like I should carry on the legacy of my late Father and his brothers. :)
Meanwhile, 2500 pilots at Fisk are cursing because they're stuck going around again...and again...and again... :) All part of the experience, nice job.
Raoul Cruz we saw him - maybe - probably actually - he saw us.... I don’t but last year 3 cubs crossed our path - 2 made it through and the third turned around ... crazy!
Just wondered why the "box" didn't call it out verbally. I heard it call traffic from the other elements in the flight. You turn off the voice callouts? You guys/gals? have this stuff figured out but, was wondering why the elements don't switch to 122.75 while enroute to give each other advisories on traffic and airspeed, etc and not clutter the 'air boss' freq. @ KUNU? Keep from 'stepping' on each other. Maybe it's not that big a deal? I'd call it high stress fun, anyway. :)
Gwen Walcott get on the cessnas to Oshkosh website - and post a message or send a message and tell them you’d like to get involved. And also start googling session is to Oshkosh groups because they’re always looking for pilots to join with and fly with that’s the best place to start. Now is actually the time to start sending messages because Oshkosh is coming up this summer
Enjoyed watching it. Thanks for posting. I surely hope that whine isn’t audible in the aircraft’s intercom/radio! Geeses I’d have to shoot myself if I had to listen to that!

Very nice! Thanks! That wasn't the FISK arrival that I could tell. Which arrival was it, if I may ask?
Randy M it was the Cessnas to Oshkosh mass arrival

@ 22:37 a Bonanza 200ft. above them. No call out from the 'TCAS'. Transponder on STBY on the Bonanza?
Raoul Cruz we saw him - maybe - probably actually - he saw us.... I don’t but last year 3 cubs crossed our path - 2 made it through and the third turned around ... crazy!

@ 22:17 is that the same aircraft?
Per the NOTAM for EAA, _ALL_ transponders are on standby once you get within range of KOSH.
This is the fifth time I've watched this.
what was the departure airport?
KUNU
I was looking for 87 Cessnas...really?
How do you get involved in something like this?

Who's the gentleman in the right seat with you and what is his reason for flying with you, if you don't mind me asking???
unless he is pic he needs to back off a little
elton cultice I figured it out by watching the early Vlogs, it's his instructor...
he supplies all the gum the pilot is chewing through like a chainsaw, looks like hes got a nervous habit.
tropicthndr makes for healthy ear drums - his. Not complaining on my end, ya gotta do what ya gotta do!
Can I join you in my piper next year?
I think Piper has their own mass arrival.. Check it out!
"Can somebody tell me what this knob does" 😂
Is it just me or, is the nose wheel spinning the entire flight.
Simon Dorothy it’s the reflection of the prop....

Your nose wheel will have a million miles on it between annuals
I love your video! I liked and subscribed. I just started my own flying channel. I would appreciate the support. See you in the sky!
Loose the gum!
