Hearing, “Good rock, good rock,” has got to be one of the most satisfying things you can hear in aviation.
We're safely down is right up there.
Been a pilot for 17 years, EAA member, commercial, instrument, airplanes, helicopters, and 17 year aircraft owner of 3 different aircraft, and I STILL Haven't had a chance to go to Oshkosh... every year I watch the radar tracks of the arrivals, and every year I say... "Someday." I envy those that have been every year for decades... for now, I just keep watching the arrivals on UA-cam (AirshowStuffVideos) and all the highlight videos that come out.... "someday" 😏

That back window and the small personal feeling and yet fairly sleek looking yes.But i am parcial i flew it alone and was never the same.

Gorgeous 150, great video! Personally, if someone was varying their speed that much, I'd probably ask him to keep his airspeed consistent, or to speed it up. Even though, technically, you're not supposed to.

nice nice vid butter .landing.. but Why no flaps? is it bc they want u keep up speed? aren't u allowed to use any flaps ? I'd do at least 1 notch.. i wouldn't care.. kinda way safer.. rly supposed to be full flaps Always on final to landing..right?.. but idunno maybe OSH is all different..?

Beauty 150. That’s one plane I could afford.
The plane is gorgeous! Deep down I think I always wanted to be a pilot. my parents took me to an airfield when I was a kid and I fell in love with planes at first sight. I don't know what happened that I just forgot about it I guess other interest but after so many years later it hits me like a ton of bricks. I got in to this Microsoft flight simulator and it has put me back in touch with that feeling again and in a big way To the point that it is ALL I can think about! I set and watch videos of anything aviation related and try to learn as much as I can. I know how much it cost to get my pilot license and I do have a job but just have too much going on to have to pay for and well yes do to a couple bad choices in life I am not able to get a better paying job! BUT never the less the dream stays alive and burning hot. I do have plans to try to make it happen but I am not that young any more and don't know if i could even pass the medical exam! to want something sooooo bad and stand just yards from a plane and to just gaze at it and wonder if i only could have done things differently I could be sitting in that plane right now! so if anyone that wants there pilot license and has the opportunity to get it and the passion for flying burns in you like dose in me then I say GO GET IT! and do not delay!

It sounded like tower initially said to aim for the orange dot, and then said land on the green dot. Did I hear that correctly?
Tower told him to aim for the orange dot when on his base turn and then the green dot for the touchdown point. So yeah you heard right 👍🏻

Any reasons for not reading back the ATC instructions during the approach and landing ?
