- There are tons of ways to die in Minecraft, each with a unique death message. But of all the death messages in Minecraft, which is the longest. Today we explore the weird ways to extend death messages; from switching languages to using Tamil and Arabic characters. I'll also briefly look at some illegal death messages that can't appear but are actually coded into Minecraft. I hope you enjoy!

A COUPLE OF THINGS TO NOTE:
1. Tamil is not the longest langauge (at least I don't think so) I meant the one that I noticed made longer words in the death message
2. You can use resource packs and mods to make custom formats for death messages, in theory making them longer.

Or you can also change the language files in the texture pack, which would probably result in an infinite amount of length for a death message, but the maximum length of String in Java is 2147483647, so that is probably the max. If there is no limit, then the length is theoretically unlimited, depending on the storage of your computer.

The reason the Tamil looks long is because the vowel characters which actually go over the consonants are written as a separate character with an empty circle underneath to signify where the consonant should be :)

@@eduardolarrymarinsilva76 it's because when u type one ur phone or whatever it can't fit all the types of letters in the keyboard, as the man mentioned. so when u type out the letters u type the letter and then the vowel but in some tamil cases the vowel sounds are written before as well as after the letter so it is very hard to give a 'voweled' version of every letter on the keyboard so just to make it simple the vowel sounds are just written after the said consonant

Just a small note, the “بسم" symbol is actually three letters, but the one you used on the sheep is actually a full sentence shrinked into a letter size, basically it means “In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful”

"Doomed to fall" isn't rare, rather, expensive. Here's a 4 step tutorial:
Step 1: Buy an Xbox 360 (300 USD)
Step 2: Buy Minecraft for Xbox 360 (20 USD)
Step 3: Lure a mob to a high altitude then allow it to knock you off the ledge

I can not guarantee that this will always work. There's definitely other versions that have this message but Legacy was the only one I could find it in.

It can be longer; the MVP and Admin titles before a character's IGN make it only a few brackets and letters longer albeit, but it stretches it to 32, 285 with the highest pre-name title that I know

years ago, back on legacy edition on ps3, i was playing the new "Fight" gamemode mojang had added. it was just a console version of hunger games. i remember this random guy fell off into the lava at the bottom of the crucible map whilst fighting me, and he died and the chat said "player died to game" or something like that. it basically couldn't recognise what entity had killed him, so it said that the game had done it.

But, if not happening natrually, for example using command blocks will not work, but happening natrually could possibly show up. It will not work.
Using long characters from different langauges, could increase the possibility of it happening though.

Interesting video, but I have a few things to add:
1) ASCII doesn't have arabic letters, it has only English letters, numbers, punctuation and control characters. You are referencing Unicode, which is based on ASCII but extends it to pretty much every script on earth(plus a few dead scripts, ligatures, diacritics, math symbols and more). The character you reference is an arabic ligature.
2) Using multiple commands you can modify the pillager's name or the name of the weapon, making both of them 30,000+ characters. Looking at your chat there are ~40 characters on each line, which means that the two names will be together 60,000+ characters and take at least 1500 lines.

also you can just summon a pillager with an even longer name that can pick up items, drop it an insanely long name crossbow with another command block and it's good to go
So are you able to spawn a custom named pillager giving it a 30,000 character name, and then use a /execute command block to give him a crossbow with a 30,000 character name? Is there a method with the execute command to do that?

Quick notes: “Player was doomed to fall” happens when you get hurt by something and then die from a more-than-5-block fall. “Player was killed by even more magic” appears as a crash prevention if a death message is too long, however it is unconfirmed as Phoenix SC summoned a creeper with 1 million characters but it did not display the message. It may also occasionally appear in its raw form, “death.attack.message_too_long”.
