yeah especially the Grate version with an "Iron Bars" version if you will cause honestly I wanna building something of an Early 80s industrial Era building with Working Progress buildings with the Beams and such which honestly the Copper Grate does achieve but it more fits to an "Abandoned" one more than a Still Work in progress if that makes sense.

This already doesn't happen with any waterlogged block. So I do not expect them to do this.
Especially because the Devs already tried doing that for the 1.13, but due to many problems and programming nightmares they didn't do this.

It would not work if its a conventional staircase as it seems like a rotation about horizontal axis, a stairway would most likely would have other stairs that would block this rotation atleast partially. So instead you can put a chair in your house that had a hole below it.

Completely unrelated to the video but I find it interesting that the Trial Chambers are made of both Tuff and Copper and those two block types have gotten golems in previous mob votes. And this year’s Minecraft live hinted at old mobs returning. Perhaps they are planning to bring them back?? (Also the copper golem works well with the “tinkering” theme for this update)
