So glad you shared your special needs stepdaughter…so sweet it touched my heart cause, I had a special needs brother for 65 blessed years and I have a special needs granddaughter who is 27. They teach us so much love, kindness and patience. I am so blessed because of the blessing they have given me. You are a special channel to me on so many levels.❤️Marilyn from Michigan
Linda that’s why I love you, so much fun you talking to the witch.🧙the broken frame you can put a new glass in it. You had too much fun on your trip shopping. Some days you win and someday not. Loved you every video.
Isn’t Fall just the best season EVER? I live for this time of the year and everything it brings……since I was a child. Winter is my second favorite……I know most folks like Spring/ Summer…..not me. I walk outdoors year round and enjoy it MOST in the Fall/Winter months….PS I love your choice of music ❤️
I love your videos! Thank you! But let me say I LOVE your gift for your daughter! It is beautiful. When you find something that is meaningful to the recipient they know you love them.
OMG Linda! You are a whirlwind shopper but I was in awe of you unpacking your car. Just like a magician pulling scarves out of a hat you just kept pulling treasure after treasure out of your car. Just when I thought you were done you pulled out something else. It was wonderful! I hope you have a delightful week! Linda ( who watches your videos every week.)
Linda, thank you for sharing your Special Needs Step Daughter with us. I have a 29 yr old Special Needs Son and I always appreciate when people recognize them, treat them with love, and respect. ❤ Your adventures are always so wonderful to get to watch and feel like we’re a part of them. You have such spectacular finds and the fried green tomatoes looked scrumptious. I live in the South, but was born and raised in the mountains and farm country in Ohio and my Mom made the best fried green tomatoes. I have had many different versions of the fried green tomato living in Georgia, but none were as good as my Mom’s.❤ Thank you for taking us along to experience the New England life. Maybe someday I will get to see New England, one can hope. God Bless❤❤❤
Oh, my! I REally loved this episode. The approach of Autumn with the exhilaration of a welcome change of the season and the coming holidays makes me giddy. I can't select which one of your thrift/consignment store finds is my favorite - they're all delightful.
Wonderful finds, Linda! Especially love the fencing, clever idea. I have four small plates that match your pheasant bowl, they are out and I love them. Don’t you just think fall is wonderful, all the beautiful moody colors! I can’t get enough. Happy decorating, looking forward to more!
I just thought we had good thrift stores where I live. Yours outshine ours. Beautiful items to choose from there. Love watching what you find and how you use them. I love your "break it-buy it" frame. The owls are wonderful.
The rustic gates were a nice Autumn touch. Good plan. Your “thrift” shops are top notch. The few in my area are primarily junk stores. The hotel silver is very pretty. I picture in my mind ladies from a century ago, in their fine dresses and hats, having lunch at a hotel and using these items. Wondering what Willow thought of “Matilda”. I live in the South, so Autumn comes late for us. I am very tempted to have a house in NE, and also keep a condo here to enjoy both regions. We are blessed to have a very, beautiful country with so much natural variety and charm. Thanks, Linda. Have a good week.
Hello Linda, What about ADDING to your Witches Name...."GRANDMA (Old Lady) MATILDA"!!!? "User-es9mb8wi3m" above asked "Wondering what Willow thought of Matilda?" That's a perfect WITCHY name, what do you think? "Grandma Matilda or The Old Lady Matilda" You Step Daughter sounds so sweet! Thanks for sharing!
I love the Wayside Inn it has such a cozy vibe in the fall especially if you are in a room with one of the fireplaces. I going there next week to meet some friends for lunch!
Linda as a fellow New Englander I’ve got my mums, pumpkins and my traditional Fall decor out and in my home. I love the New England tradition of decorating for Fall and I so much enjoy seeing what you do for Fall decorating in your home! Love your witch. She’s great! ❤
I saved my Fall and Halloween boxes to open this weekend and I just wanted to say "Thank You" for all the special gifts inside your beautiful boxes! And some of them will certainly make great gifts and a few I will keep for myself as a birthday treat! Wishing you a Happy Fall Season! 🍂🍁🍂
Such a fun video. I love that I also learned some things. Thank you for making my Sundays a bit more special. I take an hour or so just for me, before the day starts. The witch is so cool. :)
Wow! Love this video. So much fun to watch what you bought. I love your Lady witch. LOL I'm so jealous of your garden basket find! Looking for one also. I would love if you could share some spooky stories again. it was so much fun to listen to your ghost stories. You make holidays a joy. Thank you for sharing! ☺
I love the new witch. When you 1st showed her, I thought that she would look cute in the window seat holding a pumpkin. Does she scare Willow! I always love seeing your new treasures, project plans, and adventures!
I had no clue fried green tomatoes were a Northern thing! My word you do learn something new every day. They are my favorite way to eat tomatoes. I love that garden baskets. I don't think I've ever seen anything like that before. What a find Linda🍁🍂
I have had a witch that has the same look as yours. I bought her in a mountain town here in Colorado and I love her. Mine is holding a green frog with a crown. I get such a good feeling when I bring her out every fall.
The fence is a real charmer 🤩 A friend of mine has an old sealskin top hat, leather gloves, and a pipe on her entry table at Christmas displayed with an old copy of A Christmas Carol. It's a nod of course to Charles Dickens. I love literary references in decor.
Matilda the witch 🧹 Your lovely step daughter already named her but Matilda was my first thought. Ehat a lovely home you have and I enjoyed the video ❤❤
Lovely video Linda. The little fence looks great! I love the reflection in the kitchen window of the sky and the mountains, so pretty. Yes, that piece is perfect for your daughter ☺️. Have a good night. 🕊️🧡
Oh, and thanks for the tour of the Wayside Inn. My mother and I were frequent visitors when we wanted to take a Sunday drive. Haven't seen it in 50 years. Sigh.
Your videos are so relaxing! I love to watch them on weekends when i have some time to myself and i can enjoy a nice cup of coffee or tea. 😊 You have officially made me excited for fall!
Linda, I love the way you shop! Being from Fairfield County Connecticut I was particularly taken by your Shelton asket item. I thought it might actually be a cane to steady an elderly prerson but no, their brochure"F calls the tiem a "flower stake basket". Shelton Baskets dates back to Columbia CT, In 1911 the company moved to Shelton Connecticut I found a drawing of the Flower Basket you have in a product brochure dated 1920. By the 1960's the company was sold to an American Indian;s and moved to Wisconsin where raq mageriala qwew moew availabe. Modern day Shelton is a center for many well known American Companies' Headquarters including but not limited to: Bic Corporation, Sperry (Top Siders) Hubbell, Turner Construction, Kelly Services and I know that's more than you ever wanted to know! Have a great week with Grandma Matilda!
Hello Linda, Some of the things you do get me laughing as I often do the exact same things, such as hanging the wreath out side without getting the ladder, ordering from Amazon, "what the heck did I get?". You are so much fun and I learn so much from you. Thank you so much for sharing your yourself, family home, and Willow. Warmest regards, Carol, Nutley, NJ
This was such a fun video!!! I love the witch too! What a fun find. I loved the wreath and rake too! It was really a treat to see how you are using your finds.
Linda, so excited to see your visit to the Wayside Inn. Just by happenstance I tuned into to your video on our anniversary (Oct 7 - 47 years) and I was just delighted to see the venue for our wedding featured! We left Massachusetts and have been in the Bay Area since 1979 but I am still holding the note from the Inn gifting us with a free bottle of champagne on an anniversary visit. Your videos remind me why I love New England. I so admire you.
I was thrilled when you pulled out that double pheasant plate from The Victorian English Pottery. I stopped the video, got a chair to climbed up my cabinet to verify that I have several of those plates, too! That fencing and the "broken" glass owls picture are my favorite Your Finds of the Day.
Oh Linda I love to watch you shop in these stores. Was a part of my life I just loved as you never knew what you would find. Now though I am not allowed to drive through eye problems. I really miss those shopping days. Enjoy Linda. I really enjoy your home and your UA-cam content. Hugs from Australia. ☺️🙏🏼🍷
Hello lovely Linda, I truly enjoy you and your channel. I lived in Boston for 5 years and had the Time of My Life! My dear Mother collected, refinished and treasured keepsakes of the past. Some of my best memories with her, I was young, but loved being part of her endeavors to restore the local Museum! Btw…time stamp 9:44 silver bowl-Bolt Rope design (Nautical Type of Rope) especially from your area on the Eastern Coast. She wrote “Sugar” but I would suspect jelly or preserves, as most sugar bowls from the era hand two small handles; hence the cream & sugar also featured. The “Twisted Knife” would be cradled on the face of an elegant, footed, silver butter dish with a lid, inside is a silver tray that holds the butter, and ice is stored in the lower chamber of the bowl to keep it cold. The feet lifts the butter dish off the table. The handle faces you and the blade lays flat, facing upwards. (I have a full set in my China Cabinet). It’s so regal! So beautiful! Etiquette & Manners back then, were crucial and added to the “social status” of the family. It was imperative and a very intrical attribute in socializing and being esteemed by peers. Bringing family, friends, and colleagues into the heart of home, generated close-ties and relations. There’s nothing more profound than a delicious meal served with utmost elegance. It calls for endearing admiration, respect and love!🤍Please use your treasures, so they become memories for the next of kin. Thank You Mother for everything! And thank you 🙏 for Sharing!🕊️🤍🪽ps…is the top hat made of Beaver? Looks like it.
A nice visit with L8nda is the perfect way to start a Sunday! I love that you had your sweet daughter provide the name for "Granny Old Lady Witch," and she I'm sure loves helping you out with this task! I'm rolling into Fall myself this weekend. Have a lovely day Linda!

Just found you, 🎉yay! I live in a 1820 Greek Revival my second d old house of my 70 years. My first was an 1810 Federal, my life was spent acquiring all the things appropriate for those homes. I feel so lucky to have been able to preserve the past. Three grown children all grown with their own homes and with all my collecting they were able to fill their homes. I have a three hundred year old tree that the original well has grown right around it. So very cool, I look forward to checking out all your videos this fall. I still want the good Queen beds.

I love Carla's videos also, you two must have so much fun together. Wanted to say, I love my fall box, especially the adorable little glass pumpkin. Happy fall! 🧡🧡🧡
Hi Linda! The silver “twisted knife” I inherited from my grandparents was known as the Master Butter Knife. People would use it to portion butter to their individual bread plates from a main butter dish and each place setting would then have a “flat” butter knife to use to butter rolls; bread etc.
I wish this lady was my next door neighbor so we could shop and decorate together. What fun.
I too! Have mentioned to Linda a ways back. She truly is my kind of personality.
Me too🤗
Occasionally having coffee in that beautiful kitchen would be heaven.
@@MarilynDean-i5b I know~~I’d go for that!! 🎃🎃🌞
