Queen: the only band that can make rehearsals into mini concerts.
Oskar Schlangengift True, Very Very True :)
Agree with you. Janique from France
Love this band.
I know Michael Jackson isn't a band, but he had good rehearsals too
That's why they were the best ever..they truly cared how they sounded..pure perfection they were! To be the best rehearsals are mandatory..Thank You Queen for being the best band ever!!!
I would have bought a ticket to their rehearsals.❤️👑👑👑👑
Perfect comment 😉
I would, too!
@@ActionMediaProductions but thats just a small thing but u would buy a ticket just for a freaking rehearsal??
@@lorellariccetti3827 DAMN STRAIGHT Thank You 🫶
When Freddie beckons Brian away from the pyrotechnics at 1:06 just go to show what good friends they all are. Friends Will Be Friends!
Love that. 😊
Daniel Blatch That was funny hahahah
So true
they are family ❤️
Even if they weren't friends he'd have to be a bit of a douche to let his guitarist get blown up in rehearsal lol
The guy who captured this is a genius. Priceless.
This ENTIRE band was a gift to us. They were all so talented, professional, amazing! They all wrote hits. And they stayed together, all original members, so cool.
MeAndMercury love how they were there for Freddie during his final years. Yes they were devastated when Freddie told them he had AIDS and didn't have much time, but they were there for him and protected him. Roger said him, Brian and John felt that they were going to help with whatever pain and suffering he was going through by being there for him and working with him. They said it helped Freddie knowing he had them there. My love and respect has no bounds when I think about it. Some idiots have said ' they were lucky he didn't infect them by being near him or touching.' I'm like wtf seriously?!?!? Do some damn research before making statements like that.
They are legends and legends never die
Freddie was absolutely in top form during these rehearsals. Damn.
Truth will Prevail. He would usually blow his voice on rehearsals 😂.
(Birmingham third night 1984, and the Rio 85 rehearsal being examples)
Edwin Tapia true. Second rio was a mess.
This rehearsal is probably not actually from before Wembley, but from earlier in the tour. On the gigs immediately preceding Wembley, he was nowhere near as strong as he is here. Queen probably made the(smart) choice to market this as something casual fans would recognize.
TheBigHase not die but he had an idea he was not well
we will never see something like this again!!!!👑
Bloody hell, this rehearsal blows moern artists' sets out of the water. There will never be another Freddie, or indeed the rest of the band.
Melissa Race damn those moern artists.
@@truthwillprevail.7213 lol
@@truthwillprevail.7213 Lol
Even in rehearsal, this band is performing all out! Much respect. Missing you, Freddie. ❤️
Can you imagine the world without Queen? What a terrible thought!
@TheBigHase Grow up.
@TheBigHase ...
@@mads9270 He has a point though. I think what OP meant by Queen is that it includes the four original members, not current Queen with Adam Lambert.
@@gaminglegend Marc martel should replace Adam lambert
@@aaronkoeppe9057 - Still missing John. Marc would be an improvement but still not Queen without Deaky.
1:07
Saved by Freddie!!
Queens rehearsals are so much better than any other groups shows. Freddie always giving everything he’s got. There will NEVER BE ANOTHER FREDDIE MERCURY. 💔💔🔥🔥
Freddie was a perfectionist so he didn't just sit back and coast through rehearsals. I think most musicians would try to conserve their voices but not Freddie - he sings full out. Brian plays the guitar like he's already in front of an audience and Roger and John are consistently excellent!! Wow!
8:45 “my hair! My hair!”
A-ha-ha😂😂😂😂
one of the best singers in the world writing Mercury rest of the band Geniuses they blood an amazing life I said one of the greatest bands Freddie Mercury was amazing they bulb LED an amazing life they all LED an amazing like

Pure Talent.I love you Queen🤴🤴🤴🤴It's hard to believe that Freddie was gone it seems like he is still alive while watching all their videos.I can't get enough of freddie, his voice is so incredible❤️❤️❤️.A Legend!!!
Is this really a rehearsal? Wowwwww!!!! They play so great!!!!! My favourite band forever!!!!
The rehearsal looks like and sounds like really actual concert..the band was very serious thier job..in preparing for the audience..
Every concert of there band the stdium was always fully booked.
Always genuine concert no guest no extra singer...only the frontmn singing freddie and campany.
Nov.24th.was the 27th death anniv.of the great musician frddie mercury...still missed you...
still Watching nov.27th 2018.
(Sorry fr my english .)
This year 28 years since freddies passing. I'm seeing Queen+Adam Lambert perform in Australia next year.
1:06
(Freddie sees that Brian is standing in a dangerous place)
Freddie: (beckons him over)
Also Freddie: shoots lighting from his fingers xd
Best band on the planet
2:20 We witness the brilliant Deacy profoundly bouncing.
A true singer and one of the few bands capable of a Great live sound/performance! sometimes even better than their own studio albums. Such a powerful rehearsal indeed!
I totally agree, Andrea. I've got this DVD set and watch it often. :)
Andrea Milana it's really unfair to say this is one of the only bands who can achieve an amazing live performance

WHAT A SHOW - WHAT A REHEARSAL!!!!
How fn awesome!!! They even are wonderful in rehearsal. Freddie gives a show when there's no audience.
Watching this rehearsal footage is a bit like secretly peeking in at them. How wonderful that they were absolutely pros, ensuring their fans would “get what they paid for.” And that, my friend, is why they were and will always be, one of the best, if not THE best, at their craft. So practiced, so at ease with who they were as a team.
Thank you so much for all you’ve given us. Each generation will be able to enjoy a band popular decades ago! Amazing!
Freddie is movie around like a little boy in his element just happy to be alive. 7:49 I just love this so much.
Igual se movía el niño que hace de Freddie en el video The Miracle
👍💜💜💜
Oh such a lovely place in time for this amazing band, love all of it but especially Deaky supporting Freddie and being by his side, true friends, love it.
It is amazing that Freddie didn't blow out his voice from all the rehearsing!!!
Jan Hunt was just thinking the same thing
@@ActionMediaProductionsIs form june shows
Because this is June not July
The amount of legend is too damn high!
9:26 Disco Deaky enthusiastically bouncing around with his bass, proud of his song! ❤️ ❤️
He's the cutest thing lmao
The shoes Fred was wearing at this rehearsal (and wembley) are Adidas Hercules. It makes sense because he was made in heaven and to this day is regarded as a legend.
are those the wrestling boots his PA said he used?
@@ildeeartha yes
I got the Adidas Samba (very similar) because the Hercules isn’t available anymore...love my “Freddie shoes!!!!”
What a phenomenal song Freddie wrote. I love this so much.
2:48 watch how Deaky walks towards Roger’s kit so they end their final beats in sync. Brian always said the two of them played in perfect unity. So cool!
Victoria Jones - The bass and drums are the anchor of any good band and have to be bang on together as a foundation for the other instruments. Both are vital. Bass seems less flashy but take it away and it sounds awful. It takes skill par excellence to be as good a bass player as Deacon. Very melodic and played exactly what every song needed. Love Breaktrhu, Invisible Man, Millionaire Waltz ....actually all of his bass lines.
Good eye!
bass and drumms are rythmic section so that they must understand each other perfectly
Omg! 1:02 Roger isn’t just wearing black and white striped turtleneck he wore at Wembley but striped pants as well! He looks like he escaped from jail ! 😂🤣😂🤣
Lol. He looks funny.
I've admired Freddie & Queen since 1975..I'm still floored when I listen to them..especially love when Freddie plays that piano at the beginning of "Seven Seas of Rhye"..simply magnificent!! Yes, class act, thru & thru!!!
Incredible! Love how Freddie looks out for Brian with pyrotechnics. 😀
10:28 Love this 1979-1982 phrasing!
That's great but that's unacceptable for a rehearsal
@@shahaffiq5860 Haha what?
@@ThorSuzuki1 Freddie turned the rehearsal into a mini concert and that's no good. He should've just lowered the notes.
@@shahaffiq5860 He was probably hyped up, nothing wrong with that. His voice was still in top shape at the early shows and i dont think singing concervative here would have saved his voice for longer.
@@ThorSuzuki1 go and hear 1984 Freddie where he wasted his voice into rehearsal and in the real show he couldn't hit the note.
Wow .how dedicated the queen is even during rehearsals.
Just moved away off stage during the Bohrhap just like they would perform live
Amazing 😍😍
Lots to learn for the nextgen
There are no such legendary bands today.
That's a really strange statement. They weren't legendary back then, but they are now. Same with Zeppelin. I don't understand what you mean
None I can't think of or listen to anyone today....Queen was the last of an elite era..
@@tatianaroveda What are you talking about? You have Metallica, ACDC, Guns n Roses, and a plethora of other "legendary" bands still around today.
@@holdingtonfarley4444 but they were all founded in the last century
Music is too diluted these days. So many types of media outlets, so many independent sources. I don't think these kind of bands will ever be recreated in today's music scene. Led zep, pink floyed, the who, stones, queen, guns and roses etc just would not work these days.
7:57-8:02 LOL Freddie :D I love him sm!
Love when Queen just play.. no synths just the four of them they are magnificent raw and full of energy.
They had a keyboardist since 1982, the first was Morgan Fischer, the second was fred mandel and from 1984 to today it is Spike edney.
@@TF2403 i know that...but not here its just them
@@ForgottenHorrorchannel Actually you can hear Spike as well
@@mi2542 Where??

Queen banging out a few songs in a rehearsal is better than most artists nowadays.

Thirty years since he's passed and I still get chills hearing the opening notes to Bohemian Rhapsody. The greatest male singer in Rock and other disciplines. What a loss to humankind.
I miss Freddie..😢😢😢😢😢
We all do
I miss him too
Who doesn't
even rehersals are worth selling tickets to. Unique!
😄😄I agree
3:20 Freddie can’t help but strut and pose even at rehearsals. The man was born to it!
Gotta love him.
Man! What i would give to seen them live!
Boy oh boy he liked to move around the stage even in rehearsals... he loved his work
one of the greatest history of classic Rock ever
What a shining, stunning piece of rock history right here.
I absolutely love videos of Queen rehearsing. They are the only band whose rehearsal footage is as good as their live performances. They were the ultimate professionals - going all out even during routine rehearsals to perfect their live on stage shows.
Watching a rehearsal is a real treat. Very nice. Thanks for posting!!
Did you notice Freddie's piano is bare? No drinks on it.
I absolutely did not want that to end. I was totally immersed in it and felt as if I was dragged back to reality kicking and screaming!
All of these wonderful brilliant talented men are a gods gift to all of us.And they stayed with Freddie helping him along as sick as he was make music that says alot about these great artists.
Only Freddie Mercury can strut like a peacock 👑👑👑👑🔥💥❤️🔥 create Operas 🎶A true Legend
I'm incredibly sad that he died. He is perfect!! There will never be someone like him :(
Thank you God for giving us Freddie.
Ah Freddie , so good to see you again!!!
Oh my god, this is incredible to see them on rehearsals!!! Id like to listen what they say, the instrutions to the technicians, how they think all that historic day. I growed up listening to these songs, now Im a professional musician and I thank to Queen to improve my life with their music. Hugs from Argentina
The band was already in the pocket, tight. And Freddie?.... wow, what can you say that hasn't been said already....genius.
Una banda increíble y siempre en nuestros corazones el gran Freedy inigualable!!!!
This is pure gold! It’s the LEGEND in the making!! Feel fortunate to have seen this...so glad it was on tape. There is just nothing that compares to these guys’ talents and Freddie’s performing ability. Wish Freddie could have known what the consequences were for his sexual freedom...during that period...”flying too close to the sun” sums it up. Kudos to Roger and Brian for keeping their music alive in the 21st century! “Who wants to live forever, when everything you love has died”😞
How am I just now seeing this?? I wish they’d shown all of It’s a Kind of Magic. I love that song.
I love how they play for a rehearsal just like they would to an audience. Freddie can't be still once the music takes hold of him...and I'm loving Barefoot Brian!
Freddie & Roger turning up for work in their PJs
amazing freddie's "whatch out the pyrotechnics, brian! Hurry up!"
Amazing! real power in his voice
My God I love this band!!! Still rockin in 2019!!
Great Band. I love them! (19-05-2019)
This is why they blew everyone away at Live Aid. They rehearsed as if they were putting on a real show, in front of 100,000 people. I would have thought they'd do a little bit of each song, or Freddie would sing softer, so he could save his voice. Hard to believe he could practice like this, and still be able to sing for the real show. Especially when he smoked cigs like a freight train.
OUTSTANDING REHERSAL BY ALL. I WANT YOU TO ALL KNOW YOU ARE BY FAR MY FAVORITE BAND
I LOVE THESE videos ! You get to see the bands interaction
7:56 Gotta love Freddie💜

@@lalitasavardekar8192 - Lucky indeed. Saw dozens of groups. The Beatles were great (unfortunately they had such awful technology for their shows in the 60's so hard to compare), ELO, Stones...Queen was the best live act. I liked Deaky because he was so much more personable than people give him credit for, he sang more back up than we see in videos and live his bass just blew everyone off the stage.
