What you said at 8:13 is the bane of creative individuals such as yourself. Never let someone determine your own self-value. You are amazing at what you do and I'm amazed by everything you have accomplished. Tanks and Anime are dope af and I'm happy you mentioned resin printer because I was going to just get a regular ol 3d printer. Appreciate the video a ton and subbed!!
I definitely agree that it was great for a first run of it, and great to see you go all the way from the original file from Genshin all the way to detailing and posing, printing, and painting. Great job, hope you get into more of them; it was a great video to watch. Also, great paint job.
I know it’s not the focus of your channel, but i hope this isn’t your last video for making anime figures :’o! I’ve been meaning to do something like this for my favorite characters but wanted to know the process in a beginner’s perspective. This was really informative, also a great watch ^^!
I think this UA-camr is a real artist. The process of designing something in 3D and then making it into a real thing is not easy for anyone. You are really amazing! Subscribe and like
Tysm for this video! My favorite character barely has any merch, so I've been wanting to 3d print some fanmade figures made for her. You made me feel more confident ab starting the project
Thank you for posting this video! I have been having thoughts on printing my own figurines but I feel lost. Watching this video gives me inspiration to try.
It might be not that good, but it sure be the first and the unique figure in the world, i also want to try making figures like you, but im so nervous dual to the time, also the details, the 3d set up and printing,... but after watching your videos, i just have enough confidence to try, don't know if its will succeed or not, but it's definately worth to try, thank you for the video and good luck with your future projects !!! This is... really, really inspired me.
u definitely earned a like and subscription when you said "if you want me to do one for you, you can offer me $500 and I might reconsider" IS SO REAL LOL. Hillarious
It's such a pity that I found your video only now. When I started creating models for 3D printing on UA-cam there was almost no information about the full process. I didn't have a 3D printer. And I was very afraid when I posted the models. I always thought that people would have problems with their printing xD
Your video is very interesting, I laughed when watching it , and it helped me a lot in learning about 3D Figure printing. Hope you will continue to make more videos in the future.
You have been threatening waifus for ages, this comes at no surprise. Also yeah, something about lofi music that creates strong feelings with whatever images they are paired with, always hard to explain.
And yeah, watching you work on these is soothing and motivating. Given this channel isn't your job, go ahead and post whatever you like, no good if it is no fun. (Also helps i like the direction this is all going.)
People often lie and say you shouldn't compare yourself to others, but you absolutely should. Without competition or inspiration, you become stagnant and weak. Bad artists never improve because they never seek to, but good artists at any skill level are good because they improve over time, honing their skill. Look to those you view as your betters and learn. Iron sharpens iron. Never stop improving.
Hello eveeyone, as a small chanell and a fan of Nim, I keep his cardboard tank years in my channel, I made not or request crwation to make from him. Im not here to get views, im here to really appreciate his talent like you and me, or even all of us.
Just stumbled across this video, honestly, i kinda want to give 3D printing another try. I've stuck with traditional sculpting since I had a not so fun experience learning blender and printing and it kinda burnt me out.
Aww man, fear and laziness are two most universal human characteristics. Whatever you find interest in, you will find others with the same interest. You should've had the thought of bringing new viewers to the channel. Cuz I would've never found you...
7:52 - 8:30 To be honest Nim. That's what I exactly went through for 4 years if I wanted to post anime content on my channel and knowing how the audience would react and see. But it's whatever of what you make and post online.
I don't care if you make anime stuff cause I still enjoy your videos if they are army men, tanks, modelling, creating anime characters or history videos
lovely video! for resin prints i like mr super clear or tamiya primer :) please always work in a ventilated area and wear a respirator, you don't want paint in your lungs! unless you like painting your lungs, hmm?
Hi! This looks so awesome! I tried it aswell, the posing was nice but how did you covert the model to a solid object? I would be sooo thankful of you would help me😢😊
I am going through the exact same process and your video is very informative and encouraging. Dumb question: could we just print the whole figure directly instead of printing each part?
I did have fitting issues, but you can sand pieces down to make them fit better. If you need help, maybe message me on Instagram and I might be able to help out!
Which model of resin printer do you recommend for printing anime figures? I am still new to 3D printing. Can you print 1/4 scale figure on your own printer by the way?
I think any resin printers works really, I do have a video reviewing one on my channel. 1/4 figures are large and you could possibly print one, but you’d need a larger resin printer, one with an 8k screen. You’d also probably want to print more parts with a FDM printer if you’re doing 1/4 scale.
500 dollars? You can get good quality straight from Japan. I don’t like the negative stigma behind collecting anime figures or any figures as an adult. I’m in my 20s and wanted to get some figures but being living with family I never get any they make fun of me when I watch anime. I started watching anime in my late 15 teen years even then everyone made fun of me. Now I moved out I will try to get 3d printer they’re kinda expensive in my country
Bro, for a newbie you are damn good, thanks for inspiring others, i cant wait to establish my first Anime Figure
Thanks for the support!
I love watching people do new things. It gives me confidence to try new things.

good for you dude im happy you made this video no shame in making what you love!

YOU ARE AWESOME. The figure looks insanely good!
Tysm for this video! My favorite character barely has any merch, so I've been wanting to 3d print some fanmade figures made for her. You made me feel more confident ab starting the project
You have inspired me that it’s okay to like fantasy medieval stuff and army men stop-motion.
Please make more genshin figures! This came out so great!!
Thank you for posting this video! I have been having thoughts on printing my own figurines but I feel lost. Watching this video gives me inspiration to try.

this video is so satisfying, love your work
Would be interesting to see a part 2 to make a lithophane background print to replicate the lofi thumbnail look
Your so talented
This was awesome.
Came out good. Cant wait to see the next one.
The genshin bg music and ur voice combination is perfect
Mihoyo needs to hire u❤
@Nim Productions Turn the tiny legs into an ultra scuffed Shiteyanyo, the more cursed the better.
This is amazing! Thank you for making this video, it's very valuable for us who want to follow your steps! Keep crafting man!
The reason he quit cardboard tanks and stuff the flak 88 gave him PTSD
It's so lovely and adorable! Hope to see you making more Genshin figures :)
Great... now this channel is gonna make me invest in a 3d printer and do the figurines myself. ^_^
03:18 : Your mum walks in "Are you winning son?"
Wow! You did it!! Looks so good!!
love your energy and passion to complete this Barbara Figure. Hope you make another Genshin characters!
u definitely earned a like and subscription when you said "if you want me to do one for you, you can offer me $500 and I might reconsider" IS SO REAL LOL. Hillarious
Thanks for video. You're awesome. I'm totally noob too on 3D modeling. You're my inspiration
Any chance you could do a tutorial on how to refine and cut up models for 3d printing?
7:59 just got jumpscared by my fav character (mitake ran on the right)
but anyway im a year late but this video was so wonderful!!!
thank you for making this video despite not having a ton of experience. i now have some motivation to do the same.
This video was actually quite enjoyable 👍🏻

FOR FREE?? YOU ARE SO NICE FOR THAT!!
Not bad for your first try! Watching you made me remember my own beginnings more than 17 years ago with all the trials and errors 😂

Thank you for this comment. I agree wholeheartedly
this video was beautiful
Dang you just explained my taste. I love anime and military stuff but i can't say that i love anime because its a little bit embarrassing
personally i think sculpting is harder than standard modeling but maybe it's because i don't have any experience with it

thanks for the video! thats was very usefull!
damn, that's beautiful
We need more stop motions
What's that rubber thing that you use to stick the figure to a holder/box? E.g. 12:40 and 13:44
“Nim honey, I dusted your figurines today… why are they so sticky???”
real
Aww man, fear and laziness are two most universal human characteristics. Whatever you find interest in, you will find others with the same interest. You should've had the thought of bringing new viewers to the channel. Cuz I would've never found you...
bro changed his content reall quick

Nice to hear your experience as well, take care!
@@NimProductions so long man.
hi
Hey! What supports did you use when printing?
i miss the old nim where he did the war story or somting
wow, this is amazing.
Wow, that looks really nice!
What u meant by converting it to a solid object...how does it work? 3:25
Nice
I don't care if you make anime stuff cause I still enjoy your videos if they are army men, tanks, modelling, creating anime characters or history videos
What can we expect next Nim?
My biggest fear its the balance of the figure, how can i be sure that it wont fall?
Put a base and/or do a test with a tiny version of the print, something like 3 cm tall
how did u solidify your character? I am trying to make a yoimiya figurine. thanks!
Use the Remesh feature in sculpting. But make sure the parts are enclosed. I may do a more in-depth tutorial if people are interested!
@@NimProductions Thanks! I'd be great if you do!
Weird how Nim went from kids content creator to cardboard tank creator to anime figure creator.
lovely video! for resin prints i like mr super clear or tamiya primer :) please always work in a ventilated area and wear a respirator, you don't want paint in your lungs! unless you like painting your lungs, hmm?

Hi! This looks so awesome! I tried it aswell, the posing was nice but how did you covert the model to a solid object? I would be sooo thankful of you would help me😢😊
You can selected the posed model and export it as an STL, hope this helps
omg i thought the new video was a stopmotion
8:04 lisa imai spotted
I am going through the exact same process and your video is very informative and encouraging.
Dumb question: could we just print the whole figure directly instead of printing each part?
When you use the bin to print, did you have issues fitting it together because I had this issue and I don’t know what the solution is
I did have fitting issues, but you can sand pieces down to make them fit better. If you need help, maybe message me on Instagram and I might be able to help out!

Can I pay you for a figurine?
As a fellow weeb, I'm very interested in where your channel is going👍
NOOOO DONT ENCOURAGE HIM

15:43 💀💀
Can you open a new channel that upload when you make cute things because I respectfully have no interest in tank 😂
cool
Cardboard 5anks will be very missed. Especially since it's being replaced with weeb bs.
What should I do for the finish if I don't have a backyard?🥲
