The plot of people starving in Kingslanding because of the naval blockade is good until you remember that it's just an absurd convenience, since Kingslanding's main food source is the Reach, not Blackwater Bay.
Well Larys did kill lord Caswell for tring to run and the Caswells must a bit pissed bc of their lord getting killed so They might just stop food going to king's landing via the Rose road bc Bitterbridge (Bitterbridge is the seat of house caswell) is the middle of the Rose road so its not impossible.
The people starving is only an "absurd convenience" if one assumes the roads from the Reach to King's Landing are good enough, or safe enough, for large scale wagon convoys from across the country and ignores the fact that ships can move more freight than wagons. Almost every major city in this world and ours is near a coast for a reason, the logistics to sustain a city of 500,000 people cannot be met with wagons on unpaved roads.
@@ayoa1173 Literally what I'm saying is in the books and in the canon of the series, Kingslanding's biggest source of food has always been The Reach, and in Game of Thrones Renly and House Tyrell use that to their advantage by blocking the supply routes to Kingslanding to make people starve and turn against Joffrey, so what we see in HOTD is an absurd convenience. This. That hug should've been consolation. It should've been a few scenes after that where they maybe shared another hug and thought ''She kinda smells nice'' and got all horn-ey with each other.
it makes sense when you think of it like their relationship is built off of trauma bonds. like it started with their shared daemon trauma and is expanding to the stress over the war, their messy childhoods etc. vulnerable ppl seek comfort in various ways including sexual. plus they’ve been had sexual tension since they met, so it finally came to fruition at a particularly low point where they were both being vulnerable w each other and both feeling alone in the world

I genuinely loved Seasmoke claiming Addam. For once it seems the dragons in this series show some sort of agency, which for massive fire breathing intelligent beings, one would assume is more common than it is shown. I had another thought though. Seasmoke claiming Addam would actually imply that House Velaryon was a house of dragonlords. Because in the books, it was Rhaenys who made House Velaryon a dragon riding house. Since Addam and Alyn were Laenor's bastards, it made sense they had dragonlord blood. But in the show that's not the case. If they're going hard on the blood requirement for riding, then Corlys has Targaryen blood somewhere in his ancestry.
Simon has me doubtful. Something smells off. Every time Demon has an interaction of the supernatural king it is followed or is proceeded by Simon. Does he know more than he lets on?
The lannisters going to war with lions was not meant to display practically, actually the opposite. It’s meant to exemplify their overwhelming ego and also their cluelessness and inconsideration of traveling with ravenous lions that would need to be fed meat, a dwindling resource during times of war. The lord who they are going to stay with will be further burdened feeding 1000 men, and stupid lions. You can also see the people of kings landing begging for meat, they are fed up of fish, and you have the lannisters wasting meat on lions. The Targaryen’s feed their dragons a lot of meat, to the dissatisfaction of the common folk, but at least dragons are more practical in war than lions.
@CrusaderChris I like Aegon 2 and Aemond but they're REALLY macho and callow. Rhaenyra (And Alicent even though she helped caused this war), usually shows maturity, and, as for Daemon, hopefully he realizes that he needs Rhaenyra as much as she needs him!
In terms of why the riot scene went the way it did, Rickard Thorne probably just didn't read the scene well. He saw a crowd of people, not yet violent, and probably thought they could leave before things got bad since it was on holy ground. Nothing was actually pointing to danger, and probably still wouldn't have been dangerous had a dumbass kingsguard not cleaved someone.
Doesn't matter that Celtigars are Valyrian, only people with blood of 40 Valyrian dragonlord houses can be dragonriders, and the only dragonlord house which survived the doom of Valyria is Targaryen. So, you have to have Targaryen blood to bond with a dragon. Still, how much of that Targaryen blood you need is not clear: on the one hand Targaryens have incestuous marriages to keep the blood strong, on the other hand Rhaenyra thinks a drop of that blood might be enough, like with that poor guy who was burned in that episode. Alyn, who becomes a dragon rider in this episode, doesn't have very strong Targaryen blood either. Also, you literally have numerous former Valyrian colonies in Essos, they even speak Valyrian, so unless those 40 dragonlord families practiced celibate, there are bound to be some of their descendants there, but this has never came up in the books or shows I think.

What if they didn't misadapt anything...and the dragon isn't simply ranging on its own
It's weird that Mysaria trauma dumps on Rhaenyra and then she just kisses her, definitely a pattern....
Editing so good as always
ALSO THE CRICKET THAT STOPPED SINGING IS OBVIOUSLY AEGON HELLO
HOW COULD YOU MISS THAT
huge is hodors ancestor how is that for a theory
lol are you color correcting their eyes?
yep
Subbed. HBO it's lazy. This could have easily be done in post prod.
Not on IMDB Strong is my favorite Strong. Apparently in the books he fathers many bastards, Page not Found Rivers, 404 Rivers to name a few
