I discuss how periods are wild, my worst experience with a period (horror story really), how periods affect me and lots of other things! INSTAGRAM - / erinshoose
OH GUESS WHAT - I started one of the horror stories! Then I lay awake at night because I freaked myself out. Also, I spoke too soon, I was SO irritable yesterday, oops.
I can totally relate to feeling level headed when I get my period the week before I'm a mess and once it hits my emotions go down a couple notches it does get replaced by lower back pain and cramps tho lol
I do watch your period videos and Learn so much form them. I never really knew what a girl/woman goes through during their period it’s quite fascinating.
I get suicidal for a week to 10 days before my period. Then horrific pain and crazy...how did you call it, shining??? Horrible gushing blood. I get about a week of fairly good mood and energy to do daily tasks... then crying and struggling to survive for weeks... I’m glad you’ve recoded this....and that you don’t suffer like I do.
Reading about them as a do quite often (male curiosity). I learned more from watching ur period videos than I have reading. Due to the fact ur vids r on a more personal level instead impartial. Guess what I'm trying 2 say is thank you for making these vids.
This was so interesting! I have the complete opposite experience with my periods - I feel inspired and motivated during the follicular phase and increasingly low/flat/cranky over the course of the luteal. I used the coil for about 6 months and felt like I was in perpetual PMS mode, it was awful! PS, I absolutely love Shirley Jackson and I would highly recommend "We Have Always Lived in the Castle!"
Your femininity is beautiful. Your willingness to share details about your experience is priceless. I look forward to more on this subject, I need this. It has made me feel more mindful of a woman's nature, in the best way possible. Thanks Erin.
This was fascinating! I've learned a lot from you. I know growing up this was such a taboo subject, especially if you didn't have a period. The fact that there's still a stigma is nothing short of horrible! So I'm glad you're still talking about them! Really this is something everybody should know, since getting rid of the stigma is everybody's responsibility. Again, great video! Glad you're doing them! And of course, thanks for sharing this!
I loved this video! I loved the topic, and I loved the chatty, conversational nature of it. I've been meaning to watch your old period videos, but haven't gotten around to them yet, so this is the first one of those I've seen.
You are to periods what I am to diet - I put everything I ever feel down to what I’ve eaten, but I never even think about whether things are related to my cycle for some reason. I am trying to tune in a bit more lately though because I was on the pill for years too, and when I came off it I didn’t have periods for years, so only now do I feel like tracking things would be an accurate representation of my ‘real’ cycle. I really think these videos are brilliant, I needed to see this stuff when I was a teenager soooo baddddd! The period shits is something I’ve only recently heard people discuss and I’m so here for that 😅 You’re impulsive phase is brilliant - signing up for uni, class 😂 Maybe a video on all the impulsive things you’ve done in that phase would be funny. Thanks for making these!
I like all your videos including periods ones. It should be a very common topic. I'm like you, actual periods is a creative time. Luteal is "meh". Follicular is awesome amounts of energy, I wish it were the longest phase!

When I was with my ex girlfriend, I kept better track of her cycle than she did. I found it to be in my own best interest.

I always dread my time of the month. Could relate so much to this video.
Since I have been working from home my periods are so much easier to deal with.
I'd love to see some fun facts about periods that the general public may not know. Those always blow my mind :)
