You're right, we do enjoy a good chinwag! It's like listening to a friend tell you stories. Who doesn't like that? Also pulling people in to the water off a boat sounds actually terribly scary to me and i swim really well! Shew girl i woulda peed in that river if someone did that to me lol 😅

Your hen/stag dos look to be more fun than those in the states. It’s been a long time for me, but mostly ours consisted of heavy drinking and some adult entertainment(sometimes). You make a weekend out of it. That’s the way to do it. So when you go back to the rafting place, you’ll ask about the staring guy and find out it was a guide that there’s no one there by that description, but about ten years ago a young guide drown who matched the description exactly.

I did indeed enjoy watching another chit chat video. I haven't been on UA-cam in a couple weeks because my dad just went on hospice, and it was nice to come back and find that a lot of my favorite UA-camrs had posted chatty videos. It was nice and relaxing to come back to.
This one did give me a little anxiety to listen to, omg. I could not have handled that water rafting experience. I would have lost my sh** getting yanked back into the water suddenly like that! I'm so glad you had fun, though.

Hey Erin..... Hope ya going good. If you go whitewater rafting again and you feel cold when you fall in, just have a wee in your wetsuit, and you'll get warm. Another great video luvvy. Have a great time in Newcastle.

I’m not a very good swimmer either…I have recurring dreams of being swept away by a massive current in a river and then going over a huge waterfall that’s so high-up that I get that strange feeling associated with heights and fearful anticipation of a long drop…Plus, I nearly drowned at age 12 when a friend dared me to swim out to the middle of a lake while we were both hanging out at a public swimming spot/beach and I gravely-underestimated the massive undertaking…I got very tired and just lost the energy and my body nearly went limp when I was still in water that was over my head on the swim back to the shore…Like many who are on the [Autism] Spectrum, I’m very naïve and can very easily find myself being taken advantage of without even realizing it and if, say, somebody was behaving stalker-ish towards me, there’s a huge chance that I’d miss all the signals/cues and be completely unaware of anything inappropriate going on…For Example: To that strange guy who randomly asked you to remove his wet suit while you were changing, if I were in that same situation, I likely wouldn’t even realize anything inappropriate about the guy asking me to do that and without any questions, whatsoever, I likely would’ve just did whatever he requested without even beginning to sense anything odd…I just lack that innate ability that most people to have to be able to detect when something’s happening that’s weird…And if I’m ever faced with creepy situations, I’m often much less likely than most people to recognize the danger I might be in…For Example: If I’m walking around after dark in a very sketchy area, that’s most likely not gonna phase me as much as most people might be crept-out by the same thing…I just figure that if anything happens to me, oh well, it’s just my time…I’m just an insignificant person without very much of a life anyways and, additionally, I’m a somewhat hated/unliked person, so if something happened to me, eh, whatever…

By-The-Way: I’m friends with some deaf people who “Read” (meaning Watch with CC/Subtitles) your UA-cam Videos and one of them told me in an E-Mailed that they appreciate how some “Hearing” people, including Erin of the “BeautyCreep” Channel make their Instagram Video Content “Accessible” to the deaf & Hard-Of-Hearing…The fact that you’re making your Instagram Content “Accessible” is literally the only reason they’re able to enjoy your speech-based Content over on your Instagram…But if my friends are “Reading” your Video Content whilst I’m in the room with them, they always leave me the Remote Controller, so I can set the Volume levels where I want them (as my friends realize that I’m “Hearing” and rely on Audio as a valuable part of the experience of watching Videos, for as a “Hearing” person, I have a much easier time just hearing what a person is saying, as I’m just too lazy to read all that text and can just hear what people are saying anyways)…But I’ve recently learned something interesting about Closed-Captioning regarding people who were born deaf and have absolutely no idea what voices and speech sound like, they often need to allow themselves extra time to process Closed-Captioning to process them and reword them (in their minds) into the Grammar & Sentence Structure of Sign Language, which is apparently vastly different than the Grammar & Sentence Structure of Spoken English…So, for example, imagine if you were watching a speech-based Video without any sound but the Video offered CC/Subtitles but the sentences were all written in a different orientation, such as the person in the Video saying, “You Doing, How Are You All With It? Another Video Of The Something Different, Today We’re Gonna! Suggestions, Have You Any To Do? Storytime Of Another Happening, Today The Video I’m Gonna Have It! Enjoy It Hope You Can, The Video!” You’d probably be pausing the Video a lot…That’s a phenomenon nobody is to blame for; it’s just merely a minor “Language Barrier” between Sign Language & Spoken English…To combat that “Communication Barrier,” many Television Networks (which obviously have the money to be able to finance doing so) sometimes dedicate a small corner of the screen for a [Sign Language] Interpreter to translate the “Spoken Content” into Sign Language (instead of into Text)…That said, just as “Hearing” people (such as myself) often favor Audio over CC/Subtitles, because it’s so much easier to just hear what a person’s saying than to go through all the effort of reading all that text, most deaf people have an easier time observing Sign Language versus having to read a lot, but don’t mind CC/Subtitles because they’re “Better Than Nothing”…I don’t know any Sign Language, so I’m very familiar with the “Deaf & Hard-Of-Hearing Accent” but whenever I’m replying to my friends, I always need to put my replies into writing, because they lack the ability to Lipread (or, as I believe people in the UK would say, “Read Lip Patterns”)…My friends get very frustrated whenever people forward them Video links and telling them that they need to watch the Video because it’s very funny (and to let them know when they’ve watched the Video and what they think of it), but when my friends click on the Video they see a person talking but no Captions anywhere, and they have absolutely no idea what the person in the Video is saying, and then the person who sent them that Video link tells my friends (who are deaf) that they “Really Need To HEAR What The Person Is Saying To Get The Joke(s) They’re Telling”…My friends dislike that so much, because it makes them feel excluded and left-out, courtesy of their deafness, almost as though [either intentionally or inadvertently] many people’s Content is only intended to reach people who have the ability to hear…Then when the person who’d sent my friends the E-Mail asks my friends what they thought of the jokes in the Video, my friends ask them what the person said, noting that the Spoken Content in the Video is Inaccessible to them, the person who E-Mailed them just tells them that he’ll tell them later; one very universal pet-peeve of the deaf & Hard-Of-Hearing Community is when “Hearing” people say, “I’ll Tell You Later” (instead of repeating themselves and usually accompanied by a HUGE eye-roll and/or frustrated Body Language and/or Facial Expressions), because they realize that “Later” most often means “Never” in this instance…

My friend & I are both wondering whether you’re planning on having another Q&A Video soon and, if so, where you’re gonna allow people to ask you Questions (such as Instagram or Twitter)…As I’ve mentioned before, my friend will likely never have an opportunity to hear the sound of your voice or learn what your voice sounds like, and is completely unaware of your accent…You see, she’s 100% deaf and is also completely unable to Lipread (as not all deaf people can read lips) at ALL and she requires an ASL (American Sign Language) Interpreter to communicate with me (or, otherwise, we communicate via back-and-forth E-Mails & Text Messages); but she wasn’t born entirely deaf (but became so before ever watching your Videos), hence her familiarization to voices, accents, and pitch…My friend’s being 100% deaf but also 100% unable to Lipread causes her to be 100% dependent on CC/Subtitles to figure out what “Hearing” people say in their Videos…For Your Upcoming Q&A Video, My Friend Has A Question To Ask You…My friend (who’s 100% deaf, although wasn’t born entirely deaf) has observed that you’re based out of Scotland and, that said, she’s very curious as to whether you might have a Scottish accent and wishes for you to, to the best of your knowledge, describe to her what your voice sounds like (i.e. is it a Deeper Voice, a Mid-Range Voice, or a High-Pitched Voice and is it a Calm Voice or is it an Energetic Voice), and is also curious as to whether you know any Sign Language; although I’m able to hear you perfectly, she’d still love the answer to come from you directly…She’s asking because she’s unable to hear your voice for herself…When answering my friend’s Question in the Video, please avoid speaking too quickly, so to be certain that the Answer you provide in your Video will form as accurately as possible in the Auto-Captions…And please don’t take too personally this request for you to not speak too rapidly when answering my friend’s Question, as I ask ALL people this whenever including my friend’s Questions in a Q&A Video…

By-The-Way: Last week, I’ve failed to clarify that of my friends who are deaf, some were born deaf while others were born with some limited hearing that, with Hearing-Aids, allowed them to familiarize themselves with what voices (and pitches of voices) sound like…I believe that the friend who wonders what your voice sounds like (or whether you might have any accents) wasn’t always 100% deaf (like she is nowadays), but by the time she started watching your Videos she was…But as for any of my friends who were born deaf, as you can probably imagine, they aren’t at all curious about what your voice sounds like (or whether you might have any accents), as they have no idea what voices and accents sound like anyways, and they would likely even have a chuckle and kid around about how any person’s voice sounds makes no difference to them…
This comment was really interesting and I hope you don't mind me dropping a reply as it's really made me think about some things that despite even having friends who are deaf in the past I've never really fully imagined before. Things such as how written language would be processed by a person who has never heard spoken language. For instance, the bit I am trying to wrap my head around is when I read or write something my "inner voice" (a whole other mindblowing topic when you speak to people who don't have one,) is heard in my head as an actual "voice" similar but not the same to mine if that makes sense? So as I am reading its almost like having headphones on narrating what I see/write/read or whatever, but like.. It must be differently processed by people who were born totally deaf? I can't wrap my head around it it's really interesting! All our differences and similarities as humans I love it.

While the decision to add sound effects might have made the wet suit situation more awkward, I really don't think I can envision any way to make helping someone else out of a wet suit not be an awkward experience.

This was an interesting story! Whitewater rafting seems like it was both nerve-wracking, and fun. I agree with you about the world though; there needs to be less discrimination and corruption and more fairness and equality. And since you asked, I'm apparently an infj-t. I'd say it sounds like me.
