Hello! I am Renato and I am from Brazil. I 'm deaf. I knew that the Wilkison Sword blade is from Brazil. I tried to shave with Brazilian Wilkison blade on the Baili razor. That is Very good. God bless you.
Hey Kevy !!! The performance of this safety razor is as expected after all for some reason the original Rockwell design has positioned it as one of the favorites in the world of wet shaving (including me!!) Again in my humble opinion, this chrome version It looks great I don't know but it attracts me much more, by the way, excellent weekend!!!
I love the scent of BFoB! The best part is the hit of vetiver right at the end of the scent envelope....just gorgeous! Another very enjoyable video Kevy! Best wishes from across the Tay! 🤜🤛👍👍💈
Love my Rockwell 6S razors. I have both red and blue and considering sending one to Razor Emporium to be plated. Yours looks great! Have a great weekend.
@KevyShaves another great detailed educational breakdown of wet shaving products with amazing storytelling. My favorite razor is The Rockwell 6S with a Wilkinson Sword Blade from Germany on plate 3. It's my first stainless steel razor and the knurling is amazing in my opinion.
Excellent shave Kevy💈💈 Stunning polish work on the 6S, must be smooth in use. Soap/splash sound amazing and by the looks it works great. Fruit on the face, yeah I can see that. Thanks for another fun video, results were telling, well done. Enjoy!
I polished the beaded finish off my Tatara, which comes with a beaded finish, and liked the result, so I'm pleased to learn you prefer it this way. New York hasn't been the same since you left.
Hi Kevy! Great video as always. Congratulations! I am Brazilian, but I confess that I was never brave enough to use the Brazilian Wilkinson Sword, since its fame here is not very good. In fact, unlike the Brazilian Gillette Platinum, which is actually manufactured in China, the Wilkinson Sword is manufactured in the Manaus free zone, in a factory in Amazonas, in the north of Brazil. I love your polished Rockwell 6S! I also have a polished Rockwell…the 6C, hahahaha! Cheers! ❤️🪒
Great shave, Kevy. My 6S has been nickel plated so while not as super shiny as yours it's a great improvement on the original dull looking finish. It has definitely improved the glide of the razor in my opinion. Oh, and this Hibs fan hopes you don't ever mention Heart of Midlothian again in future videos. I almost choked on my cup of coffee! 😉 All the best, mate.
Very nice shave Kevy! Thanks for the explanation, why now looking the 6C and 6S same. Only the Rockwell singh. Then you have the Rockwell 6SC.! Great shave yeah and have a good weekend 👍😊
A few weeks ago I tried corking my first blade, and it wouldn't! It was a new German W Sword blade, and it had a very terrible and potentially painful burr. I got these in a sample pack and was just using them up. I'm now scared to use WS blades, but on a visit to the UK this past month, they were all I could find. I survived! . . . .but based on that one blade, I will avoid them, along with the birth year Gillette Slim, which is fine in isolation, but terrible when compared to my old Rockwell 6c and my new fave, Karve CB.
I'm not keen on the WS German blades, i find yhem very rough on my skin. The old vintage made in England WS blades are excllent but they are getting harder to source. Kevy 😀
Say "6S" three times quickly! ... you tend to get "success" ... lol ... Very shiny 6S, love it😍, very understandable it slides better than the original. Cannot go wrong with the Wickham's base, top stuff one of my favorite vegetal soaps. Generally I don't get on well with German made blades, Nacets are good for me. Take care Kevy!👍🤠
Kevy please don't shoot the messenger but I've got bad news for you. I recently bought a Karve Overlander SS and guess what??? This razor is absolutely phenomenal and it beats the Rockwell 6S in every aspect. For many years Rockwell was holding first place for me, now it takes the honorable second. 😂😂😂😂
Great shave. Now that you used the polished 6S, it gives me a perfect time to reveal the razor of my dreams that I finally bought, and wait for it, it’s the Rockwell 6C. It’s much better than the razors I’ve used in the past, and I’ve been enjoying using it. I prefer plates 4-6 for to take down my coarse facial hair with ease efficiently and effectively. I’m not sure if plate 3 is gonna cut it, but I’ll try that setting out on a later date. With that being said, I’m very happy with the upgrade and I’m loving the 6C. Have a good one!
👋 Hi Kevy, I have a 6s and am wondering if to polish it or not. My question is, does it hold it's shine or does it need to be polished regularly 🤔. Thanks, Bob Australia 🇦🇺
Hi Kevin nice shave video! Is it true that polishing the rockwell could change its tolerance? Is the difference in shave quality between the polished and unpolished 6S that much? Is it worth doing? Please advise🙏🏾
That polished 6S is a looker for sure. My SOTD used my dull-looking 6S with a Gillette Nacet (my favorite blade) and as usual, I had a smooth, comfortable, BBS shave! What a great safety razor! I have compared my 6S with my 6C and I really could not tell any difference. Maybe that's because I didn't want to 😉 When it comes to smoothness and glide, I think a good quality shaving soap definitely contributes. If anyone ever posts a video on how to polish a 6S, I may give it a go. In the meantime, all of my perfect shaves will be with my unpolished 6S. Cheers! Did I mention it was a great razor?
Hello Kevy. If it's who I'm thinking of who has polished your 6s bought and sent me my 6s on my behalf. I will just give his initials GF. Correct me if it's a different person. Great shave.
Man, i hate you. Bought safety razor, cream and brush for Christmans cause the channel piqued my interest and was tired of plastic crap ... few years later drawers are becoming the issue. Keep up the good work, take care.

Nice review about the polished Rockwell 6S razor. I'll be fine with my matte Rockwell 6S!

Good morning and hello from Black Forest in Germany.
Good morning. Have a lovely weekend. Kevy 🙂
Some parts of that back label are printed in Spanish; but not the whole label.

Great stuff. The 6C is a brilliant razor. Kevy 🙂👍
👋 Hi Kevy, I have a 6s and am wondering if to polish it or not.
My question is, does it hold it's shine or does it need to be polished regularly 🤔.
Thanks, Bob Australia 🇦🇺
I haven't polished mine since I got it and it's still nice and shiny. Kevy 🙂
Hi kev! Can you tell me where you got the razor done 6S Rockwell??
Thanks
Rui; from Portugal, lisbon
It was from a guy in Scotland. He doesn't have time to do any more. Kevy 🙂👍
Kevy!!
What is the weight difference SS original vs. SS polished ?
No difference. Kevy 👍
Did the 6S come with the plastic washer, or did you add it? If you added, could you confirm the size?
I added it myself. Size M5. Kevy 😀
Hi Kevin nice shave video! Is it true that polishing the rockwell could change its tolerance? Is the difference in shave quality between the polished and unpolished 6S that much? Is it worth doing? Please advise🙏🏾
It doesnt feel any different to me, apart from gliding over the skin a little easier. Kevy 😀
those two blades are very common here in Brazil.
Great blade. Looking forward to trying the Gillette blade. Kevy 🙂

You did mention it! I often mention it too! 😂 Cheers. Kevy 🙂
Kevi, what did you use to polish it? Polishing paste and felt or very fine sandpaper?
I don't know. It was a friend that polished it for me. 👍
😮😮😮😮
5:59 😉😉

Correct 👍
Scottish Water supremacist this guy
I'm brazilian and I consider this blade one of the worst in the market. I prefer Nacet and Treet
Same, I prefer Nacet and Voskhod
Salve BR
And then he does the dirty action of squeezing out Lather from Brush.
Man, i hate you.
Bought safety razor, cream and brush for Christmans cause the channel piqued my interest and was tired of plastic crap ... few years later drawers are becoming the issue.
Keep up the good work, take care.
I feel your pain! 😂👍
Scottish spit 😂
