I have a Rockwell 6c in the beautiful gunmetal finish. Before this I bought an Edwin Jagger and a Merkur 34c. I wish that I didn't waste my money on those. They were an investment in learning though. I had alignment problems on these but that could be adjusted. The Rockwell was spot on with no tweaking necessary. I found my razor, now I can waste money on shaving soaps!
Hello Kevy! I am Brazilian and new to traditional wet shaving this century (I will be 64 tomorrow and my first shavings 50 years ago were…wet). I enjoy very much your videos and like the way you talk about a lot of things while looking to a mirror (I suppose). Best regards!
Great shave! I did the same comparison shave with my 6S and 6C (Gunmetal) and found the 6C, like you, more comfortable. I did several comparison shaves, changing to different sides of the face I'd shave with the razors. I even had my wife, on a couple occasions, shave me blindfolded and I could always pick the side done with the 6C. No worries as she use to be a professional barber. On can still get her to give me a shave with a straight razor, if I detail her car.
Great shave. Comparing the Rockwell 6S and 6C razors is like comparing an iPhone with an Android. One sticks to the iPhone while one sticks with an Android phone because it all comes down to performance and feel. It's gonna be extremely cold in where I live so I gotta stay warm. Have a great week
I absolutely love my 6C. I never thought I would use any other plates besides 6. My beard is so heavy in the morning I use the 6 plate and if I go out in the evening I use the 1 or 2 plate to take care of my 5’o’clock shadow to rejuvenate me for the evening. Great videos Kevy!
Today's session answered many curiosities regarding the 6C. It appears to glide like skis through snow. The 6S skates on ice with ample feedback from the blade. The Rockwell "T" has met with some conjecture as I have read, and spoken to other wet shavers. This concern is regarding the refusal of Rockwell to reveal where the Model T is manufactured. This has caused many to request full refunds of their pre-orders. I am not swayed so easily with hearsay, but I am concerned with the non disclosure by this company. A deck of 100 Nacet was a very wise buy! I enjoy the blade immensely myself. Erica Salmons turned me on to Nacet; and I have been a fan ever since. This was a thoughtful, and necessary contrast and comparison. Well executed, with very little pickups! If faced with the choice, I would choose the 6S. I suppose I fall within the pro stainless side of the aisle. It appears you're needing a new tub of Highland Bothy. I hope you still have TGGR vouchers burning a hole in your pocket. That knot is reminiscent of a Kabuki foundation brush. It flings lather very well. You'd surely win a lather fight with anyone using a standard knot. Cheers!
I'm hoping the Model T is as successful as the 6S and 6C have become. It must be frustrating to those that have been on the wait list for so long. I'll wait to hear what the reviews are like first before thinking about adding one to the den. Nacet blades are excellent. The Groom Room voichers have been cashed in already! I really enjoy this dark smoky scent. It is an unusual knot but it seems to work very well. Cheers. Kevy
I get as good with one as the other. I don't use it much anymore since I got the T2ss. It's just smoother on my skin. Easier to adjust as well. It still is one of my favorites though. I tend to use a non adjustable though when I don't use the Rockwell T2SS. I have several I like. It's good to have choices. My goal is to have one of every reasonably priced good quality razor.
Great comparison shave. Science can be fun! I’m waiting for delivery of the 6S because it is so widely loved. Thanks for featuring the Highland Bothy soap. I have ordered a couple of other soaps from them but It was not available just now. Sounds like a great scent though.
A couple of months ago I high polished the edge of the cap and all four of the plate faces of my 2-4 6S base plate (try saying that quickly when you’re pissed! ) After using it almost daily since then I think it does give a smoother shave. The next job is to polish the whole of the top cap.
Hi Kevy, I enjoyed watching your review. Clear, simple, and direct. Not only learnt about the two razors. I learnt about the nice product to uuse aftershave.
Thx much Kevy I have the 6s but you convinced me I need to add another to the collection I purchased the 6 c will be here tomorrow looking forward to it thx again good friend
I’m so torn. I’m fairly new to wet shaving. I’ve tried a few but have it narrowed down to either the S or the C. I have the C and like it but I like the idea of the S for durability 🤔Well the 6S it is. Man this thing is sweet!
Great comparison Kevy, I find your comments and considerations always very intelligent and spot-on. You seem to be also a nice person, with a good sense of humour. Great channel. Cheers!
after having a few zamack razors either fall apart or corrode (edwin jaggers) i personally would only ever buy stainless or aluminum or any other solid metal besides zinc. i polished my 6s and it looks just like chrome now, was not hard at all with a light wheel. i have more razors then i can even remember honestly. WAY to many lol and i would put the 6s up with wolfman, above the tie etc its really a great razor in stainless for the money.
I loved my 6S. I bought it for the durability, I'm a truck driver. I Watched Matt's video from Razor Impourium and upgraded to the 6S with Rhodium plating. I get the glide of the 6C with the durability of the 6S. Both are great razors as far as shave quality.
Bit late to the party here but great comparison nonetheless. I understand the 'smoother' shave with the high polish of the 6C but I prefer the stainless steel version...just because it's stainless steel.
Awesome comparison,Highland Bothy is one of my favorite smelling soaps I own and shaved with it last night.I just need the Heather one and will own all of the Essence Of Scotland soaps.Sorry Im always late to the game, thanks for the videos,we appreciate ya Kevy 👍
Hi Kevy- Great shave and razor comparison; thank you! The Rockwell system is great and was a game changer for me. I started with the 6C and it is still my favorite of the two. Great looking soap, too. I hope your week is going well and all the best, Kevy!
Thanks for the comparison Kevy, very helpful. I just ordered the 6S as I like a bit of weight, but after watching your video I'm planning on polishing the head to try match the glide of the 6C. Also ordered the Highland Bothy, can't wait to try. Keep it up mate, loving all your vid's!
Kevy... did a similar comparison between the 6S and the 6C... both with Nacet blades and my usual prep. Both had very smooth shaves. The glide factor with the 6C was marginally better that the 6S for me, but not enough to be a big deal. However, what I did notice was I found the 6C to be a little harder to hold with wet hands. It is like the knurling on the handle of the 6C is not as pronounced as it is on the 6S. But, I love both razors. Thanks for another great video!
Some of the vintage razors are great. Back then, they were built and designed to last. It's testament to those companies that the razors still shave well even after all these years. Kevy 😀
Hi Kevy, Received my Rockwell 6c and am trying to decide on a suitable plate as I have very sensitive skin. I replied to one of your video's a few weeks ago but can't for the life of me find it! Your video's are really good and have now ordered Mitchells woolfat after your review. Love Arko and Taylor's Eton College and have just got Proraso white. My face is still sore after each use with any soap. I do 3 passes and am gentle. Had Acne as a teenager (58 now) so don't have smooth skin which doesn't help. I used plate 2 today. 4 the other day and the 2 was not really close enough and the 4 cut me a few times because of my bad skin.I use quality brushes and Feather blades. I will keep at it. I have been wet shaving for many years and have a 34c, EJ 89, mulhe R89, new Rockwell, and an open comb 1945 broad arrow stamped Razor by A S & CO. The pain is waiting for the stubble to grow so you can shave again, you can't just practice whenever you like🤣🤣. Any advice would be helpful mate. Take care and stay safe! Dave.
Hi Dave. You're using good gear but the one thing I would suggest is that you try some different blades. Feather blades are great, but they are very sharp and any blemish on the skin, and Feathers will nick the top off. There are many different blades out there for you to try and they are cheap. Some won't work for you, some will be ok but it takes time to find out which work really well for your skin type. That's the fun part, trying them all out to see which one works best for you. Also, make sure your lather is properly hydrated with enough water to make it slick and protective. Kevy 👍😀
@@kevyshaves4109 Thanks mate!! I was just watching your top 5 blades when your message came through as I was thinking the same! I was working on the principle that the sharper the blade, the less time I spent with razor against face making it sore. But my feathers are so very sharp that my Acne scarred face suffers!! Any you would recommend? Cheers, Dave.
Gillette Nacet. Treet Platinum, Astra Superior platinum, derby Usta, gillette silver blue, Personna platinum... Theres 100's of different blades out there. Try and get a sampler pack first to try. Kevy 👍
HI Kevy, I secumbed and ordered the Rockwell 6s to go with my 6c! I know the 6c glides better but I'm a stickler for quality!! I love stainless Steel razors. My best to you and the family. Stay safe mate. Dave.
@@kcb8130 The 6s has a balance point about 1 1/4" (30mm) down the handle from the base plate. It is a great razor and smooth with any plate you use. Dave.
Great comparison, Kevy! Your videos are always entertaining, informative and enjoyable to watch. I too picked the 6c (for the same reasons) and now am in great anticipation of its delivery! I'm watching as many 6c videos as I can , as I obsessively keep checking the tracking number. 🙃 I remember watching your video of the tour of the GGR, and would love to visit it, if I make it back across the pond.
Bought the 6C as my second DE razor last month. Then I found a great package deal on the 6S... so I bought it. Had a really good shave with the 6C last week, and will be trying the 6S a little later. Since I thought that the 6C was heavy AF, I can only imagine how badly my hand will cramp up using the 6S. And since there was Aberfeldy in the soap, what's your favorite whisky, if you fancy a tipple?
"Squiggly" works for me 👍 Fantastic lather with that soap, and must be super slick to be able to touch-up with an aggressive razor on bare skin. I agree, it does smell wonderful.
Just ordered the 6S, hopefully the mild setting will fix my problem, my face has been like Flanders field on the summer of 1918, so much blood. Cheers from Lisarow Australia.
Great comparison shave, Kevy! I've got a 4C in Gun Metal (well, it's the 2C but I bought the 2/4 plate). I did have an issue with the blade alignment when I first got it but Rockwell was quick to make things right. I have to say, I'm REALLY torn between it and the Parker Variant. I'm ALMOST to the point where I could sell all my other razors ... almost. Have a great week! Love to you, Mrs. Kevy, and Riley!
Hey Jack. Glad to hear the guys at Rockwell fixed things for you. If I were you, I would keep both those razors if you're getting rid of everything else. Nice to have some variety in your shaves. But yes, I agree with you, they are both excellent razors. Have a great week ahead. Kevy 😀👍
Hello Kevy, I got my Rockwell 6C today, and I had to test it right away lol. The R1 plate was too mild, but the R3 gave a baby smoot shave. I will try the R2 plate tomorrow. I'm very satisfied with my new razor. Hopefully I can make my son interested in wet shaving, and then I give to him the 6C and buy the 6S to myself lol. Cheers.
Been using a King C Gillette safety razor for awhile has done me well. And will be getting the Rockwell 6C before long. Just because of the Chrome Factor. Thanks for the video Kevy!
I own the 6C gun metal and it's a great razor. I have extremely coarse hair with very sensitive skin and hair grows fast. Thus 5-7 days growth results in a full, heavy beard and the Rockwell R6 plate (with an assortment of blades) handles the beard with ease. Constantly surprised at the volume of hair this razor can handle without getting clogged You won't regret buying this piece of kit!
@@kcb8130 yea shaved with it last night. I used every plate to see which one I liked and plate 3 and 4 does does great for 3 day beard growth. I used plate 6 first and it felt rough but but didn't cut me to that's a winner lol
You love Rockwell, don't you? With your enthusiasm I'll buy 6c, budget question and personal, and glide factor we hich for daily shaving is still very important. Have fun and thank you
Hey Kevy, I love Highland Bothy! I purchased it in person from Matt at Razor Emporium at the Big Shave West 2017 in Los Angeles. Anyone who likes peaty Lagavulin or Laphroaig will love this scent. In fact I pulled mine off the shelf while watching and will use it tomorrow with Nacet blades and one of my Rockwell razors. I have the Gunmetal and its like the chrome. p.s. I also have the Nivea 2 Phase I purchased on eBay from Germany so I guess I will duplicate your shave. I just don't have the special "Kevy Shaves" bowl. LOL. Cheers, Mark
Nice one Mark. The highland Bothy is. Great scents soap and performs great. I could send you the bowl but I think by the time it got to you, you would have a full beard! 😂
Hello Kevy, Nice shave as always. I just fell in the rabbit hole and ordered the Rockwell 6C razor, lol. I have been using the Razorock German 37 Slant, but the razor feels sometimes to be too aggressiv, specially if I have some nicks. Hopefully now I can change to the milder plate if needed.
Nice comparison on the two choices....~! Bottom line as a budget guy I have the 6c on my wish list ~! I would think the audio feed back is do to different vibration levels on the two different metal materials? My 316 grade Stainless Razorock Game Changer .84 is pretty quiet too . Great Job Kevy Kit
I love the look from the finish from the 6S. Looks so good. But because of the money i bought the 6C. It's a very smooth shaver. And now i know the decision was good. 😉👍 Great shave. Thank you. Have a great week! Jens
@@kevyshaves4109 i have read that about the gliding from the first owners too. Many people have both and some said it. I think the 6C was a good choice and so i could save money..... Hahahaha. Saving money... Buying more soaps, oder Razors, blades, brushes... You know what i mean. 😉
A timely video, Kevy as I’m intending to do exactly the same comparison tomorrow after I collect my new 6S from the local Royal Mail Delivery Office. I came home today to find the dreaded red ‘sorry we missed you’ card behind the door - Grrrr! I’ll let you know if I also find the 6C more glidey. 😉
Well Kevy, I compared them both and I share your opinion that the 6C is more glidey. The 6S still delivers a fantastic shave but there is an almost imperceptible drag on the skin that you don't get with the chrome version. For what it's worth, I prefer the stainless steel version due to its slightly heavier weight and grippier knurling on the handle.
Very interesting and detailed Comparison. I have the 6C must use it more, would love the visit the Gentlemans Groom room. Maybe when the weather breaks, us Londoner can’t take the cold. I’ve heard that the people that supported the kick starter program for the Rockwell model T are the ones that are now receiving the razor I put an order in last November no word as yet.
I enjoyed the video as always Kevy. Good comparison between the 6S & 6C. Maybe I'll pick one of them up someday. Nacets are awesome blades. Glad you're enjoying them.
Nice video. I have the 6S, the model T and the Rex ambassador. I have to say the 6S is much much much better razor for me. I was thinking getting another 6S and have it recoated. I think I'll be selling all my Gellett Adjustable and all others. Just keep the 6S
DS cosmetic tuxedo fibres are indeed very crimped, compared with other tuxedo knots out there. I prefer Yaqi synthetics but the DS flat top knots are amazing too!
nav m I have several Yaqis and very happy with. I have fan shapes and like them as much as the bulbs. Never had a flat top though. Would you recommend rhem? Why? Are they better than fan shape?
@@Juraberg Sorry for the late reply. The flat top isn't better than a fan of bulb perse, however, they do give a very unique experience for sure. They don't require any splay to generate lather and the face feel is very unique. For these reasons, I highly recommend the flat tops.
Hi Kevy - another good video, thanks. Re Nivea 2-in-1, I live in the States, had to buy it from an EBay seller in Bulgaria. Purchased based on your recommendation/use, works great. Will look into the Rockwell 6C. Cheers
I agree with you Jill. You don't have to pay extra if you want to try out more plates. Unless of course they answer my request to make and release an R7 & R8 plate! 😮😀👍
That was a fantastic and very interesting comparison shave Kevy! Thanks for the mention, you might need to send down some of that ice cold Scottish water if this heat doesn't let up lol. Take care mate. Cheers!👍
It's why I like my Futur in the polished chrome as well. Have you done a comparison on the Variant vs the Progress for smoothness with the Progress being Polished Chrome?
@@kevyshaves4109 Cool! I am watching all your vids from the beginning, but I have also watched a few ahead to learn things and see the awesome stores you have visited. 😊
Impressive soap. Great lather. I'm sure I would love that scent.😋 I prefer the look and touch of the satin stainless steel of the 6S. The glossy zink-alloy of the 6C looks like any other cheap razor to me.
Great shave comparison. I pondered for quite awhile on which to buy, he 6S or the 6C. I finally decided on the 6C for two reasons, price and looks. I'm old and shiny things catch my eye, LOL. I haven't tried the R5 or R6 plates yet. I'm going to try them changing plates as I change passes.
@@kevyshaves4109 Okay, today I was feeling brave. I had a 3 day growth. Used my Rockwell 6C with the R6 plate (Polsilver 2nd use) for 3 full passes and pick up. WOW, that R6 plate mowed down the stubble on the first pass like a hot knife through butter. I could have stopped at 2 passes but was having fun. I got a little irritation, but not bad Next up: 3 passes with the R5.
Today was the R5 plate. Had a great shave, 3 passes. Very minor irritation that was gone within the hour. So, my opinion, the R6 plate is too aggressive for me for 2 or 3 passes, but will definitely be used for 1st passes. The R5 plate was great and smooth with 3 full passes and pick up.
I got the 6C first a couple years ago, then decided to get the 6S because of the quality of shaves. I always seem to reach for the 6C over the 6S, but as you stated, they both shave fantastic. Can't go wrong with either one, that's for sure. Nivea 2 Phase is sold in the US, imported from Germany by Smallflower. Expensive stuff though, $20+😕. Great shave💈💈 and comparison Kevy, the review was most welcome. I knew you'd like the 6C👍. Is it true they import water from Wales to make Scotch Whisky?😁. Enjoy!
Great video! And great enthusiasm! But, darn! I have to buy yet an other razor... Haven't decided on 6c or 6s...... Think I am leaning towards the 6C...
Got my 6c and had my first DE shave yesterday.Absolutely love it.Can't wait for a couple of days growth to use it again.I used a plate 3 with a voskhod blade and it was by far the closest shave i've ever had.At 52 i only wish i'd made the switch years ago.Always hated shaving but now i'm looking forward to the ritual. It was your vids that convinced me to get one so a big thank you.Have a great day.

It is indeed a rare antique soap scooper abe, very well spotted. It was used in the 18th century by the Spanish royal family to scoop soap out before adding it to smoked chorizo. Soap was a delicacy in Spain in the 18th century. Cheers. Kevy 😉😂😂👍
Kevy, good job. Thank You for your service. How does the soap you grated Tabac and Mitchel perform? Can you show them shaving sometime? Best wishes Wojtek (Voytek)
Hey Kevy be careful if u are thinking about the Model T I canceled my order after waiting for 7 months since I first ordered the Model T back in May of 2018 before enduring endless B.S. up until Dec of 2018 Rockwell said that the first receiving date was in Aug of 18 then pushed back to Oct of 18 then possibly in Dec of 18 then further excuses of falling behind in production and closing down their shipping plant over Christmas and New Year after supposedly promising some people my self included that some orders would be received by the end of 18 but I wasn’t biting anymore on their BS so I got my refund and bought myself a Rex Ambassador and never looked back sure I paid more for my razor but no regrets. Enjoyed the video maybe the price on the Rex will drop one can only hope but feel sorry for all the other customers who are getting the shaft.
That's a shame to hear that about your wait for the Model T. Hopefully Rockwell will get things sorted out for the others who are still waiting. I'm going to get a Rex Ambassador later this year. I've tried one and they are excellent. Cheers. Kevy 😀👍
I'm relatively new to wet shaving and thus far have acquired an Occam's razor (single edge) and a Rockwell 6S. The learning curve that accompanies any new process notwithstanding, I am very pleased with both. Your review was instrumental in my decision to purchase the Rockwell. QUESTION: Have you tried or considered the Rockwell "T" razor? BTW - as I'm sure you're aware, the Nivea 2 Phase After Shave is (sadly) not available in the U.S. (???) Perhaps you could ship some my way. ;) As always, thank you so much for sharing. Steve
Hey Steve. Good choices with your razors. I've not tried the Rockwell model T but I would love to try it sometime. I don't know what the problem with Nivea not releasingnthe 2 phase in the US. I wish I could ship some out but shipping anything with alcohol is banned here in the U.K. Kevy 😀👍

Hey Troy. They're all great soaps. Kevy😀👍
Hi Kevy- Great shave and razor comparison; thank you! The Rockwell system is great and was a game changer for me. I started with the 6C and it is still my favorite of the two. Great looking soap, too. I hope your week is going well and all the best, Kevy!
Cheers Mike 😀👍
Thanks for the comparison Kevy, very helpful. I just ordered the 6S as I like a bit of weight, but after watching your video I'm planning on polishing the head to try match the glide of the 6C. Also ordered the Highland Bothy, can't wait to try. Keep it up mate, loving all your vid's!
Cheers. The 6S is a great razor. Kevy 🙂
just look at that beautiful base plate
it shows you the correct angle
few razors like this one
parker variant has a similar guiding angle
Great comparison video, Kevy! The soap scent sounds very interesting.
Cheers! -Rob
Kevy... did a similar comparison between the 6S and the 6C... both with Nacet blades and my usual prep.
I did notice that the 6C glided a little bit easier over the skin. Great razors, yes. Cheers. Kevy 👍
Great video you're right the nacet blades are great sharp and smooth 👍
Nice shave sir. Great comparison.
New to DE shaving at the age of58 and was wondering how the vintage shavers compare to the more modern ones
Some of the vintage razors are great. Back then, they were built and designed to last. It's testament to those companies that the razors still shave well even after all these years. Kevy 😀
Hi Kevy,
Received my Rockwell 6c and am trying to decide on a suitable plate as I have very sensitive skin.
Cheers,
Dave.
Gillette Nacet. Treet Platinum, Astra Superior platinum, derby Usta, gillette silver blue, Personna platinum... Theres 100's of different blades out there. Try and get a sampler pack first to try. Kevy 👍
@@kevyshaves4109 ok mate, thanks!
Have a look at connaughtshaving.co.uk for blades and sample packs. 👍
HI Kevy,
I secumbed and ordered the Rockwell 6s to go with my 6c! I know the 6c glides better but I'm a stickler for quality!! I love stainless Steel razors. My best to you and the family. Stay safe mate.
Dave.
Do you find the 6s more balanced weight compared to the 6c?
@@kcb8130 The 6s has a balance point about 1 1/4" (30mm) down the handle from the base plate. It is a great razor and smooth with any plate you use.
Dave.
@@davesheppard8797 thanks for the response
The 6S is a little heavier than the 6C but I’m sure you’ll enjoy it just as much. I don’t drink whisky, unless it’s in a sauce poured over haggis! 😀👍
You read my mind..great shave
I believe the model T timeline on the website refers to orders placed now. I believe I should be getting mine in February 🤞
Good stuff. I look forward to hearing what you think of it. Cheers. Kevy 😀👍
You'll enjoy it I'm sure 😀
"Squiggly" works for me 👍 Fantastic lather with that soap, and must be super slick to be able to touch-up with an aggressive razor on bare skin. I agree, it does smell wonderful.
Squiggly is a great word. I might try to get some real Scottish words into my vids! Twa plehn bridie's and an' ingin' ane an' a'! 😂😂
Just ordered the 6S, hopefully the mild setting will fix my problem, my face has been like Flanders field on the summer of 1918, so much blood. Cheers from Lisarow Australia.
I hope so David. What have you been using? Kevy 👍
David Bell how is it? I’ve just ordered mine
Finally I bought both, I do not know why..... I love it e Basta..... 💥
Cheers.
That's brilliant Leif. Good to,hear that you like it. Cheers. Kevy 👍
Banging shave!
Great comparison! I love my gunmetal 6c so much I thought about getting a chrome 6c for blade Comparison videos.
Cheers Jim. Does the gunmetal look more like the 6S? They all look great razors, no matter which one you have. All the best mate. Kevy 😀👍
The gunmetal version looks more like a charcoal version.
Constantly surprised at the volume of hair this razor can handle without getting clogged
You won't regret buying this piece of kit!
Have fun and thank you
Let me know how it goes with the 6C. Kevy 🙂

I also find the 6C glides a bit better but the 6S gives me a better shave.
I use R4 on the 6S and R6 on the 6C.
Hi Uncle very nice shave 😊 great Lather again , have a great weekend and stay smooth my friend😎
Thanks, you too! 🙂
Hello Kevy, Nice shave as always. I just fell in the rabbit hole and ordered the Rockwell 6C razor, lol.
I have been using the Razorock German 37 Slant, but the razor feels sometimes to be too aggressiv, specially if I have some nicks. Hopefully now I can change to the milder plate if needed.
new to this world, watched all the shave guys and you are my fave
Thank you :)
Cheers Kit 👍
I love the look from the finish from the 6S. Looks so good. But because of the money i bought the 6C. It's a very smooth shaver. And now i know the decision was good. 😉👍 Great shave. Thank you. Have a great week! Jens
Hi Jens. I think you made the right choice. Kevy 👍
@@kevyshaves4109 i have read that about the gliding from the first owners too. Many people have both and some said it. I think the 6C was a good choice and so i could save money.....

I know EXACTLY what you mean! Lol 😂
@@kevyshaves4109 Kevy, sometimes i have the feeling you are my lost twin brother 😂😂😂
Hi Derek. Great, looking forward to hearing what your thoughts are. Cheers. Kevy 😀👍
Thanks Paul. Hopefully you'll make it across the border soon to visit the Groom Room. Hope you get your Model T soon. Cheers. Kevy 😀👍
When and if it arrives your more than welcome to take it for a test drive.
Wow! That'd be great Paul! Cheers. Kevy 😀
Nice one Kevy, I'm more than happy with my Gun metal 6C. What a waste of whisky! the only time whisky should be involved is as a post shave dram.
😂😂
I enjoyed the video as always Kevy. Good comparison between the 6S & 6C. Maybe I'll pick one of them up someday.
Nacets are awesome blades. Glad you're enjoying them.
Hey Lyle. Thanks a lot for that. You should get yourself a 6C, awesome razor. I'm really liking the Nacets. Cheers. Kevy 😀👍
Great comparison kevy. I had been considering to do one. Glad you did.
Thanks. You can still do one. Be good to see what you thought of them both. Cheers. Kevy 😀👍
Nice video. I have the 6S, the model T and the Rex ambassador. I have to say the 6S is much much much better razor for me. I was thinking getting another 6S and have it recoated. I think I'll be selling all my Gellett Adjustable and all others. Just keep the 6S
I always enjoy your enthusiasm kevy

DS cosmetic tuxedo fibres are indeed very crimped, compared with other tuxedo knots out there.
I prefer Yaqi synthetics but the DS flat top knots are amazing too!

I have several Yaqis and very happy with. I have fan shapes and like them as much as the bulbs. Never had a flat top though. Would you recommend rhem? Why? Are they better than fan shape?
@@Juraberg
Sorry for the late reply.
The flat top isn't better than a fan of bulb perse, however, they do give a very unique experience for sure.
They don't require any splay to generate lather and the face feel is very unique.
For these reasons, I highly recommend the flat tops.
@@Nav_M Thank you. Interesting thaughts. I will definitely consider buying one.
Hi Kevy - another good video, thanks. Re Nivea 2-in-1, I live in the States, had to buy it from an EBay seller in Bulgaria. Purchased based on your recommendation/use, works great. Will look into the Rockwell 6C. Cheers

Thanks Claude. I think you made the right choice. Let me know what you think of the R5 & R6 plates when you use them. Cheers. Kevy 👍
I got a little irritation, but not bad
Next up: 3 passes with the R5.
Great to hear that Claude. Thanks for letting me know. Have a great weekend. Kevy 😀👍
Good shave Kevy...saved us money...more beer...

I got the 6C first a couple years ago, then decided to get the 6S because of the quality of shaves. I always seem to reach for the 6C over the 6S, but as you stated, they both shave fantastic.
Cheers. Kevy 😀👍
