thanks, I'm getting this done this weekend.
Thanks!
Love watching the videos man, I work on tractor , trailers and it’s always nice just to watch a detailed video of anything I haven’t done or that I even have just seeing other ways how people do things etc bud love it keep it up
Thanks for watching and your support on building up this channel. More viewers like you and I can make more videos to show everyone behind the scenes magic. Teaching ,guiding and showing how to save money in the process is the name of the game right. Stay safe out there.
thank you for video and your time
Definitely hard to hear you but I do hear some stupid music in the back. But thank you and great job
Good video
Thanks a lot for any help you doing for people out there. I saw some people they put w gasket little gasket maker. Is that ok or people should just put regular gasket ?I am watching all your videos. Thank you again
Thanks for watching and your continued support in growing this channel. With the valve cover gasket it’s pretty thick so there’s no need for silicone or gasket maker. Just the new gasket is fine. For the oil pan gasket definitely use silicone to help seal the known leak areas. Have a great one.
@@bustedknucklebydieseldr3228 Thank you much man
Good job I have questions for you those bolts the don’t have torque Specification?
@@dawitabate9291 every bolt has a torque spec on these trucks.
What power tools and size of the sockets and extensions and what are the settings for those screws?
Thank you. Great videos.
You can use any power tools or just a simple ratchet if you dont have power In the video I was using a Milwaukee fuel 3/8 impact and 13mm deep socket for most of the bolts. A wobble socket 13mm would work best for the ventalator on rear of valve cover. Torque is very little for all the valve cover bolts but I’d have to look that up again.
Thank you, Sir.
Great video! Mine is leaking. Is there a tightening sequence for the bolts?
Great question and the sure is. Start inside and back and fourth till you get all the way around. Hope that makes sense.
@@bustedknucklebydieseldr3228 thank you!
If possible, could you let me know where is your shop and if you work on people's trucks?
Thank you again.
I work for a company I can’t publicize but hopefully one of these days I’ll be able to get you guys to check out a shop of my own. Appreciate your support.

We will be waiting.
Thank you Sir.
Mine is leaking and someone previously stripped the bolt! Know what size they are?
Good question man. I can’t remember the size but I would take out one of the other bolts and match it up with a retreading kit. They are pretty cheap. Sometimes it can be a real pain to make new threads in that soft aluminum housing. Good luck on ur quest.
@@bustedknucklebydieseldr3228 Ill try a helicoil. Thanks for reply
@@bustedknucklebydieseldr3228 helicoil worked. 15 ft lbs. Thanks
How much will this cost for parts and labor
Thanks for reaching out. Labor should be about 3 hrs whatever the shop rate is and parts about $40. Nothing to crazy.Or try it yourself and save that $$$$$.
What happens if you don’t replace it
Those gaskets are forgiving but I would hate for it to leak after I was in there. So just incase I’d replace it. But if not able to than ur good to reuse it
