  • Albies have arrived off Cape Cod and the Islands in force, so I figured I would share this TV episode for the first time on UA-cam! This episode was filmed on September 13th, 2019 and originally aired during the winter of 2020 on NBC Sports Boston, presented by the ‪@GooseHummock‬.
During this trip, big schools of false albacore were feeding on the surface alongside bonito and Spanish mackerel. To watch more episodes of My Fishing Cape Cod TV, please go to www.myfishingcapecod.com/tv and consider joining as a member. ✌🏻

Last year we saw a huge one at midnight. We saw it under the lights of the R.R. bridge. Then we saw one in the daytime, about a week later. Also heard of great whites eating seals at East end last year

Tuna do occasionally show up inside the canal. There are a few stories of people hooking them too. Usually they get spooled!

@My Fishing Cape Cod haha I just picked up same rod at redtop the other day in a heavy fast. Waiting to get out in the boat in few weeks for top water striper action.

Caught a nice albie on the Southside also. 7lbs.

Nice! That's a good size one. Seems like there's been some big ones around so far this year.
