Toto presents "With A Little Help From My Friends".
The performance captures one special night on November 21, 2020 when Steve Lukather, Joseph Williams and David Paich appeared with the new line-up of TOTO for a global event originating from Los Angeles, CA. Joining Lukather, Williams and Paich for this next chapter in their indelible history are new band members bassist John Pierce (Huey Lewis and The News), drummer Robert “Sput” Searight (Ghost-Note / Snarky Puppy), and keyboardist / background vocalist Steve Maggiora (Robert Jon & The Wreck). Keyboardist Dominique “Xavier” Taplin (Prince, Ghost-Note) and multi-instrumentalist / vocalist Warren Ham (Ringo Starr) segued over continuing their tenure in the ensemble. This marks the fifteenth incarnation of the TOTO line-up in consideration of band members or sidemen who joined or exited.

This is why The Beatles’ songs will live forever. Every generation will have bands that will do a cover with their own twist on it and be brilliant without losing touch of the original.
Thankfully, David Paich looks healthy. It's hard to imagine any incarnation of Toto without the inimitable Mr Paich. But this is a great cover, really shows of the diverse talent of this lineup.
Yes. He was the creator of this band. But, unfortunately he won’t be touring with this band if they go out due to health reasons.

With the tour pushed back to 2022, Steve, Joe and Dave can write and record a new Toto studio album together with this amazing new lineup of musicians. TOTO XV with the 15th incarnation of this band! Then they can tour all 3 new albums (both solo albums and the new Toto album) in one go when they go back on the road in 2022. Perfect timing for a perfect plan.

totally obsessed with this band. Unbelievable that 44 yeras after founding the group, they're still performing with such musical quality. Thanks to Paich, Williams and Lukather for keeping this project alive for us recent generations to enjoy as older did since the 80s.

Classic songs never die. Band member's pass on or leave new singers/players add their own touch. The meaning emotion and heart of the song remains the same no matter who sings or plays them. Still as good as they were when you first heard them. Toto were and still are a first class act. Thankyou for sharing this .Not one of theirs but this song has just been Toto fied
This “concert” was in the middle of the pandemic only a few family members were present but for us at home was a little bit of normality for a few songs. Loved it

High musicianship here, and great vocalists on the stage (including Dave).
For your info, the famous hammond arpeggio that opens the song was composed and played by the late Tommy Eyre, British keyboardist that later played with George Michael's Wham!.
