Toto presents "With A Little Help From My Friends".
The performance captures one special night on November 21, 2020 when Steve Lukather, Joseph Williams and David Paich appeared with the new line-up of TOTO for a global event originating from Los Angeles, CA. Joining Lukather, Williams and Paich for this next chapter in their indelible history are new band members bassist John Pierce (Huey Lewis and The News), drummer Robert “Sput” Searight (Ghost-Note / Snarky Puppy), and keyboardist / background vocalist Steve Maggiora (Robert Jon & The Wreck). Keyboardist Dominique “Xavier” Taplin (Prince, Ghost-Note) and multi-instrumentalist / vocalist Warren Ham (Ringo Starr) segued over continuing their tenure in the ensemble. This marks the fifteenth incarnation of the TOTO line-up in consideration of band members or sidemen who joined or exited.

Yep. It just goes to show what someone can achieve with over 40 years practice/experience and dedication (at least in Lukather's case). Having said that, I've been able to ride a bike for over 50 years and I still fall off 😄😩
Absolutely. Been a fan for 21 years. Saw them 3 years ago for my birthday and it was an experience I'll never forget. The two biggest highlights for me were Lea (my middle name is Leigh) and my favorite song Make Believe.
Recently found them and I'm thankful for that. They are quickly becoming one of my fav.

The drummer is Robert 'Sput' Searight, a multi-talent best know as one of the drummers in Snarky Puppy. Here he is with that band. This is from a DVD where the band backed a number of guests. The all got together and learned/rehearsed the tunes for a couple days prior to the performances. This is from 'Family Dinners Vol. One'' (there is now also Vol. 2), which is tremendous and numerous tracks are on UA-cam. I particularly like this one, which is really quite charming. @@salvadorvillalobos6090 He did fine on Rosanna. Sput is one of my favorite drummers along with Simon and Jeff. I loved every drummer that has gone through this band including Keith Carlock and Shannon Forest.
Absolutely no complaints. The faces change, but the spirit of Toto lives on forever. So glad to see you guys up and at 'em.

For everyone longing for Bobby and Simon and anyone who no longer is with the band please show some respect that this is the new band. This lineup is stellar. Time moves on and at some point you need to accept change. Bobby isn’t coming back and truthfully he had a hard time the last time he was in the band. Those vocals are a challenge for anyone. Maybe Simon will return someday but right now THIS is the band and I am thankful for it.

This....is.....OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!! Apparently there are 17 people who don't get it, but the rest of us have yet another great reincarnation of TOTO to enjoy!!! Everyone on that stage is world class, but I have to say that "Smut" is the best drummer in the line up since Simon and I am so glad he is there! I truly hope that Steve and Joe can keep this going for MANY MORE YEARS and I wish them all GREAT success!!!!!!!!!

Fan or not, every musician will appreciate how solid and passionate this band is. They deliver. It's a group formed by top of the bill musicians who obviously connect.

Amazing drummer at his own projects and amazing musician but this band needs Phillips back, miss the thunderous fills on good tuned toms, not these muted ones

With any line up, Toto's level is remarkable. They always had an amazing quality to write those complex arrangements, the precisest ensemble and an incredible audio, in recordings and also the live performances. Their musical legacy is inmesurable. They are the only band that mixed jazz, pop, rock and prog in a very consistent way, producing at the same time radio hits and "music for musicians". ¡Standing ovation for this new encarnation of Toto! ¡Thanks, Steve and Joseph for give more life years to this marvelous group!

All else has been said. This tune is amazing. JW's singing is beyond amazing & the new TOTO is ready to roll! BUT, can I just say that Steve Lukather guitar solo (starting at 12:36), while it might seem simple to some, is so well placed & meaningful it just impacted me in some unexpected way & once again proved to me that TOTO is the band of the past, present & future. Bobby Kimball was always even till this day the best vocalist in TOTO. I never pay attention to anyone who disagrees, because Joe Williams said early on that he was a Bobby Kimball fan during his 1st tenure and still acknowledges him , as so. That vindicates I was right all along. You can replace talents with other talent but you can't replace the heart and soul of the person . Perfect or not.

Talent off the charts but they are just as nice in person as they are talented. Proud to be a fan since day one when I was spending my paper route money on the records and could not play them enough.
This is the best incarnation of Toto since Bobby Kimbal left the band, and I really enjoy it. But nothing will ever be as good as when Bobby and Jeff were part of Toto.

White Sister just cooked, and as a follower of Steve and Toto, they never left, they are well connected, and have a ton of fun on stage. Luke adds his own dimension. I don't think he gives himself enough credt for how good he is. Fast is not best
