I heard that Zone of the Enders: Fist of Mars track at the start there. Such a bop! I just started a file on that a week ago or so. I also wanted you to cover Marvel Nemesis when I saw your most recent community poll. This is so cool! Lol
This is the first time I think of that EA made a licensed Marvel game. I even played this, and even read the tie-in comic that came alongside the game. It strange that they never put Hulk and Punisher or even Captain America in the game.
@@campxbox The Imperfects are a strange bunch, and they don't fit well alongside Marvel characters. To be honest EA should have made their own original game instead of licensing Marvel.
That ad with the fight card that you used in the thumbnail really brought back memories. I remember seeing it in Mad Magazine back in the day. It's very distinctive.
I've been watching many of your older videos, and while they were good for someone just getting started on UA-cam, watching the newer ones makes it clear how much you've progressed. So, kudos for that!
I really appreciate that! I do feel like I've found my style, and it's getting better and better. Honestly, some of the older reviews really need an updated video, but it's fun to see the progression of the channel. Hopefully adding title cards and more gameplay has been a good change!
It's neat seeing marvel stuff from this era. I grew tired of the "avengers" formula after that age of ultron movie and haven't seen any of the later ones. Today, they know they can do whatever (or just as importantly, not do) they want and it will rake in the money. But this isn't film criticism, it's about the game like you said. It's interesting seeing such a dark atmosphere here
The PSP game is interesting because you get some different marvel characters from the consoles, and some characters have different costumes. And also the color scheme is totally different, it's much more colorful and more easy to tell what things are imo. Aaaaand they also have some stages that are different. Recommended for sure
wuhuu the raning list is back :) I have to agree the visuals are ok and i like the comic character portraits but the rest from what i have seen here is mid
I remember playing the demo when thos came out and thought it looked cool, but didn't grab it. A year or so ago I picked it up for my teenager to play, but he bounced off of it hard. Very atylish though
I played this game on the Gamecube a few years back, and honestly the game is a disaster. The gameplay is unbalanced, with repetitive levels and the AI is broken. Like you said in the review, I appreicate the little touches to make everyone unique, but it comes at the cost of making Wolverine for example the worst character in the game. The Imperfects have cool designs, but aren't memorable characters. Compared to other beat em' ups like MK Shaolin Monks, I don't like this game.
Another good Xbox game from Camp Xbox still waiting on that Jade Empire video
Jade empire is peak!
I feel like that'll be a bit for that one. RPG's are a bit longer than some games.
Unless you play Far Cry 4 for that certain ending. Lol
Nice review! Never even heard of this game. Looks cool though. Also, good to see the ranking back in!

Yeah I would have much preferred having more Marvel characters over The Imperfects.

I was going through old magazines and I saw the ad and knew I had to use it. It's fantastic.
i loved this game so much for the psp.. its one of my guilty pleasures

I played this a lot on og Xbox when it came out. Got it brand new when it came out. My favorite characters were Storm and Paragon.

The PSP version is absolute dog shit compared to the console one
I always wanted to play this as a kid, totally forgot about it!
I remember the cover issue of gamer informer. Never played it though. I've been getting around the some of the co-op beat-em ups tho
I really liked the editing work on this video.
Thanks! Glad to hear it!

I remember having a demo of this (and I still do), I played it once but the AI's difficulty was so damn high...

Bought this game solely because Paragon was hot. My hormones dictated a lot of purchases back then.
Understandable. She remains pretty hot.
Cant wait for you to eventually cover marvels ultimate alliance it takes the best parts of this game and makes the best teambased superhero games imo
I have a lot of fond memories with that one.
@@campxbox it holds up imo
Could you do a video on the nightmare before Christmas oogies revenge
Added to the recommendation list!
Physics was cool.. game was fun
2:09 im a huge marvel comics fan and ive never heard of the imperfects so guess they didnt stick
Can you imagine Marvel vs. DC? That what would be your dream team?
Ps damn daddy the hairy arm reveal was an exciting extra 😍😉😅😂
I remember I got tired of this game very soon. I found the graphics nice but it felt sooooo boring. One of the first games I dropped
I have the ps2 version and been struggling to do the finishing move isn’t it R1 + O when your opponent is in danger?
