These were cool when I was a kid but now after seeing these characters soften because of Disney, this is ridiculously badass. Iron Man *FRIED* him into *DUST*
Some of them are dope but than some of them are like insanely lame like Solara hazmat and faultzone and torch
lol like these aren't the most ridiculously laughable/edgelord animations ever made, they look so awkward and utilize almost nothing interesting about any of the characters.

I deadass think it uses Def Jam FFNY engine or something. Some of the victory animations are the same and the sound effects during the supers are the exact same too

What I love about this game is the interaction with the environment and things. I wish some other game similar to this one.
this was Nihilistic Software/EA's version of marvel vs capcom meets mortal kombat.
i love the dark aesthetic and style, the look and tone that this game had, it meshed perfectly to the story. the voice cast was surprisingly great being that they're not your typical trendy names but instead going with a lesser known voice cast (which is risky, but it damn sure paid off), some of them only did just this game and all of them was perfect.
i didn't know about this game until i got older. these was one of many ps2 games that went under the radar and one of many regrets on games that i wish i had gotten back then. because i was one of those dumb kids getting suckered in on buying cash grab movie tie ins when I was a teenager. experimental games like this needs to be appreciated because look were at right now it's nothing but remakes reboots and rerelease this industry of is to scared to take risk, not just the gaming industry but the movie industry as well.

I liked Marvel Nemesis, but it doesn't offer much in-game content like how Marvel Ultimate Alliance does such as characters, costumes, moves/abilities, and multiplayer.
Also, this should've been M-rated like the MAX Comics, it was brutal and brooding, but it was lacking the gore and grittiness.
It could have been better, but it was rushed in production cause EA has to be EA unfortunately.
Fun Fact: The PSP version has Captain America and Dr.Doom but in sacrifice they remove Daredevil and Johnny Storm/Human Torch.
If you want I can see if I can play Marvel Ultimate Alliance.
I loved this game, story was weak, characters were a mixed bag but man that gameplay was so much fun! A lot can be said for making a punch feel like it had weight behind it. Totally saved the game for me

TO THIS DAY! One of the best marvel games. They did not hold back, they showed the power of the characters. To see The Thing, Spiderman, and Daredevil beat someone to death was dope. To see Iron Man and Human Torch freaking disintegrate people was beautiful 🥲 what a time.
I wish marvel would make more games like this 🥺.

This was basically Marvel's take of doing their version of Mortal Kombat and i was absolutely down for it.
I really hope one day this game gets an HD re-release cause this was a really underrated fighting game that i had a lot of fun playing.
I haven’t seen this game since playing it during the ps2 era back when we’d get a variety of different marvel games now it’s a desert with only a few to choose from.

Wolverine's finisher is absolutely brutal, I love it. Basically like a DBD mori. What I wouldn't for this game to come back... one of the few games we're able to play as Venom. I have to say I kind of prefer Solara's finisher on the DS version, she kisses the opponent and the flames spread from within them. So many hot girls in this game too... I can't believe after all the reboots of things over the years, nobody has ever even TRIED to do anything with these characters (the Imperfects) since this game and it's related comics..

Am I the only one that fine Thing's finisher to be cool and subtle brutal? He is literally shattering and slamming his opponent into the ground with all his strength. One of the rare things about this game. (No pun intended)
