Thanks Michael for the video, I am really interested in buying a new golf cart like yours and like all the thinks that you have bought for it. I can't wait to see what the bad weather attachment looks like, hope you and Tiffany will have an awesome weekend.
Love the golf car and love all the great gadgets you've added. It's fabulous! I'm looking forward to seeing the progress of the Enclave. It's such a pretty neighborhood.
Michael and Tiffany, thank you so much for all the time and research you put in to your purchases. Also for sharing all your information. We’re coming down in August for our lifestyle visit- trying to learn as much as possible right now. Always enjoy your commentary.
Hi Michael and Tiffany. We just bought a house in TV in April. Our plan is to rent it out until my husband retires. We are both 66 yrs. old, but he is not ready to retire. Our house is up North and I’m guessing yours is down South. We are headed down there is a couple of weeks and we cannot wait. While we are there, we plan to buy a golf cart. I want to thank you for all your videos and all the info on your golf cart. I believe that is exactly where we will buy ours. Thanks again and hope to see you in TV.
I have been watching your videos for awhile and thought I was subscribed, I am now. Thank you for all of the information you provide. My husband really loved when you guys did the beer and chili events. I think he wishes he was there enjoying the beer. I would have been with Tiffany and the chili!
When we first moved to TV we went to buy a 4 person cart. Guy asked “how often are you going to have company?” Good thing. We found we needed 2 carts for golf and going to different activities. Accessories I like on my cart is the built in basket, an attached cooler, sand bottle holder and a shelf over the windshield. Handy for my handbag, sunglasses, snacks for golf. On my steering wheel I use a Caddy Buddy Phone holder. I can easily use my phone for golf gps and control my small JBL speaker. I also like my extra large mesh bag that attaches to the back for my groceries, etc. everyone’s needs are different. After 12 years, there really isn’t anything I would do different.
I was wondering where the golf clubs go. Your cart is really nice and it's the proper color for Tiffany! When you give us another tour of the Enclave perhaps you position your camera to the side so we get a good look at the homes. I'm glad you are enjoying yourselves down there!
Awesomeness! Welcome to our channel! Glad you found us and hope our content is helpful as you get ready for your big move to TV. Great user name (blind squirrel)! I totally relate. Good luck with the move! Keep us updated on your progress. Thanks!
This is very helpful! Great video! We love your golf cart too! One question...the cart looks longer than the other type of 4 seat cart with 2 seats facing backwards. Is it longer?
Great accessories! I think the only other thing that would be a must have for me are cloth seat covers to keep from burning my legs on those hot black leather(ette) seats. Maybe you can find a lighter color that would be cooling too.
O MG !!! We saw you making this video today !! If you were near Dabney enclave. We drove by twice to see if you were ok. You were on the phone ☎️ and looked ok.
Thank you for your informative videos. Could you please talk about servicing your golf cart? I have heard that The Villages Golf Cars won't service your golf car if not purchased from them.
What extras did you purchase with your golf cart …not including the sunbrella enclosure or the golf club holder on order?what did it come with for less than 10k?
I am the same, I like gadgets, I was curious your cart have a Radio ? I like to have a golf cart that has *A/C and Heat* , is there any such thing ?? I like the style of golf cart ( 4 facing frontwards ) . I'll take my golf cart to the farm , there's plenty of space and places to ride, and here at our main home , I can keep it here too. I was told, we can ride golf carts in the neighborhood. I was very surprised, they would aloud it. I know of 2 neighbors who has golf carts.

Nice cart for $10K and 260 mi with only a 3% rundown is nice. What's the warranty on the batteries? Me, I would mount a solar panel on the roof to charge the batteries like RVs are equipped. With an extra set of panels back home to charge the cart if a hurricane knocks out the power. My only other question is the suspension versus a Yamaha. To beat the heat may I suggest polyester t-shirts and polos? They dry and cool off with the breeze while cotton when it gets wet, it stays wet.
Very curious to see the custom weather enclosure you’ve ordered. Hopefully it looks nice as that is about only issue potentially preventing us from purchasing a D5. Have watched a lot of UA-cam videos on this cart. For the most part very favorable! Surprised Evolution doesn’t sell a nicer matching enclosure as an in stock option. Will the enclosure cover golf clubs? How long is the order delivery and install time expected to take?
Great price for the golf cart. Especially since it has a lithium battery. Can I ask, where you did you purchased your golf cart for that excellent price? Thanks.
Wow, Michael, as you and Tiffany test your golf cart out, you want to tell us all about what you think! Longterm investment requires a long term comfort stance!
So much great information! Thanks for taking the time to do this. One question I have is if you had a chance to drive the lifted version. I think it's called the maverick? Curious whether the ride is different. Also if the lifted version can make it through all the tunnels. Please don't feel the need to do any research/work on this. I could always just call the dealer!
Contacted the dealer. They said the D5 Ranger (like you have) drives like a car so there's no benefit to getting the lifted version. Also, there are two tunnels (I'm guessing up north) that are a little low for the cart. If it's really important to use those tunnels, they can do some things to address. I'm guessing maybe it means slightly smaller wheels?
We are moving there within the next 2 years. Since you showed your cart my husband said he wants the RANGER/MAVERICK. I’m afraid he will not be happy with anything else. So if there is an issue with some of the tunnels we need to know because that will be based on where we buy a house. Lol I know,…. His looking more forward to the golf cart… lol 😊 Thanks much!! 😊
Great gadgets! QUESTION: Will you remove all gadgets when parking away from home (i.e. Town Square)? I'd be afraid to have them stolen while enjoying an evening of music & dancing. Our world is changing, unfortunately.
I can do a rough calculation for you. Don't know how efficient the cart is but if you assume it needs to be charged once per week from zero to full and the battery is about a 10KWh. Electricity is on average 15.5 cents per KWh with a 20% loss due to the fact nothing charges perfectly. It would mean about $1.86/charge or about $8.06 per month. Of course if charging the whole battery twice per week would be $16/month. Seems really inexpensive to me all things considered.
Hello Michael & Tiffany, My wife and really enjoy your videos….GREAT JOB! Perhaps I missed it, but what is the range that you are getting on a single battery charge? From some other UA-cam videos we have heard of only 25-35 miles for this cart. If so, that could be a “no-go” for this otherwise great cart. Thanks in advance.
Yes. We upgraded to the 205Ah. Biggest battery we could get. I recommend getting at least the 160Ah. Will cover all the details in our full review video. Thanks!
@@MichaelTiffanyTVE looking forward to that video as well as your upcoming expenses video. We would also be interested in any upgrades you two have done to your home specifically the laundry closet area as we’re considering the purchase of a Topaz model which has the same setup as your Emerald.
Hey John! It is so great to hear from you! Glad you found our new channel. We sold the RV and are loving life here at The Villages. We are also loving our new golf cart. Hope y’all are doing well too! Thanks!
Hello Michael. We are in the process of buying in the Villages and we are evaluating Golf Carts as you can imagine. So, I have a question for you. Now that you've had your Evolution for a few months, do you have any concerns or regrets? Thanks for your feedback. Tom & Debbie leaving South Carolina for the Villages on September 30th.. Woohoo
Hi Michael and Tiffany, we are seriously considering the Evolution D5 Ranger. The question I have is do you have any issues getting through the garage door at your house in regards to clearance and any issues with tunnels in the south or north for golf cars? Thanks so much, Tom and Lynne (Village of Newell)
We ❤️ it so far! Will be doing our full golf cart review hopefully this week (if the weather cooperates). We have drove from Lake Denham to Spanish Springs many times and no issues with those tunnels. No problems with clearance in our garage. Very tight fit front to back but it works! Good luck and keep us posted on what you decide to purchase!
Isnt that display in an awkward spot? Reaching around the steering wheel I mean. I'm looking to buy this cart also but I don't like that spot. Would be much better hanging from the roof like golf course carts do.
No one has answered so thought I would help. Drive through the village of Dabney and the north of the village is a separate area with premier homes called "The Enclave",
Well I have heard you cannot leave your plastic bottled water in your car and in the sun, because it goes bad in hours! So I would want my golf cart to have a ice package carrier for my beverage if I was driving 45 minutes or more up to somewhere in TV, and back home to my home in TV! Have you heard any bad vibes about your water in the sun/golf carts?
Hey guys, I thought I left a previous comment but can’t see it. Sorry if I’m duplicating. I am a villager (citrus grove) and a gadget geek too. I have a camera that I think you would love. Hover x1. I’m part of a group wandering hover and as part of that group I have to pass the camera on to someone that will use it and than also pass it on a month after they receive it. I thought you may want to try it. Let me know and we can meet at sawgrass.
Sweet looking cart! Love the accessories. Have fun!

Excellent choice of golf cart! Great price for what could be a second car, especially with the enclosure. 😊
