To them, Mundus is a place of pain and suffering, thus they looked to Dagon to move past their mortal perils, hoping that he would purge the impurities of existence so that it may emerge anew."

Alright guys, been thinking about this for years, have to get it off my chest. The Wood Elves missed a huge opportunity during the Oblivion Crisis. They should have gathered all those willing, stormed into an Oblivion gate, and performed the Wild Hunt. Considering it is said the creatures that come from the Wild Hunt kill everything in sight, these abominations would have limitless creatures to prey upon whilst rampaging across the Deadlands. Better yet, if it turns out some or all Oblivion realms are physically connected somehow, these abominations could even force themselves into other planes of Oblivion. This perfectly timed Wild Hunt could have turned out to be the biggest assault on Oblivion in mortal history (Perhaps Tamriel's biggest Uno Reverse Card even), lasting hundreds if not thousands of years, as if I recall the Wild Hunt beasts do not die from old age. With some sacrifices, the Bosmer could have truly given the realms of Oblivion something to worry about.
Awesome idea... like putting Doom guy right in the centre of hell. But I don't think that would be as effective as you think it would be. Through really really cool. Firstly the wild hunt monsters are super strong, they are definitely not unstoppable e.g there would of been more damaged caused form the past wild hunts and possibly would be still some creatures alive. Secondly dearea are basically immortal in there own plane of oblivion and would be much smarter than the wild beast's, E.g the Argonians knew they had too hit and run on the dearea and had the intelligence to know when to stop and return home. The beast's would also attack each other... if it was planned out right and possible working with the Argonians it could of been super efficient but there was no why the wood elfs would of known about the Oblivion crisis.
@@conorgillespie7832 Fair points, but I never thought of it like the Wild Hunt would take over Oblivion or anything, the idea being more so (since you referenced DOOM) to "rip and tear" until they can't anymore. Daedra ARE immortal, total victory is impossible, but if the Wild Hunt was large enough it could possibly have caused enough damage that the Daedra would think twice before deciding to open another portal to the land where this massive horde of monsters just came from. At the very least, things were looking pretty grim during the Oblivion Crisis, I wouldn't have blamed the Wood Elves one bit if they wanted to give the Daedra one last middle finger before the end came. Luckily it never came to that. But yes, I do agree that in the end, the Wild Hunt horde would have been put down by the daedra eventually. The amount of trouble they would have doing that being the idea here. Also as a side note it could have led to some cool encounters in future games, like exploring a realm of Oblivion and finding one of the last surviving monsters from the Wild Hunt still fighting the daedra after all those years. Existence is pain.
u should think aboiut applying for some of them audio books and use videos like this one as reffence of how u sound on em, that way u can do them and these, i know i would enjoy ur voice on audio books
The Aedra were Lorkhan's disciples? That's something new!
As much as I love tes I wouldn't be against some turning of the wheel event in which everything sort of restarts not erasing the history of the current tes timeline but resetting time itself and moving forward with a new slate not restrained by the old and building a new yet familiar world from the remnants of the old one
Dagon is just salty because Akatosh banish his ass back into Oblivion.
There use to be no ads on youtube..Now they're literally every five mins
New build? I have been playing my cultist build for a while, feels really cool and has many roll playing opportunities and build variability.
"roll playing"
Sounds like stealth archer
I think that the ending of elder scrolls is going to be the beginning of a new universe. Last mission being lulling the Godhead back to slumber after dagoth and alduin teamed up
Kirkbride wrote an ending to reality, though it does end with time travel highjinks sending back a warning so even if you accept Kirkbrides writting as canon it's questionable if it happened or is from an aborted timeline.
It also goes full anime with a giant robot fight in space over the fate of creation.
Mehrunes Razor, you think he really shaves with that?
Well time to go for a playthrough of oblivion as Sir Chadmus to go dunk on daedra worshipers.
Suggestion for a future vid: Why didn't Dagon make the Razor available for the cult to use?
why would he need/want to be bestowed dragon blood if they were trying to overthrow aedra like akatosh??
In order to wear the amulet of kings and thus utilize it's power
why not destroy it and wield dagons power?
If you still do skyrim builds, I have one you might like, as well as a backstory that I feel would be lore friendly
I mean, if we go by achievements then a Dragonborn rose up, helped a bunch of Daedric Princes spread evil across Skyrim & then freed the power of the Not-So-World Eater Alduin back to Akatosh who wanted to use Alduin to eat the world & end time so..... Elder Scrolls VI: Oops, We Destroyed Tamriel might be why it's not coming out
Drew, is there any way to comvince you to di audiobooks? If it was you reading, I might even like A Song of Ice and Fire.
The fallen of all faction to dragonborn hand
So I take it that Deadlands footage in Skyrim is from some Creation Club content?
Anniversary edition CC content
This was awesome. The opening sequence especially. Well done!
Does anyone know what mod that assassin’s armor came from? It looks so good!
