    Plyometrics is a waste of time and it's dangerous because you are accumulating stress on your joints. There is no special formula to jumping higher. You just need to get your legs stronger through resistance training, and then practice the specific type of jump you are trying to get better at.

    • @harshitkumar926
      @harshitkumar926 6 місяців тому

      i increase my jump 3 inches in one month by doing plyometrics. Ya it is dangerous for your joints if you don't do STRETCHING AND WARMUPS before that. And you said what??!!! • @abender06
      @abender06 6 місяців тому

      Yea they work but its a recipe for getting injured in the long term. If you want to learn how to dunk for example, just get your legs stronger, make sure you aren't carrying excess body weight and practice dunking until you get it. If you are a high jumper, hurdler, volleyball player or whatever just practice those specific jumps. @@harshitkumar926

      no, and if you believe the myth that general weight training aka going to the gym and doing strength workouts will they do not. i promise you I have done a decent about of research on this so i recommend forgetting this question and dont ask it again but if you do want to believe that myth just know it doesnt contain plyometrics and leg training is perfectly fine
