    Great dish! And thanks for reminding me, I need to grow snow peas. But it's to hot in summer here in Florida so we grow them this time of year.

      Sounds great! Planting veggie time table in tropical like weather in Florida is different here at Washington. Thanks for watching.

    Looks very good Chef. I made this before and plan to do it again sometime. Back to your previous fried rice video. I listed all the vegetables you used for it and plan to try that method. I know it will be good the way you prepared it.

    hi Chef. I remember visiting Din Tai Fung quite often when travling to south east Asia. They had this really delicious cantonese roast duck. Do you have a similar recipe for roast duck?

      You are very observant . I like that. Yes, my adult son put lot of white pepper on his own made ramen soup. LOL...

    Hi chef fai, I have watched almost all your videos over the years, and cooked about 100 (including repeats). I never owned my own wok though. Always borrowed a friend;s
    I got a job now and I can afford my own wok
    Which one do you propose I buy?

      Wow, thank you. Regarding wok, are you using electric or gas stove?

      @@HAPPYWOK I am using a gas home apartment stove, slightly higher than average quallity, as it has a rapid boil burner and a power burner, plus an elongated center burner. Moderate quality 5 burner gas range. Also, there is a sort of heavy duty stove grate that covers the whole top of the range with thick metal grate elements. Not the regular 4x mini grates covering each individual burner. And I am also wondering if I need a wok ring.

      @@flebbymar2075 check this website, they carry the same wok i used, round bottom is good for gas range and get wok ring for better stability. here is their website for that famous THE WOK SHOP in San Francisco, Calif. wokshop.stores.yahoo.net/wokw2wospha.html.

    Cheff. I made thos dish now. Put the fire on medium and added the garlic and ginger afterwards. The meat and garlic did not burn this time. But now i am a stupid, bcz i have notfollowed your instructions of the sauce. I added chicken broth and the light soy sauce . Result:too salty. My mistake again. Next time

    Stupid question....what is the difference between Cantonese, Szechuan, and Hunan styled of Chinese cooking?

    • @HAPPYWOK
      @HAPPYWOK  Рік тому

      Cantonese: like most of my cooking here at Happy Wok. Szechuan: super spicy cooking mostly with meat. Hunan: It is known for its rich, fiery flavors created by the use of chili peppers and garlic.
