Love your video, however I'm stuck at the part where you add the box corner to the envelope end of the cover, I'm obviously missing something as the box is not sitting correctly. Can you send me a closer view of the steps please?
Thanks for watching. Maybe watching the video again will help.
@@valrinevernonhome watched heaps but I seem to sew into the envelope flap somehow?
@@JudyMcGregor-fs9sn whereabout on the flap?
@@valrinevernonhome Woohoo! I finally worked it out. Thanks so much.
@JudyMcGregor-fs9sn I am so happy for you! I was trying to figure out where exactly you were stuck. Excellent, you get an A+ for persevering and getting it done! Kudos to you! 🥰 ❤️
I think I missed the part where you explained how you got the width of the fabric. I understood the length for the short side was cushion length + 2 (1/2 height) + 2" for double hem and the long side with the overlap was length + 2 (1/2 height) + 6" + 2". How did you get the width? Would it be the width of the cushion + 2 (1/2 height) + seam allowance?
Width is mid point on one side to mid point on the other side, plus seam allowance. You can also measure from the top edge of one side to the bottom edge on the other side of the cushion form, plus seam allowance.
