@pointsdexter73 You're making my point for me! Go to Google and ask "Does Flying Blue have an award chart?". You'll see a bazillion posts dating back more than a decade across every major blog (including Frequent Miler!) noting that Flying Blue *does not have an award chart* and has not for years! I'm sure that even Greg would agree that they don't have an award chart! Virgin Atlantic is the same thing. Pulling a number out of the sky and saying "sometimes it'll cost more than this and sometimes it'll cost this and sometimes it'll cost less than this" is not an award chart and in my option Virgin Atlantic does not deserve a free pass for that. -Nick
Same, I think he just got a little lost in the definition of saver award. This is literally how everyone does an award chart for their own metal, but like Greg said actually a bit better because they can actually be cheaper.
I generally agree with Greg on the VA "award chart" but the question comes down to how often those saver awards are available. If it's almost never, then the chart is meaningless. Many of us value Hyatt's award chart because you can regularly find award availability (that matches the chart).
Lots of good information on today's show. I was kind of blown out of the water though when I heard you discuss the business class Jetstar route between HNL-SYD. I JUST a few nights ago booked my return flight from Australia from MEL-SYD via Qantas. It was actually cheaper than a stand alone Sydney-Honolulu flight. Your continued vigilance on travel is pretty remarkable. Thanks again.
I hate how with the VA changes, now if you want to change a flight you have to do a full refund and then rebook whereas you used to be able to just change the flight for a fee. I have an existing VA business class flight where I forked over the taxes and fees on my business platinum to help me get the bonus. So, now, I can't change the flight because if I do I would have to get a refund first and risk AMEX clawing back my 250k SUB.
LOL, I have been telling my wife.... I will win 1 million Chase points since the Giveaway was offered weeks ago.... every morning at 6:30 am my calendar reminds me and... I have not missed a day yet. She wants to go to Ireland... I want to go to Vietnam. Hope we can do both
I’m surprised Nick didn’t see Greg’s point. It’s like Flying Blue’s saver awards for 50k to Europe which have been great. Thanks guys

Do you install diff extensions in the same browser like rakuten and cap1 or do you install one extension on each diff browser?

Do you need to have the VPN off ?
Capital One Shopping does not offer points though, does it? Mine looks like rewards to be used within their shopping site. Hmmm?
Nevermind, you just addressed my question.
This ep got a little tense 😥. Good ep tho.
Great episode
