I got my 40th IHG night back in mid November and had till 2/08/25 to choose my Milestone. I picked lounge access on 1/1/25 and my Rewards wallet says the reward is valid til 12/31/26
If I made an AS booking in 2024, would I still qualify for alaska status/elite tier status? flying a partner airline, HKG TO ICN (cathay), booked via 15k alaska miles
I wouldn't normally be able to meet the spend on an American Express Business Gold card, based on my budget. But with my tax payment, I'm looking forward to hopefully getting that 200k SUB.
The United pooling is interesting. The Aeroplan pooling was abused so badly by brokers that new pools have been shut down for at least a year(?). I have an AP pool and it's quite different - each member sees the pooled points but you can also see the actual points per person. When you redeem points the affected pool members get an email as an alert that pooled points have been redeemed (anti-fraud) and likewise when points are added back for cancelled awards. I don't know why anyone that wasn't an immediate family member would join a pool if there was a possibility that they left the pool with net lower points if they chose to leave under the United set up.
I did that last year, if any of leg include partner flight, I could not book through pool, so I delete all other person in the pool, then call CS to delete the pool, all miles go to my united account. They should just allow pool book partner flight.
Let me know when you’d like to schedule an interview. We can discuss topics such as homeownership, travel, and any challenges I’m in ❤
Just came back from Vacasa in park city, good value during peak season
The United travel bank can only be used for United metal flights. It cannot be combined with future flight credits.
So excited for 5 nights at milaidhoo in March!
Flew AA on an Alaska booking on Jan 3rd and don’t have any EQM’s yet. We will see if any post
Good show. Thank you.
what is the lake como hilton you are referring to?
I don’t see a $50 IHG travel bank in my United account. Only the biannual $25 credit. They say that between Jan 1-15 there is overlap. What gives?
January's $25 IHG credit will post January 5th or 6th and you will have the overlap for around 10 days.
I want to know if there is mileage run opportunity on AA bus? Can I book without connection flight?

Same here. Maybe that won't work going forward. Guess we'll have to plan 12/30 stays to get that 40th or 70th nights so it processes in the next year.
Same. I made the choice on the 1/1/25 around 8 a.m. EST.
@ Exactly 👍🏽
2025 is turning into the “Year of credit card Nerf” 🤨

I didn’t know that and my stomach would have been on the floor for sure.
Love Alaska

Carrie, Nick, Greg, you got the wrong date in the title! 2025 not 2024
I would just rent a car from Philly - then you'll have rides around Atlantic City as well without getting Ubers....
