I'm glad that you actually went through and fixed these families, and glad that you're doing the Pleasants next! Though I did have another suggestion. You talked in this video about the fact that you didn't want to have Dina Caliente involved with Mortimer Goth because Bella Goth is still in the picture this time around. So instead of Mortimer Goth, I wanted to suggest something that I did in the game, and that's to go into genetics and bring back to the game Bella Goth's brother, Michael Bachelor, and have him romantically involved with Dina Caliente. Reason for that is obviously because in the Sims 2 lore, Dina Caliente is actually the widow of Michael, and his urn can still be found in the Caliente household. Don't know if you'd actually have them get married yet, or just have them dating or engaged, but definitely feel like bringing him in as a love interest for Dina would be a nice addition to the neighborhood Edit: Not to mention it would be nice to have Bella have her brother around and it gives Mortimer another friend, as they were friends in the Sims 3

Those sims are so different from their original counterparts, that in my language they don't even have the same names! Even the translators didn't recognize them!
Well, in Russian version of Sims2. Brandi is named Emma in her family bio, but is still named Brandy, when you play the game) There are A LOT of inconsistensies in translations... but maybe, only ru translators don't give a crap
@@pollydavydova4230 The German translation is also inconsistent (the Goth family goes by three different surnames throughout the series, Bella's firstname has changed, too, for example) and the syntax is totally off as well. I find it so frustrating that I play in English

I really love this idea of fixing the sims 4 townies by someone who have been playing since the original sims game and knows the townies very well.. Sometimes I feel that the people who set up the townies in the sims 4 never even played the previous games.
If Cindy (I think thats her name Im newer!) Could add in the wife of the rich family the one on the island and kill her off (like it says in the bio) and have the grave stone somewhere and have her in the family tree too! EA ruined that family by doing a cool story line but no following through

Dude this is SO GOOD thank you!! The changes to the Altos are *chef's kiss*, for real. Personally in my file I put them accross the street from the Landgraabs, but I also don't really care for "Base Game Only" and stuff since it's a personal save file. I also gave them a very "new money" type of house, as opposed to the Landgraabs who have a very oppulent but kind of less in your face (but still very in your face) Excited for the updated Uni World :0 To be honest I'd be really happy if, like, the twins weren't enemies and both of them had straightened up their relationship and Lilith wasn't Dastardly, but might be wishful thinking on my part. I always wanted to give her the best life I could back when I played TS2!
Added to the Alto Family, add Bert Alto in San Myshuno maybe, Nick’s Brother who fought together. The lore is Bert is hiding from either his brother or people in Bridgeport.
You do such a great job writing the family stories! I miss when EA used to write little stories for them in their household description and it would kind of push you into a direction as to where to take the family and you brought that vibe back! Also love the makeovers you did - Dustin and Holly's were VERY needed. Not sure why they did what they did to them...

Hey PleasantSims. I love the stories from the previous games. I made a savefile: I recreated Veronaville in windenburng in the sims 4 with all families, stories, relationships, family trees complete with ghosts, careers, skills, etc. I am enjoying playing this savegame.
Absolutely resonate what you mean by sims gaining skills after a second of interaction. So annoying, makes me not do something just once because then the skill tab gets so overwhelming after a long play.
Cindy you've really inspired me. I have found the Pleasant Lot on the Gallery made by sshiney212 (215 Sims Lane) and have Daniel, Mary Sue their two girls, who I moved back home and made teens once again. Yes I snatched them away from Uni and moved them back home because they were not living their best sim lives without their family ties. I've also re-made Herb and Coral Oldie. They live across the street from Daniel and Mary Sue. In the Maxis made home, Rindel Rose. I moved them all into Willow Creek but on second thought Daniel's and Mary Sue's style of home is much better suited for Windeburg. Since Mary Sue's parents are in the hood we simply can't have Daniel without his sister, brother-in-law and little niece. It just wouldn't be right! I haven't completed The Burbs , yet. But they are next. I adore your sims 2 lore and LP's. You really bring to life the nostalgia and joy I remember so well while playing the sims 2. Thank you ever so much for your time and sim love.
I love these save file videos because it's like a mini-lp going through the history of the sims and how you've upgraded them to be more accurate and playable.
I'm so glad that you're doing this series! As someone who's been playing the Sims since 2, and played all the games in the series, I think you can imagine my surprise when there was a lack of old premades, lore, memories and how they butchered so many of the already established character! I played in the Vampires town for the most part and I remmeber the bios mentioning how the Vatore siblings are rivals with Vlad yet in-game they're acquintances. Neither are the Vampires that were shown in the trailer (and later put on the gallery by EA) established in their town so I always kinda like to put them in too. Part of me always loved to have Vladislaus and Lilith get together, because in the trailer it shows she wanted to be trained and turned by him... Plus I think it could cause some conflict between Vlad and her brother since she and her bro are so close! Caleb is also shown as a bisexual romance Sim in the trailer, going his way around towns, charming humans, yet it's never shown in his relationships panel. I'd love to see what you do with that tiny town as well considering they're the only premade Sims 4 Sims that I actually really loved! :D

Love what you did with these sims. The Altos are one of my favorite families from the sims 3. One suggestion with Nick Alto, while he does start out in the business career in the sims 3 his LTW was to be the emperor of evil in the criminal career. Haven't played the sims 4 in awhile but maybe give him an asperation that fits that more if they have one.
I don't even have Get Famous, but always curious to see what you did! Having the relationships set up to actually reflect the story makes me want to play with thw families more. Hope to see you cover the other packs in the future!
Seeing Del Sol Valley the way it should is fantastic 😄 I plan to play Oasis Springs and Del Sol Valley together, treating them as one world (thought they could both be located in California) while playing Sims 4 using Sims 2 rounds and rotation system, so this save is going to be perfect 😊
The broke Family has always been my favorite, it started my Rags to Riches mentality before I even knew Rags to Riches was a thing! I cant believe they put him, Dreamer and Alto in and I had NO idea until you made this video. SMH
I love these stories and cosmetic changes you are making. You’re really good at writing the biographies. They sound like something we used to actually get in sims 2 & 3. It’s too bad that the biographies in sims 4 don’t match the relationship panels. And I completely agree about the weird skill gains, I wish they had to work up from 0 instead of starting immediately at level 1. I wish they would fix the gallery for better searches. The only setting that works for me is base game. The search by individual pack just gives everything and searches for packs I own still brings up everything even when I don’t have it.
Love the return of lore! It’s so weird now that Daren and Dirk Dreamer are older than Cassandra Goth when in other in lets plays she ended up with one of them it at least had relationships with them 😂
You really did a good job at making the sims 4 lore interesting. Good Job! Here's a little trivia to help you with fixing some of the pre-mades the BFF Family and Behr Family(from Get Together) are actually MySims Characters. So they should definitely know each other in the game. However while Travis, Liberty and Summer are pretty accurate, The Behrs have no physical similarities with their MySims counterparts even though the Gurus confirmed they're supposed to be the same characters.
I can’t wait to see what you do with the rest. I have been trying to adapt your Gameplay Rules and spreadsheets to TS4 to make it more interesting. Just biding my time until you take the reigns on that as well. 😂❤️

Utilizing Get Together, I’ve been using the club systems’ 👍🏼 Activities pre-existing categories to record and assign hobbies to my Sims, based on random number. This way they are also “deepening” “relationships” with “friends” they actually have something in common with, as best possible with TS4 at least.
I love this honestly. I hope in the future you can do a Get to Work and Strangerville Lore rework so I can finally have a revamped and proper Strangetown with the lore I desire!

I've been playing the Sims for a long time and I love your perspective on the sims and focus on story in the gameplay. Many of the drawbacks in the sims 4 stem from superficial new systems. I would love to see what you come up with for get togethers club mechanic and how it would make the sims react to each other. Out of curiosity would you be willing to do a showcase of sims 4 mods that improve the game for you? Your view on how the game should be seems like it would be a great place to show other players who don't have the sims 2 or sims 3 a good way to improve their game.

OMG you made Dustin so adorable again. Dustin in Sims 2 and 3 is so cute but in Sims 4 he is completely different, I used to consider Sims 4 Dustin as a different person who happens to have the same name as Sims 2 Dustin I can't wait to play with them now!
I love that you're doing this! sometimes i play the sims 3 or the sims 2 just because the gameplay in the sims 4 is so bad, the only good thing is the build mode and cas, and that's it. And this changes you're doing are so helpfull for my gameplays. I know it can be too much to ask, but i would love if you could put the counterpart of these families. I mean how they actually look in the previous games, because i'm not super familiar with the original look and sometimes i feel lost. I would really love that. And sorry if there's something bad with my writing, i don't speak english very fluid.

UA-cam suggested your last lore video and I liked it. I didn't use your save, but I made similar alterations to the families that you did. Now I see you did this one, I might have to make a few more alterations. LOL. Evil. (Actually, 'Cool' but evil because it is a fair bit of work to go through and set it all up). The very first time I played Sims 4 at all, the household I played was J, Zoe, Mitchell, and Gavin and back then, J was in a romantic relationship with Nancy Landgraab. I thought that was weird at first until I saw Nancy get undressed for bed. LOL. Between that, Geoffrey being good, Malcolm being evil, and Nancy in the criminal career, I figured it made perfect sense that she would fall for J's poolboy charms. I have no doubt that Malcolm is a mamma's boy and I can imagine the arguments between her and Geoffrey about what do. Nancy thinks nothing is wrong, Geoffrey is reconsidering his stance with Johnny, and with that kind of frustration at home, Nancy would turn to the loveless embrace of the local boy toy. Unfortunately, that has never happened again. After that first game, J and Nancy never seem to meet or become involved and the whole story gets thrown out the window (without intervention). In any case, really enjoying these lore videos and looking forward to the next one. :)
I just took a test so my brain is fried but my suggestion for discover university save file is to give some personality to the Elderberries, particularly the grandson. Maybe Rohan could be friends with some of the college students because he is supposed to be around age 18 and is finishing high school to attend college in Britechester. Or you could just age him up and make him attend college. I hope you also make his grandparents be friends with some elders in the base game. They seem so lonely and Ekram really hates all the college kids LMAO

In my mind, Oasis Spring is the "valley" of Del Sol Valley and the Eco harbour also is a part of this simcity.

Neither are the Vampires that were shown in the trailer (and later put on the gallery by EA) established in their town so I always kinda like to put them in too. Part of me always loved to have Vladislaus and Lilith get together, because in the trailer it shows she wanted to be trained and turned by him... Plus I think it could cause some conflict between Vlad and her brother since she and her bro are so close!
Caleb is also shown as a bisexual romance Sim in the trailer, going his way around towns, charming humans, yet it's never shown in his relationships panel.
I'd love to see what you do with that tiny town as well considering they're the only premade Sims 4 Sims that I actually really loved! :D

Love what you did with these sims. The Altos are one of my favorite families from the sims 3. One suggestion with Nick Alto, while he does start out in the business career in the sims 3 his LTW was to be the emperor of evil in the criminal career. Haven't played the sims 4 in awhile but maybe give him an asperation that fits that more if they have one.
I don't even have Get Famous, but always curious to see what you did! Having the relationships set up to actually reflect the story makes me want to play with thw families more. Hope to see you cover the other packs in the future!

I plan to play Oasis Springs and Del Sol Valley together, treating them as one world (thought they could both be located in California) while playing Sims 4 using Sims 2 rounds and rotation system, so this save is going to be perfect 😊

The broke Family has always been my favorite, it started my Rags to Riches mentality before I even knew Rags to Riches was a thing! I cant believe they put him, Dreamer and Alto in and I had NO idea until you made this video. SMH
I love these stories and cosmetic changes you are making. You’re really good at writing the biographies. They sound like something we used to actually get in sims 2 & 3. It’s too bad that the biographies in sims 4 don’t match the relationship panels. And I completely agree about the weird skill gains, I wish they had to work up from 0 instead of starting immediately at level 1.
I wish they would fix the gallery for better searches. The only setting that works for me is base game. The search by individual pack just gives everything and searches for packs I own still brings up everything even when I don’t have it.

Here's a little trivia to help you with fixing some of the pre-mades the BFF Family and Behr Family(from Get Together) are actually MySims Characters. So they should definitely know each other in the game. However while Travis, Liberty and Summer are pretty accurate, The Behrs have no physical similarities with their MySims counterparts even though the Gurus confirmed they're supposed to be the same characters.
I can’t wait to see what you do with the rest. I have been trying to adapt your Gameplay Rules and spreadsheets to TS4 to make it more interesting. Just biding my time until you take the reigns on that as well. 😂❤️

Utilizing Get Together, I’ve been using the club systems’ 👍🏼 Activities pre-existing categories to record and assign hobbies to my Sims, based on random number. This way they are also “deepening” “relationships” with “friends” they actually have something in common with, as best possible with TS4 at least.

I've been playing the Sims for a long time and I love your perspective on the sims and focus on story in the gameplay. Many of the drawbacks in the sims 4 stem from superficial new systems. I would love to see what you come up with for get togethers club mechanic and how it would make the sims react to each other. Out of curiosity would you be willing to do a showcase of sims 4 mods that improve the game for you? Your view on how the game should be seems like it would be a great place to show other players who don't have the sims 2 or sims 3 a good way to improve their game.

I'm late, but Nina and Dina had aliens in their family tree, so it could be fun to have that in the Get to work save file, maybe? And I think it's sad that Cassandra is a teenager and Darren an elder :c I always made them a couple in TS2, because Darren had a crush on her.

I love that you're doing this! sometimes i play the sims 3 or the sims 2 just because the gameplay in the sims 4 is so bad, the only good thing is the build mode and cas, and that's it. And this changes you're doing are so helpfull for my gameplays.
I know it can be too much to ask, but i would love if you could put the counterpart of these families. I mean how they actually look in the previous games, because i'm not super familiar with the original look and sometimes i feel lost. I would really love that.

UA-cam suggested your last lore video and I liked it. I didn't use your save, but I made similar alterations to the families that you did. Now I see you did this one, I might have to make a few more alterations. LOL. Evil. (Actually, 'Cool' but evil because it is a fair bit of work to go through and set it all up). The very first time I played Sims 4 at all, the household I played was J, Zoe, Mitchell, and Gavin and back then, J was in a romantic relationship with Nancy Landgraab. I thought that was weird at first until I saw Nancy get undressed for bed. LOL. Between that, Geoffrey being good, Malcolm being evil, and Nancy in the criminal career, I figured it made perfect sense that she would fall for J's poolboy charms. I have no doubt that Malcolm is a mamma's boy and I can imagine the arguments between her and Geoffrey about what do. Nancy thinks nothing is wrong, Geoffrey is reconsidering his stance with Johnny, and with that kind of frustration at home, Nancy would turn to the loveless embrace of the local boy toy. Unfortunately, that has never happened again. After that first game, J and Nancy never seem to meet or become involved and the whole story gets thrown out the window (without intervention). In any case, really enjoying these lore videos and looking forward to the next one. :)

I just took a test so my brain is fried but my suggestion for discover university save file is to give some personality to the Elderberries, particularly the grandson. Maybe Rohan could be friends with some of the college students because he is supposed to be around age 18 and is finishing high school to attend college in Britechester. Or you could just age him up and make him attend college. I hope you also make his grandparents be friends with some elders in the base game. They seem so lonely and Ekram really hates all the college kids LMAO
