The 10-$15 trailer receiver light accessory dongle disables the annoying start/stop feature. If you have the towing package that is. It’s a nice LED extra brake light as well. Obviously, if you’re towing that disables it as well. ***Update: I replaced the main battery with an H7 Odyssey and now the stop/start is going on again. I figured the trailer receiver dongle is not drawing down the voltage enough to simulate the trailer now. I guess I rig the button or just push it. Removing the Aux battery was the main thing though, Thanks.
I understand the ASS also functions in conjunction to the hood ajar pin. Deactivating the pin deletes the start/stop but it also eliminates my remote start. Does eliminating rhe battery also deactivate the remote start feature?
I done this too my 2020 JL Rubicon and it didn’t work, and apparently nobody in these videos are telling people that in order for it to work you must have a Tazer.
I have a tazer. I pulled the fuse, removed the aux battery’s negative cable from the main battery. Pulled the positive cable to the aux battery and connected it to the main battery . Still getting the message everytime I start my 21 sport unlimited
This is false it does NOT disable the start stop or affect it in any way it bypasses the aux battery and the fuse keeps the warning lights off! That’s it!
The procedure worked for my Gladiator. I no longer have to manually disable the Start/Stop feature and when I come to a stop, the engine continues to run.
Yeah, paying dealers for basic maintenance is crazy these days. It always pays to DIY if you have the ability. Just like changing the oil. Here, I replaced the stock drain plug with a quick release drain valve: ua-cam.com/video/adF8DxdGOQU/v-deo.html
I did...I upgraded to a GoPro12 and Comica wireless mics. All future videos have way better-quality video and audio. You can always turn on Closed Captioning to have it transcribe across the bottom of the screen.

The volume level was definitely a bit low. L have better equipment now, so everyone can hear me better now.

mine would not start after doing this.. i reconected all cables and just removed the under the nut

No, because it is someway connected to the secondary battery for the Auto Start/Stop.
i removed the hood pin too..
I think removing the hood pin causes the light to display on the cluster panel.

@PrimitiveGuyStuff Then it's your driving style the only bypass that will work is the hood up sensor or a tazer mini.

Now my auto climate control will now show temperatures and the off road section in the uconnect is gone.
That doesn't seem quite possible with just pulling Fuse F42.
