Something is running interally for it to react to a radio signal. I would think a firmware update would make use less resources when in standby but who knows.
I used the Godox SL 60w for a long time. I've just recently moved on to the Amaran 60d. I think a 60 watt light is really all you need. I very rrlarely use them higher than 20 percent.
Instead of the App indicating off, maybe they could just change it to say Standby. Then it would be a bit more obvious that even though the light may not be illuminating, that power is still being used. But then they should document what battery life should be expected in Standby mode.
Yeah Titan tubes allow for you to choose the battery life time and it won’t let you run the light at max intensity, which is kind of nice. I could’ve sworn that aputure had a similar feature for the infinibars. Have you updated the firmware by chance?
I think about doing that, but I'm trying to figure out how to make money without giving people the impression that I'm just schilling, you know? Maybe soon though.

Totally agree that it should not run out of power! However, I expect for the ability to connect it needs a standby mode.
Is the worst!!
@@aboynamedjamil what would you recommend as a one light setup ? I come from a photographic background, but I’m slowly moving more towards video

You should put an Amazon affiliate link in your description.

TLDR: if you leave it on it drains the battery. 👍🏿
