A Walmart in my area has all 3 clearanced for $35 yesterday. They will probably come down more if don’t sell. I bought my blue one a few months ago for $25 at another Walmart I usually go to, so I keep checking on the other stores periodically. I’m waiting for the new versions to come out. WE NEED THESE IN A 40MM VERSION TOO!
My father got me a black Duro, and it's awesome! I keep the crystal spotless, and any time I sneak it from under my sleeve to check the time, I love it! An awesome detail; crystal times sells a sapphire crystal for the duro! I got one & installed it and it looks incredible. Blue AR. Lol, but the sapphire crystal costs almost as much as the watch itself, but it's so worth it. It just makes it so awesome!
A lot of wal marts are downsizing & possibly doing away with their jewelry counters & watches & have all their watches on clearance. I picked up the blue duro for $35 about a month ago & just picked up the black & gold one for $10 today!

I had one of these over 25 years ago, I had a picture which showed it clearly but I lost that watch somewhere. Saw it last year on Amazon at around £70 and put it in my basket a few weeks later it was £57 two days later on my wrist. Definitely like the blue one, maybe Ii may treat myself......
Great watches! I think the blue version would have looked even better with the red tipped second hand which is on the black mdv106. Hard to complain about these fantastic watches though.
Casio have made my list of favorite watch manufacturer. For inexpensive watches they can't be beat for their quality. I have an old Arnie Casio that I've used for decades and have recently put back into my watch rotation after getting its first service. Starting buying G Shocks now.
I just got my first Duro, the one with the golden details, and i am absolutely amazed about how comfortable it wears and the quality of the watch. Wow!!! I orderen the black and blue one right away
These Casio Duros are on point, can't believe I've never bought one. I feel like I have too many divers anyhow. Maybe if Casio does a Hulk I might not be able to resist.
I just picked up the gold. Unbelievable! I compared it to my Seiko diver and it's built just as good.,indices right on.The Seiko still runs the 7S26 movement which isn't as good as it used to be. 200m and screw down crown, you can dive with this.
This is one well made watch. For $40.00 it's the best everyday wear. Watch. Just wish the date window was a bite larger. So you can see it. Other than that I would recommend this to everyone.

Love your channel, but I’m almost 100% sure that the markers are not applied, they are pressed out from the back of the dial during manufacturing of the dial. Keep them coming….👏👍

I have only had it for a couple months but there are no scratches yet. It's got a mineral glass crystal which is typical for any watch under $200. Also You can clear up scratches with polywatch. There are youtube videos of people using polywatch, it is pretty good.
Are there any bracelets available for the duro? Or us it just a matter of buying those Chinese bracelet with the 3 different end links and hoping for the best?
Bonjour! I was asking myself the same question a few weeks ago and contacted Casio. (Germany) They told me there are no plans to release this model in Europe! Pretty stupid, isn't it? But you can lock in to Amazon.com (US) by using your password for Amazon France. That's how I finally got my MDV-106. Hope I could help, Greetz from Germany 👍🏻
Just scored a blue one off of Amazon for around $50 with tax. It has the Marlin on it. Came with the much-maligned resin band. Hacked it to NIST (WWV) and put it on about _three days ago_ and have not taken it off. For its 44 mm size and supposed bulkiness, It's incredibly comfortable and has lost precisely *ZERO SECONDS* over the 72 hours.
Love the blue. You don't see many sunburst dials like that on a $60 watch!

I wish it was applied markers, but it's just stamped out to make the markers look applied, I found that out while installing the sapphire crystal.

I think 1 thing that would be great for the watch would be, to enlarge the number of the day with a magnifier over it, so it can be seen easier.
I’ve heard any of the Strapcode SKX007 bracelets are a perfect fit on the Duro. Can anyone with experience confirm or deny?

The new colors look good. 44mm is too big for me. I am quite happy with my predecessor to the 106, the smaller MDV-102.

Please tell if gold (gilt ) watch color has disappered like scratched because gilt is a very thin layer
Don't get the gilt version. The gilt is always so thin that it soon gets worn and looks crappy. The Black and the Blue are the way to go.
