As always, thank you. You are the most helpful person on UA-cam for me regarding CoVid. First time listening, STEP !: I bought the Blox masks and feel so much more secure (fall 2023). I too am conservative but not living in a shell. November of last year, I wore it to a 200 person wake and service, and was the only one wearing a mask. I heard no feedback on anyone there catching COVID afterwards but glad I did so. However, fast forward 2 weeks- I had to cancel on going to a 10-person gathering at a friend's birthday, and the birthday guy caught it. So it goes. You're helping me with getting prepared so that I can venture out more in the future. I'm 76 with some other risk factors but still conservative. Haven't caught the thing yet, being 76 and retired.
Hum not sure about your comment about Canada controlling costs with respect to Paxlovid You can get a vaccine free every 6 months or every 3 months. I think in the US some have to pay over $150 Is the new Covid vaccine free in the US? Free updated COVID-19 vaccines are available to most adults living in the U.S. through their private health insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid plans. However, there are 25-30 million adults without health insurance and additional adults whose insurance does not cover all COVID-19 vaccine costs.
Yes, vaccines are another discussion. But Paxlovid is MUCH more expensive than vaccine. It's about $1700 per course. It's simply not true that it's a dangerous drug, so I don't know what else it would be.
@@SandysDIYHealthAdvocacy If COVID is as mild as people say why do people not at risk need Paxlovid? Seems like a waste or people are lying when they say COVID is mild now then? I don’t get how some think Paxlovid has zero risk and is somehow safer than the vaccine.
It was so disrespectful for that woman to go and cough on people
