I also had sensory hearing loss all of a sudden January 2023. And to be honest I HATE THE US MEDICAL INDUSTRY as they didn’t do crap for me I had to drive out of the country for treatment. Meanwhile I was left with tinnitus and hyperacusis. How’s you tinnitus has it gotten better?
@@SandysDIYHealthAdvocacySandy for me the first 8 months I was in sever depression & anxiety with this tinnitus. Sandy did you have or had any of the following when this happened? - Vertigo - Neck pain (like your head was too heavy for you neck and neck pooping a lot). - Nystagmus. - Headaches. - Hyperacusis. - Distorded Hearing like crackling sounds when listening to water running in the sink or watching videos on your phone. - And like me you must have had some minimal hearing loss for tinnitus. - With your tinnitus does it sound like your ears are a bit plugged only hearing humming or static noise? Thank you for your response, wishing us all a lot of happiness and healing 🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the update! I am in rather the same place you are with masking etc. I am still masking when I am teaching (I teach one on one piano lessons). Restaurants only if quite crowded. Same for theaters, large gatherings, etc. I appreciate so much your continued comments.
Happy belated birthday!! Two questions for you: 1) Would you get Novavax over mRNA for your next booster? 2) Do you think there is any merit to those in the LC community who claim not exercising for 3 months after COVID helps to prevent Long Covid?
Thanks so much. I personally won't use Novavax due to the adjuvant. I'd prefer mRNA Vax. I haven't heard of a theory about avoiding long covid via avoiding exercise. I've done quite the opposite.
I have recently developed SSNL. Is there a way to find an ENT that will do the steroid injections. I am in the NW of USA.
Almost any ENT practice. But it's very time sensitive, so go now!
Good birthday wishes, and thanks for the very useful information.
Great update. Glad to hear you're feeling better. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! 🎂🍰🧁

It has gotten better, though I still have bouts of it. I think I've also learned to tune it out.

@blancacasillas8226 fortunately, I didn't experience those symptoms.

The bereavement is very tough during these times, especially. (It's always hard~)
@@francesschaefer that is so true!
As you alluded to "CDC recommends spring Covid booster for older adults" - NBC News
