I like this guy, he's awesome. I'm a pretty handy mechanic, with a neighbor that's a hell of a mechanic, and I'm a good welder. Been thinking about building myself either a gyro, or a small helo. I love the fact he put a SKS in the nose, definitely something I've considered. Though, being in the US, I've got considerably more options. Great video, thanks for the ideas.
Goodness me, this vid is full of gems. "This A/C is foolproof until a fool flies it", ha! It's been a while since I watched your channel and having fun with the backlog. And a bloody SKS armed gyro for shooting ground targets?! How did that go for him? Max certainly makes the Road Warrior look like a documentary, hah! What's next, chucking beer bottles that may or may not be filled with a certain cocktail from the gyro? Loving the bomb-like belly-tank, too. What a vid. Cheers, and hope you're havin' a good time!
Interesting for me is which type of engine he used. His gyro use a lot of gasoline... 26 L/h is a lot. Engine have a carburator ? Maybe this is a reason ? Any how.... Gooooooood work. Respect for Your friend. Rob
I have subaru dominator Gyro, Getting those oxygen ,throttle position , Maf , sensors to work is Right, you need to be Good Mechanic, you will get fuel burn of 2-3gal per hour
Yes, a gentleman from Macon Georgia, in the US has been flying and training using Mazda rotary engine since the early ‘90’s. He has worn many of them out. I can give you a count officially how many he has used and replaced but it is considerably more than 5. I believe he is pushing 235 hp on a Parsons tandem trainer style of fuselage.
On my channel description I have an email address. I am not very knowledgeable about engineering questions because I don't build I just fly, just letting you know 😁👍

What a character. Bloody brilliant!
I have flown with max in his machine at Kununurra 2016, he is a legend.
Cheers

Character for sure, loads of power there. Impressive machine poet to boot.lol
Flown in it many times, it’s a beast
I love your helmet cam vids
Nice,, wish the sks was still available
Oh snap Max got it off the ground, that's amazing man!!!!!!!
He flies this all the time and takes people for rides 😉
I love your videos.....

It's a Subaru EJ25 engine, non carby. Gyro motors normally use pretty high revs to stay up maybe that's also why 👍

That’s a nice machine he built. I would fly with him anytime.
Nice job!!!
sure I wououd fly his gyro. It sounds like it is well built.
Had a thought driving home today, has anyone put a Mazda rotary in a gyro? Or any ultralight?

I would love to see his machine. I live in Florida.
Yes I would fly in it😊
Do you have build schematics?
What calculation did the builder do to determine the amount of surface area for the vertical stabilizer?
Maravilha de aeronave quro uma
And what type of engine is it what size
lol. I think I would fly that beautiful thing but I noticed that ALL of your footage was from Terrafirma. Edit ----> 😊😊 😉😉😉
Laughing!! Car thief caught - Awesome!!
Hoe big are the rotor blades
I think they are 28
@@omeobandit9928 sounds about right ,would 25ft blades lift it
@@mikew.inversegravitycraft I think it would take a huge performance decrease. It's a heavy bastard 😁
@@omeobandit9928 I agree, what size and grade teeter bolt (Jesus bolt) did you have to use
@@mikew.inversegravitycraft I don't know, max Tate is the builder and pilot. He's a retired instructor
Hey how can I get in contact with you

I will fly only if he paints the craft.
У дедули шлем прикольный😅😅😅
