This is definitely one of the best tracks in the game

Honesly after Dragon Age 2 i was sceptical about Inquisition, but that scepticism was blow away after only 2 hours into the game.
    Great Job Bioware.

How so?To me the first 2 hours were the worst,it only gets better the longer you play it though.

Hilariously, I had the complete opposite experience. After Dragon Age 2, I really thought Bioware was hitting their stride and had great optimism for Inquisition. Then, they went and turned the great, well-paced, narrative-driven series into a slow, tedious open world game.
It wasn't BAD... but, why? How did they miss the essence of what makes Dragon Age good so much that they thought that a big open world game was the direction to take the series?

Funny enough DA2 is the one i like to replay the most.
Even with all its MASSIVE, HUGE, HUMONGUS shortcoming.
Maybe is the more intimate, small setting of a self made individual, maybe is the division in acts that makes it almost like three ministories.
Maybe is the growing Templare Mage conflict.
(the characters are okay... nothing mindblowing about them, and broody is really annoying)
Maybe is hawke, i prefer voiced protagonist.
Silent one just put me off.
      Unless they are actually mute.
I love DA:O and DA:I but they are just too needy. And "save the world" story sometimes get annoying if you don't have small stories in between to give them weight.
Also the huge open world felt a bit overwhelming...
Okay... but meh full of busy work...
Don't get me wrong DA:I awesome story, emotional, best ost in the franchise.
      Just too needy.

I kinda wish this had taken place at night. The brightness of everything besides the Breach detracts from just how big it is. Not to mention the surrounding area is all snow, which hurts my eyes if I haven't touched grass. Spoilers:
Going through the dank lower dungeons of Redcliffe Castle and seeing the entire sky as The Breach was a special, if terrifying moment for me. The juxtaposition was very clear to me and stays with me to this day.

The start of the game was one of the best parts of it, mostly thanks to this track and a big green hole in the sky raining demons.

This somehow has Mass Effect all over it, not sure why though, perhaps the subtle tunes in the quiet parts.

My headtheorycanon is that DAI is a manifestation of Shepard in rubble dreaming-transferring through the realms of creation into being the 'spirit' that becomes 'The Inquisitor', so hearing this music at the Temple of Sacred Ashes was just fine ;). "The 'Shepard's' lost, and his home is far... "

+Jurriaan de Jongh That is likely a result of the composition's extraordinarily high awesome quotient.

Haha, I waited for this! Fantasy game with a sci-fi soundtrack! I knew it would be awesome since I'd played first two Dragon Ages to the tunes from X-Com, Mass Effect, Starcraft, Gears of War and whateverelse )) True that soundtrack doesn't need to be high-fantasy cliche in the post-modern dark-fantasy setting.

That piano makes me think of COD Zombies with Where Are We Going, for some odd reason
