Swamp N Stomp is a channel or vlog, whatever you want to call it, dedicated to helping the hunting community grow, specifically in Florida. Studies show that the majority of modern hunters had family members who raised them as hunters, and a large portion of non-hunters want to hunt but don't know where to start. By documenting our hunting adventures, making instructional or tutorial videos, and really anything-hunting-related videos, we hope to help bridge that gap by providing practical information for beginner and experienced hunters on how to become a better and more ethical hunter. Click that subscribe button and join us for the ride! Thanks for watching!

The information presented in these videos are based on personal preference, should you choose to adopt methods presented in these videos, the responsibility for that decision falls on you. Furthermore, it is important to stay up to date with rules and regulations that apply to you and the land you hunt on. Be safe, stay diligent, and good luck in the woods!

We all gotta start somewhere! But if you are looking for a network of hunters up north, have you considered joining the Florida chapter of backcountry hunters and anglers? I’m a board member and we organize all kinds of events to get new hunters into the woods, great place to meet hunting friends. Also you could check out the chasing tales podcast. They have a patreon group that they do stuff with. We have one too but are further south but they are up north. Thanks for watching, make sure to subscribe. Plenty more videos to come. Have a good one! -Mark

Great advice. What do you know about WMAs that do not require quotas? I have been applying every weekend since the main app phases and still do not have a quota. In the past, I have seen no-quota WMAs before, but FWC's website only lists no-quota WMAs for spring turkey season.

Take another look at the FWC website. You’ll find the wma search where you can filter non quota areas. -Danny

I'm new to hunting in Florida WMAs. Would you say a blind is pretty much pointless for the terrain here? I plan to invest in a stand before next season but using a blind at the moment with no success.
